  1. +Hazah!
  2. Yes, I too am sort of worried about the ISD's ability to generate TIE fighters for free. I hope Petroglyph will make the regeneration timer tick really slow, I don't want the Imperials to be too overpowered.
  3. The most humorous comments awards has a new number two! Sorry, even that's not beating Eduardo's "you're just a fucking boy." On topic, I voted for music, I don't think I'll have to explain why.
  4. What ever you do, Dork, don't get rid of the Hazah!-part.
  5. What's the video? Ever heard of the new EaW site?
  6. No, newcomers will be just as good as worked units. I don't understand why, though, it's only logical for them to gain experience.
  7. At least you should be able to. Discussion about the DS's uselessness has raged here, and without the unit carrying ability, the DS actually slides a little in to the useless-area. Delphi?
  8. Well, they used the word cannon fodder, and surely you have seen the video in the new EaW site where a small group of Ewoks hopelessy throw rocks at Rebels, only to be slaughtered seconds later. I think that pretty much answers the question.
  9. To answer a question asked by Wiking on the other (locked) thread of topic, cannon fodder means exactly what you said: Cheap (or even free) infantry units that can only slow down enemies in case of emergencies. Can moderators combine threads? I just thought that maybe the other thread could be combined into this one. You know, so the posts could be seen and all...
  10. TMoEUGB strikes again! Thanks for clearing that up, anyway.
  11. Welcome to the forums, ralphman, and true, the earlier videos showed Mon Cals and ISD's shooting with only 2-6 cannons at a time. The new video shows an ISD firing with perhaps all of its cannons, for one of these reasons: 1. Petroglyph is still polishing the game. It's possible they made cap ships shoot with more cannons to make battles seem more chaotic. 2. Cap ships use only their largest cannons to shoot other cap ships, and use the smaller ones to shoot fighters. 3. The ISD in the new video had enemies in every direction, thus it could bring all of its weapons to bear, using the left side cannons on the enemies on the left and the right side cannons on the enemies on the right.
  12. @Zer Teron: Yes, I know the Sith are an extinct race Boba can utilize his jetpack to fly quickly over harsh ground, and will be a great asset in capturing command posts. That is what I have deduced from the new Gamespot preview. Now that this has turned into a Boba thread, I'd like to say that I read about the whole Boba's crap death-thing on some internet site. The site claimed that Lucas originally filmed a scene with Boba jumping out of the Sarlacc pit using his jetpack, but the scene was left out of the movie, 'cause it just seemed a bit weird. So, if the site speaks the truth (damn me, just can't remember the name of the site) Boba didn't really die in RoTJ. His fate was just left unknown.
  13. You can use the population of a planet under your control as cannon fodder, sounds nice! Endor, here I come!
  14. The sith? Thank you, Captain obvious. Needless to say I was referring to some other race.
  15. I know Mace killed Jango, but I also remembered that Mandalorians naturally hate Jedi, which is not true. So sorry for being wrong. What was that Jedi-hating race anyways...
  16. Well, they've said that the campaign will be non-linear, so I don't think you have to complete every mission, if you lose, then you lose, and the campaign goes on. I still doubt that there will be much freedom in the campaign, so that's why (again) I prefer the Scenarios.
  17. Gotta agree with you on that, He was a supplies smuggler for the Rebels at least until Hoth happened. As for Boba I think Petroglyph has made him an Imperial-only unit, and I think they are doing the right thing. I just can't see a Mandalorian working for a very Jedi-friendly faction.
  18. Thanks, Fosh, I love this avatar!

    SNOW!

Man, how sad, Garbageben. I don't remember how you say you're sorry for a tragedy like that in English, so I'm just gonna say it the Finnish way: Otan osaa. I love snow, Christmas is a really big thing here, so were very relieved to have snow now. I mean, if Santa's home country is snowless, Christmas is ruined! I'm glad that's not the case this year, either.
  20. The campaign will end at either the destruction of Yavin IV or the DS. I agree with Nevets and you, the scenarios are what I'm mostly looking forward to.
  21. Sure does, but his Force Crush looks even worse. Imagine yourself inside a tin can. Now imagine the tin can gets stepped on by a highly obese individual. Ouch.
  22. What? Who? Me?
  23. I'm getting a DS soon, it hooks up with the Revolution, too. But the PSP-PS3 hook-up sounds just fantastic. I'm also thinking of buying the PS3 once it's price gets hammered. I think it's very realistic to think that PS3's price will drop at around 200 euros one day, since Sony has promised that PS3 will be their flagship for the next 10 years. Hang on MGS4, I'mma comin'.
  24. No, Naja, according to the new FAQ, I would say you do have to complete certain missions in the campaign. (Or at least try) The Scenario mode allows more freedom, like the Galactic conquest in SW: Battlefront 2. In the Scenario mode you choose which faction you want to play with and how big the galaxy will be. Then you just duke it out the way you see fit. Edit: Oh, I almost forgot, welcome to the forums, Grey_Raven, hope you enjoy your stay. I'll be looking forward to more good posts from you. I'd also like to warn you about the strict anti-spam policy in these forums. Spammers get banned easily, but your first post gives me the idea that you're not going to spam, am I right?
  25. Yeah, Eduardo made short posts but he never over-posted like Megajames. I think part of why he was banned was because Cain couldn't stand his bad grammar. The dude is from Venezuela, cut him some slack.
