  1. The controller, or "kaukkis-pad" as we call it here in Finland, looks to be an amazing controller. The possibilities are limitless, but the expansions also make it possible to make classic-style games for the Revolution. Imagine using the "kaukkis-pad" to control the movements of a lightsaber in a game. Man, I would LOVE that. Also, Metroid Prime 3 is coming for the Revolution. This console is a must.
  2. The site looks absolutely fantastic, I hope you get it ready soon, I know I'll be visiting.
  3. 3-10. Maybe even more. The Star Wars universe is huge, I think they're going to use most of the hugeness. This is supposed to be the ultimate Galactic Civil War game after all.
  4. I never get bored listening Star Wars music.
  5. Based on the screens this far, Geonosis is in.
  6. To my knowledge the whole Shadows of the Empire-game is "real" Star Wars. Am I wrong? If I'm right, then Xizor is important for creating all that fuzz in both factions of the Galactic Civil War, and Dash is important for getting the plans of the second DS. Why wont those Pexgames-sites open for me? Is it because I'm in Finland? Annoying anyway.
  7. I'm sure B-Wings, Interceptors and SSDs will be in, maybe Petro just doesn't want to show the more advanced ships yet.
  8. NOOO!!! There's been so much off-topic that I don't even remember the point of the thread anymore. Edit: I see we weren't that much off, this is a topic about changing history. Speaking about changing history, Ackbar, your Rebellion wont last 'till A New Hope.
  9. ...while my Slave one destroys all of your bases.
  10. I agree with you DarkMark. Tarkin has to be in. Maybe Tarkin would boost the speed of your Death Star.
  11. Excuse me, Sith Yoda? Sith Yoda and Jedi Yoda fighting? Somebody hasn't been sleeping well lately.
  12. No offense, but that's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I like the way this game lets you control the events of the Galactic Civil War, although it's still unclear how much we can bend the events.
  13. And then there are those who hate avatars with flaming monkeys in them.

  15. Great idea! Imagine Boba Fett flying around and shooting missiles while deflecting blaster bolts and slicing ground forces. Or maybe not, 'cause if that were possible, the ground battles would pretty much become lightsaber fights. Everyone would be using the force. I don't want too many Force users in the game, that would hinder their value. Damn! Now that you reminded me, I can't decide wich faction to use, since Boba is an Imperial hero.
  16. Actually, since we know Kyle Katarn will be a playable hero, the timeline has to go from after Episode III to after Episode VI. Welcome to the forums.
  17. I'm satisfied with the current look of lightsaber combat. It looks great to me.
  18. I'm totally confused. Maybe they're going to separate shield strenght from combat strenght in the final version. It would still be weird though.
  19. I agree.
  20. Aah, finally a thread where we can all express our happiness when they confirm the SSD. They will. I know, there's a disturbance in the Force.
  21. It's impossible to vote in the poll, the answer options are confusing. I say make a new one, more Star Wars-spirited.
  22. Yeah, I'm also wondering about the deep space battles. Will there be any? How will those battles start? The planetside space battles aren't actually that tight, you can have a lot of units there.
  23. Yeah, FPSs don't work well on consoles, but Battlefront is an exception. The aiming is somehow smooth enough to not make you mad. Still, it would be better on a PC, but then again, PCs don't have Splitscreen.
  24. Boba Fett! In space and on the ground! YES!!! Also nice to hear that Kyle Katarn and the Red Squadron will be in.
  25. Swiftdraw, SWBF2 will have improved AI, bigger maps and Rogue Squadron-like fighter control. (I agree, SWBF1 had bad fighter controls) Zarbryn, I think SWBF1 is clearly at its best in Split-screen multiplayer. That's the reason I'm buying SWBF2 for PS2 instead of a PC.
