*SIGH* I meant hex the MODELS!!! I would never dare do anything stupid, especially not like, ruin my .EXE! HEX can be very bad, but make sure you do it right, and only hex models. If you don't hex models, then good luck skinning. EDIT: Here's one that I THINK is the one I use...Don't kill me if I'm wrong..... By the way, there was a tutorial on skinning, and it said to use hexedit...It got deleted in the memory wipe.. http://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~prewett/hexedit/

Rename your skin file so it has the same ammount of letters as the original skin. Copy the model file(rename it), and hex it. Replace the name of the original skin in the new model with the name of the new skin. There's the short version. -

I think it's a conversion error.....LOL, the anims were the only thing I actually converted! It's probably my Mustafar and Kamino......Hmmm..... EDIT: *gasps* It was a conversion error! It works in standard EaW! ..... But there is a freakish glitch. MY CLONES DISAPPEARED! :'(

If you want CIS stuff, ask Keeper of Faith. The CIS stuff doesn't come with the game. -
Ok, fixed all the bugs, got to the loading screen, and BANG No XML parser stuff, just an ordinary exception. Does it have something to do with the XMLs? Or is the anims? I'll convert the anims anyways..... EDIT: Not the anims......

Could you make it read FoC's textures from it's .MEG? I've been really wanting to check out those skins-and I don't want to copy them all over again

Nice! Is there a way to make a hero buyable for all factions, but only one may be built? I was thinkin' if you set it the affiliation tag to all factions, and made only one available, that might work. Could anyone test this?

Somebody said FoC had an XML parser. Is this true? Is it an executable, or just the EXCEPTION box? How well does it work?

I might help, but keep in mind I am a lazy procrastinator and STINK at XML coding. I also have promised to help other mods. And I have a life. That's why I didn't volunteer. Why can't you start it by yourself? Concepts don't excite people, renders and screens do. Oh.....I thought you could mod.... -
No. There are many many mods that are unfinished. The reason why no new ones came out right now, I don't know exactly. But I know why the others aren't out yet. 1. Too big, takes a long time. So you just have to be patient (no offense) 2. Too small. Hardly any modders, lazy modders, glitches, etc can kill a mod. I'm not modding right now because I'm waiting for FoC. Monday

I'm gonna LOVE that Arc hammer code. I'll use it for Triumph(Rogue clone ship) I can't wait for FoC!!!!!! Monday Of course there's a disgustingly large mound of homework waiting to torture me upstairs. It'll take forever for monday to come....

*sigh* Where's the logic behind it being neccary? Unless FoC completely destroyed all the code and made individual entries "top level", they most likely couldn't stop you from putting more than one in an XML. Use Gameobjectfiles.XML

Sweet! Maybe I should make some "dark side" skins. Like a sith without hood(Dark Acolyte), 'nother one made to look like Malorum(Imperial Inqusitor), and some others I'll think up soon.
