  1. depends on the company really..some are really REALLY good about modding...epic, valve, and the company that did TA (and soon supcom) for example. others are horrible...SOE, EA are good examples.

  5. depends what u attack with if you have torp boats, ywings no point attacking shields but if ur attacking with stuff like neb-b's, corvette's, mon cal's that dont go thru the shields then its better to take down the shields first
  6. i go for hanger first if its lvl2 or higher as then it'll spawn stuff like tartans
  7. how can u not have any assault frigates if they got isd's? also torpedo boats are great for hit and runs
  8. aiterraineffectiveness.xml apparently does that based on terrain no idea what it actually does though!
  9. i'd love to see mods like [ROR] do this! be suer to resize buildings too so theyre not squashable

  12. that's probably due to the distance, you don't need to make great details..well on fighters atleast!
  13. heh to be expected i think we need to add something...not in the rules to give that guerilla hit and run style fighting that the rebels use! it was fun obliverating space stations on my xwings 1 xwing took out spacestation lvl 1's shields in 1 run although thats cause the dmg they do is like 100 units or 120 for missiles while nothing else had been modded i think im gonna try how many isd's i can take out with 25 xwings PS: read your PM's!
  14. yea, i tried making it my own...it didnt work then i even tried copying your one and didnt work...then i got it to work by not modifying the files in /xml folder and moving them there afterwards!
  15. i just noticed a big problem.. the fleet of doom. seriously the ai attacked me with literally 28 (guessing popcap is on for rebel fighters?) and 1 corvette. i could do anything!! there was just too many!

  18. how did u get gameconstants to have DR cause its always a percentage not a raw number like you need!

  20. that sucks, not only can we not share it but cant buy it either i hope someone does share em
  21. on lucasforums a dev said it's cause there's no bone attached to the models, which we can't do till the sdk gets here!

  23. ive done xwing/awing/ywing now just wondering how im supposed to do buildings like starbases, currently an xwings proton torps will completely take out starbase lv 1's shields.
  24. if you guys need them i made a xwing/ywing/awing according to the specs cause i was bored and needed to learn ;D
  25. unlikely - the sw realism mod has it working and doesnt have it.
