We can definately use them for skins.. i know that for a fact.. but i dont think we can replace them with the same name as their DDS equivalent .. unless we change the file name of the skin on the file itself.. which already seems to be in TGA format.. Its the same way generals worked And i never used DDS.. because i was too lazy to get the importer/exporter

Never occured to me and i havent spotted it on other forums too (relating to TR). It might be a game mishandling. It has happend to me ... the Millenium falcon just stays in one place and is unable to move.. Not sure what causes it but he was still able to fire his quad laser cannons..

Are you asking if mods work online.. not with anyone who doesnt have the mod .. but i have played a few mod online games with my freinds and it was fun .. but since there is no "mod downloading" system it might be hard to find people with mods .. although.. since the support for changing XML's mid game is already there.. maybe.. they might add support

YEA STOP IT!! Yes i agree.. u cant have a 5 yr old play GTA because.. ANYTHING not only video games can affect his mind in a negative way.. its just too easy And if you dont know that ur son is playing GTA or has bought a game like so .. should lost custody of his children because obvously they dont spend enough time with their kids at all to realize.. wow .. my son got his hands on GTA.. I bet if you look around his room a little more often or watch what he does sometimes you might find out that there are a lot worse things he might do than just play video games *cough* crack*cough*

I agree with the above post especially the AMD being better for gaming and that if you dont want to upgrade later 2gb of ram would really halp If u plan to use this for gaming and have any type of surround sound system maybe you should consider a decent sound card.. the intel intergreated is fine while it may say 7.1 it may not support open al or EAX 1-5... EAW uses eax 1-4 and also intergrated would decrease frame rate.. abit.. but not that noticable.. maybe even gettin an old sound card with EAX 4 woulnt cost more than 40 bucks.. ( i got one for an old computer for that price) this may just be a luxury tho But hopefully with the release of windows vista and DX 10 not much will change.. although.. i might be wrong.. and it may not be worth waiting.. or upgradin right off the bat.. just something to think about

is there anyway we could change our gamespy name.. lets say from the gamespy site.. i have some buddies on my normal account.. and i wanna put PFF before it.. but id have to create a new account.. anyone know if we can change prefixes.. like in bf 2?

You would need to edit the stormtroopers skin for each individual type u want which we cant do til mod kit let me explain why to have dif. types of strorm troopers with diferent skins you must have an ALO file for each one .. because they must all have a diferent skin DDS or TGA that skins them U could edit the existing one.. and make lets say the snow trooper have a little red cross on their body and put it into a sandtrooper squad.. .. by editing the Snowtroopers skin.. but u can not have the same ALO file have more than one skin .. so until mod kit comes out we cant do much with the models/ skins

Just found this out.. build a ground commander dude and put ur mouse cursor over one of the rebel soldiers in that squad.. not the commander and i think it says elite rebel soldier or something similar.. i dont think normal troops say that either

See.. i knew somethign was fishy.. i never just let them wander into range.. or at least i didnt when i was playin ur mod.. so.. there we go problem solved
