Ok, after this saturday (or whatever day it is where your at) I wanna play some FPSs. I think we all know this stands for First Persons Shooters, but if you didn't before now you do. Anyways, I got: Alien vs. Predator 2 (blah) The various Counter-Strikes (all two of them) Battlefield 2 (fear my heli) Unreal Tournament 2004 (w/ 6.3 gigabytes of mods) Star Wars Battlefront (blah) Battlefield 1942 (w/ Desert Combat) Battlefiled Vietnam (blah) I want to personally want to burn, blast, blow-up and repeatedly run over stuff!!!

Sort like poking badgers with spoons. Fun, but not conducive for a healthy and long lived life.

Every weapon your units have are nuclear. That would be awesome to see all the little and not-so-little mushroom clouds.

Thats the problem, we live in s society that tolerates and even agrees with idiots like this and worse. Even so, I don't think making him take a nap would have been the best desicion over something lke that... I would've been up on assualt charges and sued for more money than I had anyhow. To be quite honest, I gave up on humanity back in 7th grade. As to avoid a flame war, I won't say why I did so. Anyways, I always keep a good degree of pessimism on about everything anymore. So, back on topic... How are they going to answer questions? Is this going to be a free for all or what? I mean, its not like you can raise a hand for them to call on you or something.

Now, now. Always retaining a degree of skepticism is a good thing, that way you don't take everything for granted and have your hopes shot down. Expect the worse and hope for the best and you'll never be disappointed.

I remember when the imperials were attacking the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV it was mentioned that the Empire considered the Juggy outdated so they didn't put the best of crews in them. Thats why I thought they were out classed.

Oh I got one today that almost made me kil, and I swear if I find out someone asks what type of game EaW is... I know this may happen because of an incident today. I was playing Warcraft III today and a guy behind me watching me play asks; Idiot: "Oh, this is a Warcraft game?" Me: "Affirmative" Idiot: *Confused look* Me: *sigh* "Yes" Idiot: "Oh, so is this a new exspansion for World of Warcraft?" Me: *confused look* "Uhhhh... Noooo. Its a RTS* Idiot: "Huh?" Me: *patience running thin* "RTS means Real Time Strategy." Idiot: "Oh, well... Whats the difference?" Almost dropped him where he stood...

Oooo. I hope we get those MI-24 looking things from Ep.II. Republic gunships I think they're called. If I remember correctly, the Juggies were big wheeled tank type things that were really slow and out classed by later imperial walkers, right?

I'd go and participate if it weren't for the fact I'd probably want to go people hunting after suffering through some particuarly dumb comment and questions and/or questions that already been answered. This particularly goes for questions answered through well known websites (Ex. gamespot) Anyone want to start a betting pool on how many already-been-answered questions are asked?

I wasn't sleeping. I was desperately trying to tell you I had 1 minute left on my account for the internet center's computers and I was giving you command of my resouce operations. Oh... then there was my strike force of 6 fully upgraded foot soliders, lvl.7 dwarve king and 2 knights.

I haven't been negative... Well, anymore than usual. I think I'm 1 of 3 people who didn't care the Executor got the axe. As I said, I see this as a game first and Star Wars thing second. If somethings don't make the cut, oh well.

Me too. I'd hate to have to face one while playing as the Rebels. If I had to pick a side I'd go Empire, so this ain't a reb thing (though the A-wing is still my favorite fighter.) I just couldn't see it being anything more than an ISD +5 in the game. It really wouldn't of done much for the gameplay in my humble opinion. This game is open ended enough, the replay value will be there even without certian units. Also many units have already been modeled (some possibly textured) from community modders (all hail the mod!) and awaiting the game to come out to be coded. Worried about quality of the unit design? Take a look and the Legacy of War thread in the Mod section. Pretty darn good, right? Thought so... Now quit complaining. Also realize this is only one group. I can say with 100% certainty that there are more modders putting their own spin on things. Use Google, for it is your friend, and try looking up some. You just may find one that makes this game everything you dreamed of. When the game comes out, even more groups wil appear, or you could start your own mod!!! *GASP* I know it takes effort, but game communities tend to apprecate and even award good work. Also if you want to make video games for a career, making high quailty mods is a very good way to start. Ok, rant mode off... I'm starting to stray.

I can host online matches, I can turn my computer (HAL Atari) into a ded server. He has 2 gigs of RAM in him and when I hook up for online play he has a OC3 online connetion so lag shouldn't be a problem server side. For CS:Source my base of operations (or BoO for short) hosts a persistant server at I.P. 12.150.60.194 Also I'm an admin. there so we can get what we want when we want it 90% of the time. If we go with this and you want any mod maps on, I suggest informing me ahead of time so I can get it set up with the Internet Center.

Ooooo.... That is teh sexy... Just needs a little detialing on the body though. Eclipse is still my favorite of the bunch.
