  1. What is this doing, exactly?
  2. Ulnar numbness could be a result of having your arm in the sling too, if you mean that arm...
  3. Was anybody able to test beta version? There are some of multiupload's provider still working!
  4. How can you play such maps without killing the game even half-way into the game? To be honest, I think sins is just too old for this kind of stuff. To be able to run-it, it would have to be able to use more than only one of the cores...
  5. Besides, the hangar for each ship of the same type would all contain the same fighter/s, placed in the same position...
  6. WEll, Tim is a turkish guy who basically stole a lot of modder's work and said he'd do something with-it, which he partially did, but got blamed with reason by a lot of people. He had a forum back in the day and if you tried to criticise any of his work, you'd either loose your message or be bannished. Not to mention his famous "countdowns" to realease that he virtually never respected. On top of that, he tried to get paid for his work on said mod... Basically, not a very appreciated lad. And his mod was considered to be a virus by some anti-virus... Google "KOTF" and you'll see his website. I still go there sometimes to see if he'll ever release his part 2 of his mod
  7. You can do-it! We are behind you Slocket!
  8. There it is! Sorry for the delay, guys. Enjoy! http://www.multiupload.com/XISWL1XIY6
  9. Are you fighting a Cancer?
  10. Damn, now I feel like Tim (see KOTF )! I slept before the upload was complete. It may have had time to upload, but that is not sure. I'll check with the right computer, but it ain't sure. Problem is we lost electricity sometime in the night...
  11. Read-me for small, non-extensive changelog. Rebellion 1.5 Beta is ready, even if not entirely complete. Link ready in 2 hours...
  12. Sacrament! That was a lot of work. All in all, 120 burn pictures done. I had to redo about 60% of them twice to fit the correct pattern. Also, I tought a few of the cards did not look good enough for my taste and I wanted to make at least some of these cards myself, so these are either brand new cards that I did or old ones from me too: Nebulon-B Frigate MC-40a Defender Star Destroyer Viscount Star Defender MC Neb-B2 Dauntless: edited Strike Cruiser Interdictor Carrack VSD Dreadnaught: edited Star Forge Golan Defense Station III XQ2 Station Picket Cruiser Executor class Star Destroyer Next, I'll try to make the correct credit section for the ships: Assault Frigate: Pucho777 ISD: VinBadir Corvette CR-90: Lord la forge/Edited by me Death Star: EW/A'Kula/Edited by me MC-80b: Rebellion Reloaded/Edited by me Home One class: Hal Horn/Edited by me Lancer: Nairb Lots/Edited by me Corvette Marauder: Mylok ASD: Reloaded/Edited by me Al. Escort Carrier - Quasar: EW/JohnMeyer/Edited by me Lucrehulck: VinBadir/Edited by me Corellian Heavy Gunship: EW Gunship DP-20: vanilla CC-7700: vanilla Ah, and there is a slight new: I am very close to a release. First, I need to correct a little blue thing, switch a few chars, perhaps and correct the mine ency pic. But basically, the 2 biggest part are done: galaxy and burnS. I think I'll go ahead and release the beta with the alliance GUI for the moment, because it will take several hours to fix-it. Still, it beats keeping Reloaded's set of colours, in my opinion. Stay tuned!
  13. Yeah, that did-it, thank you, Lavo! Your'e the man!
  14. Z3r0x was pretty good too! Loved his mods on EaW, but never liked EaW itself much, so having his work here's good.
  15. Be sure to look at Darth Tex's thread too. He did a pretty good job on this matter.
  16. Heh, a while back, I was on a forum that had a different method concerning spam. Instead of completely deleting the message, he'd kept the URL's but change them instead to something that redirected to a page with : "Are you lost on the Internet? You are here *." T'was funny
  17. There is 5 red lines in SVN. This is related to textures. First is External failed. The other ones are errors and they seem to indicate that the texture folder is locked. I removed read-only and the error still happens. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi!
  18. There is no North to space, that much is agreed, but it is generally acknowledged that a map in fact has a North. What you see in Rebellion is a representation of the star wars galaxy, so in a way, it is perfectly reasonnable to have North, though that is a matter of subjectivity. Anyway, in the end, I don't recall having kept any north in my sector names. Also, a galaxy is spread on the 3 dimensions, so Rebellion one being in 2D, it is definitely a map and as such, must have a grid system that works with an equivalent of NSEW.
  19. Maybe, but it's longer to write
  20. detailed Burn Status: Home One class: done Corvette Marauder: done Assault Frigate: done Neb-B: done + Changed image Al. Escort Carrier: Done Corvette CR-90: done MC-40a: NY + change image Lucrehulck: NY Gunship DP-20: done (May change image though) Defender Star Destroyer: done CC-7700: done Viscount Star Defender MC: done + changed image MC-80b: NY Neb-B2: Done + changed image Dauntless: done Strike Cruiser: NY + change image Lancer: NY Interdictor: Done + changed image Carrack: done VSD: done (May change image) ISD: done Executor class Star Destroyer: done Corellian Heavy Gunship: done + change image DS: done Picket Cruiser: done Golan Defense Station III: done ASD: done XQ2 Station: done + changed image Star Forge: NY Dreadnaught: done Edit: Darth Tex has completed the last stuff that had to be changed. The Galaxy changes are now as perfect as possible. At least, I hope it is, since I would have to have a fully conquested galaxy to be entirely sure. Edit 2: If I do what I wish to do, that means I have 24 ship burns ready to go and mostly perfect (though I admit I improved my method from when I began doing burns and may wish to re-do them again.) In practice, though, I did some more, which are subject to changes and as such, are not gonna get used in the beta version. That would put the count at 25/30. Roughly, I did work on 160 pics so far and more to come!
  21. Upscale is good. Gigantic Viscount for the win!
  22. That's a good point which I share.
  23. Why, you welcome My alpha version should be available on the big thread that reads Rebellion 1.5, on the first post. I did include the unknown regions myself, because it happens to me to want to roleplay a little and I just love Zahn's work (the Chiss in particular). Also, my own mod was done solely with the Essential Star Wars Atlas, though with the limitation of 20 sectors 200 planets, the choice of planet is entirely subjective. As I've already explained, I went for a sectorial approach: Deep Core, Corporate Sector, Hapes... I think they deserved more focus. However, litterature limitation and geografical restrictions made me couple the Calamari Sector with that of the Centrality.
  24. Windows Vista?/Windows 7 x64 Try these steps: Step one: install Rebellion, as usual, with full install. Step two: download this .exe (courtesy of budious), backup rebexe and replace-it with that one: http://www.mediafire.com/?f79i1flo8p9otm3 Step three: play the game. Step four: report if that worked for you!
  25. I'd rather not e-mail anything, if you don't mind. I've zipped a few utilities and uploaded them to mediafire. That's about all the tutorials I've stumbled upon. Might have missed Vakundok's program, however. Anyway, enjoy. http://www.mediafire.com/?ecxxqv85s4jf2ui And yup, I've worked a lot on this baby. Still am, for that matter. However, the galaxy part is mostly over, with one planet placement (of the 200) that needs to be corrected and possible typo's. Anyway, good luck with your own project. Be sure to test my alpha version, if it is still available. If not, you'll have to wait until beta comes out, which should be... some day
