  1. It's been ages since I've been able to actually work on Dark Empire, now that I've finished High School, I have more time to sit and mod. I'm looking for an infantry modeler and a texturer to help complete Dark Empire SPG. Any other modelers, mappers, coders, are welcomed additions as well. Right now only 3 people are working on Dark Empire SPG. Myself, Capt Wildstar, and Sgt Hicks.

  3. The limit is infinite essentially, there is no known limit to my knowledge. Most pcs lag a noticable amount a great deal at around 80 to 90 planets. Slower machines can handle about 70.
  4. mike.nl's importer is better. Imports straight into Max.
  5. Why didn't petro do this? EaW can run on a 1.0 gigahertz machine. This probably takes like 2 gigahertz

  13. You don't remember in Eaw how the Rancor occasionally ate a unit? Similar effect. Or we will try to at least Lol one of these you may want like 5 or 6 mc90s at distance. We're still toying around with it.

  15. Depends on the item. Units from FoC that are in DE. Depends. IF they remain balanced then yes. If not No. Things like Luke I rather it be our own because during the 6 years after Endor, Luke makes remarkable progression in skills with a lightsaber so FoC's style of lightsaber isn't right. He also goes through the series with a spiffy cloak. The World Devastators where to begin with that. In eaw the rancors had an "eating" animation if you remember. We'll use that in Eaw, however I didn't see rancors having eating animations in FoC so I don't know if they disabled that. World Devastators are built in space and can land. They aren't like AGDs world Devastators. We increased the reinforcement point range so that the World Devastators would fit. These are massive machines that produce a truckload of tie droids. When I say I highly recommend v-wing airspeeders and anti-air turrets, I suggest you listen. Otherwise you probably won't produce enough firepower to take one of the beasts down. In space it's definitely easier to take the World Devastators down with powerful mcs.

  19. scripts can't be used uncompiled, it's written in bytecode for the computer. Decompiled versions are for humans to read FoC does decompile them, told you
  20. @MP Uh FoC map editor comes out with decompiled scripts so notepad and world processors can read it.
  21. ??? if it works on one unit shouldn't work on another...
  22. jk hit a recession in modding, I asked quite a few to come over into this community.
