  1. Umm, Phantom, yuo're not going to get it. I want the Gungas! Everyone except Jar Jar. Edit: And I certainly hope they don't put in any EU garbage.
  2. I don't understand why people hate Gungans. Ok, so one of them happens to be a total goof and ends up in the Republic Senate. Why do you hate all of them? I don't. I like most of them. The Ewoks are our real enemies, they're all the same.
  3. Yeah, you can just flush your EU super-races down the toilet, the Empire will own them. I'll play with the Rebels.
  4. No, there's nothing wrong with the angle. The something-effect (curse you, language barrier!) enables that shot to come from the planet's surface. I think that bolt may well come form an ion cannon. At least I hope so.
  5. Ithorians, Ithorians, Ithorians! I just hope they are in the game, though it is unlikely. Gotta love those Ithorians!
  6. Nice, just nice.
  7. Are you some kind of sick AT-AT-hater or do you just enjoy the nice view? We need a few more units, I say.
  8. Well SW:Battlefront 2 gets released on November the 1st, so that might be a good mother load of info releasing day.
  9. I strongly agree with Nevets on the personal vendetta-thing, I hate that. I've seen that on forums here in Finland, moderators banning people for the smallest reasons just because they dont like them. I haven't seen Youki do that, and that's good. But I'm not all-seeing, I hope my impression isn't completely wrong. Youki always at least tries to be friendly rather than choking every noob. So you're a good admin, but you're not perfect either.
  10. What are the minimum system requirements?
  11. But the question is: How do you use them in EaW?
  12. http://empireatwar.filefront.com claims that Nebulon-B-frigates come in diiferent variations, like the medical frigate.
  13. G-Vader is an angry, angry man. I'll most likely play the Rebels first.
  14. The best way to solve all of these problems about the DS being useless or just a liability would be that when the game starts, it's already under construction. @Teradyn: The Rebels are always going to be outnumbered, as the game goes on, both factions will grow stronger, and when the Imperials are able to build a Death Star, (Or a massive fleet) the Rebels will be strong too. The real question is: How can the Rebels win at all? There can be two solutions: 1. Petroglyph succeeds amazingly well in making hit 'n' runs and stuff like that possible. 2. The Rebels only have to destroy/capture key planets and places to win, while the Empire has to capture/destroy everything.
  15. The Rebel player will have to be darn good to capture every Imperial planet, so I hope the win/lose conditions go like this: How the Empire will win: Capture all Rebel planets and possible mobile space outposts. (Referring to things like a big convoy of cap ships where the Rebels can live, if such things exist in EaW) How the Rebels will win: Capture Coruscant and destroy the Death Star. (I hope it will already be under construction in the beginning of the game)
  16. Excuse me, but one unit is missing. The Corellian CR90 Corvette. You can see it in the Rebel Units section of http://empireatwar.filefront.com/
  17. I hope not. And if they do, the Imperials should get more too. No Bulwark, please!
  18. But for free!? I think Delphi should clarify this a little bit.
  19. I'm not too worried about anything in my com, except the video memory. It was in the warning level in KotOR2, 64MB. I'm not a PC player, in fact I know almost nothing about computers, but I know that if EaW will run on 64MB of video memory, the rest of my specs will be enough.
  20. @Teradyn: You have to control the space area to attack the ground, so the whole sneaking thing will not work. I agree with you on the bringing-trasports-after-battle-thing, though. I truly hope that you can station fighters in Space Stations, if not planets. Why?: 1. Because you could do it in "real life." 2. Because it will add more strategy to the game. The DS-luring strategy sounds good, 'cuz it will be a pain for the Imperials to find the Rebels. Why not just lure them out? Whether it works or not will be decided by the level of A.I, like Phantom said.
  21. Cool, no Intedictors for the Rebels! It seems that Pertoglyph has some brains, (Ok, maybe a bit rough, but I'm still angry about the no ESB and RoTJ vehicles thing) I'm glad you didn't create some new Uber-Powerful Super Interdictor Destroyer for the Rebels, cuz' they don't have one.
  22. Someone should ask about the minimum system requirements. If we'd get an answer to that, it would make many people happy, I think.
  23. It's not about the money, it's about the weirdness. The Imperials can't have the X-Wing, period. If the Rebels fail to steal it, then the Empire should get something that would be much like the X-Wing, cheaper and produced in bigger numbers and ahead of the "normal" SW timeline. As I said, the TIE Hunter would be perfect for this. You have to remember that the X-Wing would have been different under the Empire's control, the Rebels must have made some changes to it.
  24. Good question, I have pondered that before, just haven't asked it. It seems logical and not at the same time, will be interesting to see how they deal with it. I don't think they'll get an X-Wing, just something somewhat similar from the EU. I mean come on, the X-Wing is a Rebel symbol, the Imperials can't have it! Maybe they should get the TIE Hunter or something like that.
