I don't think I changed it either 1x 2.6GhZ Dual Core 2x NVidia GeForce 7600 GS 512mb (SLI) (total 1GB) 2x Seagate 160GB HardDrive (Raid 0) (total 320GB) 2x 1GB RAM (total 2GB) I have 2 more slots for more ram If I need them. So far, I haven't yet... my old comp was 1x 1.6GhZ 1x Nvidia GeForce 4 Mx440 64mb 3x Random 40GB Harddrives (total 120GB) 1x 1GB RAM with no more slots for anything... Well, progress still slow - I have to get my modding programs back, well one trip to Mike.nl's site should get me everything but my HEX Editor...
  3. Double post, but an update, so its all good...lol. As some of you know, (and most of you don't), I have recently switched computers from my old machine, to a brand new one, which supports EaW/FoC at max graphics at the highest resolution with a raging battle going at no lag...so I can actually join in and stop complaining about the shader stuff. As a consequence, I haven't developed the mod much over the last weekend and past few days, which I usually spend adding most oft he new stuff... What IS new is...: New way of aquiring M.A.Ps in skirmish, basically the same way you get the Interdictors Remade AI so that they'll build some of the new Tech placements so they can build the units wich require special tech to aquire Well, what I found out is that somehow, my AI got better...maybe it's my new processor? Donno.   4. The X-Wing has the trench run at the bottom...I suggest you replace that with something Personally, I'm a fan of the lambada one.
  5. Likely something was set wrong or its in the wrong place. I don't know myself since I rarley play that mode (an oddity around here), and the only modification I made was of an existing one. If it was made a long time ago, it was likely lost in the wipe..though I doubt thats the case...
  6. I remeber someone saying it couldn't be set so just copy and existing one...its never been a burned anyway - its only around 20 lines to delete...
  7. q1- No idea...kinda vague description q2- That's probably because...you changed some of what it normall builds... q3- Making a squadron a transport...I doubt it'd work... which unit would transport? q4- yes, I think you can set the "aplha" to 0 (like 0, 0, 0, 0)...I haven't tried tho, and on my new computer, it handles aplha-fading now, so setting it at grey works very well. I myself had over 10 mods (well, most of them were redundant copies that didn't do anything and unnanounced personal gameplay modifications that are incomplete)
  8. Well, If you want that to work, all you'd need to do is place a few firing hardpoints onto the tips of the missile tubes that don't fire unless its deployed...that way, when it opens up, it becaoomes some sort of Ub-er platform that shoots down everything that gets near it...
  9. RotJ. Space Battle. RotS was...eeehhh messy. It tied up the story quite nicely (but still leaving a few plotholes). The coruscant space battle was too short...if you got to see more of it...I'd might have voted for it (since I like that space battle better than endor), but well, I felt it was trying to show too much at the same time - lots of location jumping.

Ehhh...not with the armor they have on (which doesn't appear to do anything)...well, the LACK of armor on the rebels doesn't seem to have any negative effect, though it does take quite too long to kill normal sorliders with blaster fire. Rolling aside, maybe (but they'd still get hit by the blade when that crazy jedi comes in waing around his lightstick), but not doing like a breakdance thing and leaping up. Not a normal trooper...can YOU do a flip back up holding a gun, wearing a backpack and armor, AND getting slashed at by a sword? no I don't think so. Can anyone? Jedis shouldn't take ANY time getting up unless they get pushed under something or they get knocked out...in that case you're screwed anyway. lol. Yes, the jedi going *unnnnh my Baaaaaccck* and getting up excruciatingly slowly is annoying lol. I like head-shotting jedis with snipers with scope off tho. Its fun. Mines work well too, as do rockets (In cramped areas)

  12. Ehhh.... Well, you can kinda do that with the existing model, except, its all on one turret.
  13. EaWFoC uses a special type of TXT file which you cannot set. Copy an existing file, rename it, and edit it.
  14. Or just name any MP3 file UND_ZANN_CONSORTIUM_THEME.mp3 and place into directory Audio/Music (which is what I do) - this allows me to even play online with my own playlist of personalized music Although within a mod, MusicEvents.XML is the better way to go. Its personal preference, really.
  15. Its because I cheated and removed its alpha channel and simply colorized those parts on the skin itself. I might add a few bands back so you can tell which player it belongs to... You'dh ave to add the BRIBE ability to their container as well (they have one by default, its needed for a targeted ability like BRIBE or PING). Then it hsould work...unless you already have had that. Renaming the topic, yes I can do that. Moving it...not so sure. Well, since it started its evolved, so if a moderator thinks it'd be better off in the Community projects section, by all means move it.

  20. Because they don't walk. Flying is their default movement pattern. If you want to have troopers floating around and not waking, fine with me... Triple Post Much? Between the first two was FIVE MINUTES.

But watch out for noob-mods that are going to pop out...makin too much easy GUI-ed tools, noobs will start thinking they can do everything and start spammin all over the place...there might be a lot of questions from general idiots that don't read about stuff about the editor...hopefully, we can avoid that.

  23. But it gives you SO much satisfaction when you capture all CPs but one in a cramped room with the AI up to 32, get maul, and fly in there chopping them up. It;d be better if they fell to bits but meh.
