  9. That's not exactly what we(or at least I) want. I was trying to get a barracks(and later capital ship) to build units in a tactical battle during GC. What if you could activate the reinforcement button for the defender? I'm not very good with buttons, but I know there's an XML that can do this.
  10. Muzzle flashes arn't that important...... I'm not a modeler, but I think you just make them a seperate mesh, then some how make them activate with the animations.......Or maybe if you name them the right thing, they'll activate with the shots..... :o YOU'VE EXPORTED GROUND UNITS TO .ALO!!?? This community needs help! Other communities need help- Oh yeah......I forgot....... The modeler famine is comming to an end......

  13. Plot device? This is absurdity. 1. Good does always win, besides, who actually wanted the Empire to condemn the entire galaxy to a very long time of torture and toil just to please one person who is very evil?? ?? 2. Situation. The Emporer was distracted by Luke, so no one could tell him the Rebels were right in-front of their ships and if they fired the Superlaser it would blow up Executor! And they were under orders to leave it to the DS(I think) 3. The Empire had some major tactic issues...... 4. The Superlaser takes a few seconds to charge DANG IT! NOT ONLY WAS THAT REALLY RANDOM BUT IT SPOILED FoC! Gtg
  14. Actually, I'm adding a mod that adds the Post Ep3 period, and MAYBE Black Sun, though not replacing the Consortium. Remember me? It's been a long time... I scrapped my old mod, glitched the new.... :'(
  15. I finally figured out what this could be used for! Multiple maps to one planet! It would make it less annoying to just put something a little north then a little east.

  18. I tried to make GC barracks build troopers. It worked, but I couldn't bring my new troops down to the surface, and after the battle, they dissapeared. >

OK Downoad http://eliteforce2.filefront.com/file/DDS_Converter;29412 Download the .MEG extractor Download Hexedit Extract textures from Textures.MEG Copy and rename texture file, Delete the junk infront of R or E make sure it has the same ammount of characters as the original Convert that to .TGA Edit it Extract Models.MEG Copy and Rename the model that uses the skin Hex it Replace all references(use the search button) of the original skin name with yours Put your skin into Star Wars Empire at War\Gamedata\data\Art\Textures Put your Model into Star Wars Empire at War\Gamedata\data\Art\Models That was kind of sloppy, hope it helps.
  22. How come it hurts enemies and not allies?
  23. I have heard that some people have been able to build ships with other ships. Thus, you could delete ALL the fighters(and corvettes and frigates for the empire), and then have them built by other ships. Then the rebels would lose the corvettes and frigates at the tech they get mon cals, and the mon cals would build corvettes and frigates. The same(unfortuneatly) could go for inantry. There could be a mobile barracks, and elite infantry could be able to 'call down'(build) more infantry. Expanding on the mobile barracks idea, Project Mars has been able to get Star Destroyers visible in orbit during land battles. They could be like "mobile barracks'.
