  3. Hey, welcome to the forums! Glad my project got your attention. It basically is a one man project, even if I had some help here and there, but basically, there is no team. It still happens for me to work on my Rebellion 1.5 mod, but not very often. Feel free to modify what I've done when you get access (I'll upload that someday...).

  15. Okay, I am trying to get the modification done. Problem is some entity are not clear as to what they design. For example, I'd like to modify Mon Cal Heavy Cruiser and MC80 SFRS, but the names don't match: CRUISER_ALLMC80 CRUISER_ALLMC80A CRUISER_ALLMC80LIBERTY CRUISER_ALLMC80MARIA Which one is which?

  17. Lavo, I have not beta tested for very long, but let me tell you this: your mod has evolved very fast and a lot. It is very polished and feels professional. You should be proud of yourself!

  19. I gather we have to do this with read-me program. In what folder do I need to look to find the correct files to modify?
  20. This is already the case. Each faction has at least one of these ships that has auto-join disabled. If you are talking about say, the Mon Cal Heavy Carrier or Botajef, you can turn it off yourself. I refuse to turn off auto-join for every single ship which has these abilities as it would hamper the AI. Could you list which are disabled? And could you tell me how to "turn-it off myself"? Thank you!
  21. I am playing with fleet a lot and this is the feedback I'll have to offer about-it. When there is a fleet attacking a planet, the colonizers generally have a hard time colonizing said planet (and I don't mean because it is attacked by the enemy). The colonizer will seek to join the fleet and combat the enemy (even when the planet is free of opponent and there is no strong culture). Now I usually let my colonizer wait at the next planet before the fleet is wiped out. If it comes out while the battle still rages, it will attempt to join the fleet even though it was ordered to colonize the planet. If the enemy is wiped out and my fleet is prepping for hyperspace (with the colonize order for my colonizer ship), the colonizer will follow the fleet instead of making its duty. These 2 issues causes a lot of micro-management for the player. Also, the same is true of de-miner ship: they can function properly when a fleet is there unless un-ticking auto-join fleet. Proposition: disable auto-join fleet for colonizer and de-miner ships.
  22. As a matter of fact, I did what you said, minus the registry tweak. By now, I was hoping to receive some kind of feedback as to whether it worked on vista/7 64 bit or not. It should. And yup I *cough* uploaded the whole c0mplete 1nstallation.

  24. Well well, there are about 20% I did not get, but from what I tested, man, this is just miraculous, psychoak! The game has never been that stable. I did not get the slightest lag in the first time since my testing SOGE. This is THE best update ever, performance wise. Addendum: Tested this with a heavier map, 63 planets, instead of 20. Usually, it would lag like hell. There was no lag at all! This just made the SOGE mod much more interesting in terms of playability.
  25. With a lot of the hosting sites gone, it would be nice if Evaders99 could organize so that it could be hosted on SWR...
