They shouldn't have done the dumb "Every faction is exactly the same and has the same classes of ships and troopers which preform virtually indentically except for looks" for BF2. Its simple and easy to get at first, then it gets lame. That CP in the ship, if that make the ship captureable, and that you get fighters from it, then it'd be a step. If you could control the ship, then it'd be better. (make it like an AT-TE but have it need around 20 gunners (for the larger cannons) and a few for steering) Fully destroyable capital ships would be nice too...bomb out ist subsystems, then kep circling the hulk and bombing it until it has craters and splits. Of, the subsystems shuld actually DO something. Like killing life support take out all the gunners and people controlling the ship, as well as anyone not it in the hangar or something. Engines should stop it from being able to steer, sensors should get rind of the minimap/map, comm array should make it so you can't type and use the comm, etc...and make those subsystems fully repairable as well. It'd be more strategic, not just ego shooter - land your craft, go inside, spawnkill everyone >.> or just shoot all the ships coimign out of the hangar.
