  1. Well I'm just saying that the real world is also repetitive, so at least they got that part right. I just can't see myself playing an MMO about living. Like I said I wasn't trying to be mean or anything. What if we aren't alive and are just an MMO for some other person?
  2. Ask whether hard points are predetermined. For example some can only have weapons built into them or some can only have shields built into them.
  3. Use a jedi mind trick. You: waves hand "I need the copy of EAW." Them: "I need to give you the copy of EAW" hands it over You: "your bosses will be pleased" Them: "my bosses will be pleased"
  4. You can play .mov files in WMP. Anyway I play my 47 min. video in WMP. You'll be fine.
  5. I'll try this as soon as I get my copy of Generals back. I built a new pc and I have Zero Hour, but a friend of mine has the Generals cd so I can't reinstall yet. I have the mod downloaded and prepped to go though. Hopefully I'll get Generals back soon.
  6. Actually that's the premise of the whole game. Make your own destiny. The only thing you have to complete in this game is to find a way to eliminate the opposing side and rule the galaxy.
  7. We also might see a sequel set around the New Jedi Order time with the Vong invasion. There would be 3 sides: New Republic, Vong, and Imperial Remnant.
  8. I guess it would be ok for there to be unlimited SSDs allowed to be built by the empire as long as the build times were appropriate. About 10 minutes to build an SSD sounds ok I guess.
  9. I'm not sure. I would have said that the missles were coming from that corellian gunship at the station, but the missle trail makes it look like they were shot from the station... hmm. Well since we now know that stations can have laser guns, then I guess it would make sense for them to have missle launchers as well. I mean, after all they would make stations have hardpoints just like capital ships wouldn't they?
  10. There's a preview and a clip on Gamespot. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/battleformiddleearth2/preview_6130883.html Man this game looks sweet!
  11. Well the Jabba level is pretty cool and there is a custom map of Coruscant. I like the game, but I agree it isn't that totally amazing, but I'll still play it until Battlefront 2.
  12. LOL Welcome to the real world. Sorry I'm just giving you a hard time please don't take offense.
  13. Yes, Coruscant is one big city. However the city did not cover the entire planet. On the poles there were ice caps that they used to melt for water. For all practical purposes it is a huge city though and for EAW it will be an urban conflict.
  14. I'd say get another 512MB RAM for a total of 1 GB. Also I'd suggest a graphics upgrade. Get a 6600GT, but wait a few weeks because prices are supposed to drop with the release of the 7800GT.
  15. Well I had another CS:S moment today. I was playing on a server and my team was sucking (as was I). Now I am 0-5 and get awarded money (because I am playing bad). I buy a machine gun and run right at a large group of Terrorists mowing down 4 and then dying. So a while later I am 6-8 and I get one of the ECS SMG's. I stand at a doorway and smoke 4 terrorists trying to come through and then rampaged and killed 2 more. It may not seem like much to you good CS:S players, but when you're as bad as me, any kill is worthy of celebration.
  16. Wow nice screens and a couple of things I noticed right off. In the first screen there appears to be a rebel guy marching with the Imperial ground forces. Does that mean that you can capture ground forces and interrogate them or something? Or is it a rebel hero that has been captured? Also it could just be an Imperial spy that is going to infiltrate the rebels or something. On the space stations pics I still can't tell if the station is firing weapons or not. Again nice find!
  17. I imagine it to be similar to the one in the game Force Commander. Thin bridges connecting larger areas creating choke-points.
  18. I was thinking of getting this game. How's the multiplayer? What is the max # of players per game? The demo was awesome by the way.
  19. Well you would get to be nameless and omnipotent. He's just suggesting a character for you to be able to use, like a Han Solo or something. That's why the created character can die without causing you to lose. It would just be something fun to add to the game. I like the idea by the way.
  20. Yeah, you can have as many as you want.
  21. This is an interesting juncture because SSDs have been discussed. Petroglyph could have them as a hero ship (Executor) so that there would be just one or they could allow the building of SSDs allowing multiple ones to be built. If the SSD is in fact in the game I wonder if it will be a hero-ship or a ship type that can be built.
  22. Try to be patient with it, especially early on. Read the manual a few times first to kinda know what you are doing.
  23. I know I will support Petroglyph after EAW. Also aren't we overdue for a good Star Wars flight sim. The last good one was X-Wing Alliance, although this is for pc. Anyways yeah I support Petroglyph now and will do so in the future.
  24. Wow yeah that does look like a face. Creepy eh?
  25. It's just you Interestingly, why is the x-wing upside down in that shot? Did the pilot have one too many Rodian beers? I think the upside down X-Wing is just going through a roll or something.
