  1. WAIT! That tutorial is for Re-skinning, sorry. It won't work at all.
  2. You do know you can set a hole in the terrain, and place a sinkhole object underneath the ground, then set the passability so nothing can walk over the hole in the terrain?
  3. I know. I looked at the attack anims in the ALO viewer, and Luke's animation seems to almost fit with one of Vaders. But it's nothing as good as the heroclashes. For my mod, I think I'll be a little creative. I think I can get a 'Force Dual' between Yoda and Palpy, where they "take turns" tossing each other into the air....But it still won't be as good as a heroclash.

  5. Whoa..... Makes you stop and think what could happen to the next line of games... Another thing that makes me cry is that they took out the awsome Heroclashes. I added the Obi-wan vs Vader one back, but there are no anims for the others.

  9. Monkey, D803 made an entire playable faction without any new models. Of course, to make it look cooler, he did add two new skins in the end(he'll probably add more) but it was still awsome without any new models!
  10. It won't show ingame? You put your XML files in \data\XML, right? You did download my files, right? Then it should show up...unless there's a syntax error(I'll check it quick) EDIT: OOH! No syntax, but a HUGE problem. Your '501st_Squad' trooper should be a varient of the '501st' trooper, not the stormtrooper. Change <Variant_Of_Existing_Type>Stormtrooper</Variant_Of_Existing_Type> to <Variant_Of_Existing_Type>501st</Variant_Of_Existing_Type> I'll try to get it to work. In the meantime, you could put them in a squad with Vader, if that works. EDIT: And when you put code on the internet, please try to put it in a code box. Assuming you have Config.meg extracted and Groundinfantry.xml and GroundcompaniesEmpire.xml placed in \data\XML For the 501; Copy the Stormtrooper data in groundinfantry.xml, rename it "501" or something, add <No_Colorization_Color> 0, 0, 225, 225 </No_Colorization_Color> Now, change the stats. It's not hard how to figure out : Copy the Stormtrooper Company(Imperial_Stormtrooper_Squad) in GroundCompaniesEmpire.XML, rename it Imperial_501_Squad Change the cost by changing <Build_Cost_Credits>60</Build_Cost_Credits> to <Build_Cost_Credits>100</Build_Cost_Credits> Now what you have is two stormtrooper squads, one more expensive, that's blue and has your stat changes. If you want Clone Trooper 501rst(like in episode III), download my skinpack, put CI_501TCOP.dds and W_LASER_SMAL2.dds into \data\Art\textures, and put CI_501.alo into \data\Art\Models.   14. Oh, this is pretty much the ONLY thing I do with the map editor. Get a MEG extractor, extract maps.MEG, put the files in \data\art\maps, and edit.

  18. Firstly, your a genuis. Secondly, it's not supposed to be one turbolaser. The ship fire was probably weakening a lot more, and the turbolasers were blown off in the process...at least, I think... Anyways, that fact is creepy.
