Wow Tex... you must be ancient!! I personally didnt dress up for halloween this year... but saw plenty of little ones running around dressed up.... and a couple of older people too... i saw a "sexy devil" filling up her car at a gas station on my way home last night..

Yea.. like 15 US dollars a month or something like that.. i think they eventually raised it to 20 dollars slowly so noone would notice.. i dont remember anymore to be honest.... but they kept releasing all these expansion packs (like 3 a year! or so) and it started to get real annoying because you absolutely HAD to buy the expansion so you could go to the new lands with your "buddies" or guild and get the new spells or armor or whatever.. and then the stupid expansion called for greater system specs so you had to upgrade your computer... it just got tiresome.. after a while..

Not really.. both were at one time highly popular mythical creatures, both not thought to exist. Perhaps different circumstances.. but not different topics. I never said bigfoot wasnt sentient, but even so.... to persist that just to hide from the human race you have to be sentient?... cockroaches are a known species yes, but how many times have you seen one?.. and there are THOUSANDS in your house probably more.. (depending on where you live.. its NOT dependent on your living conditions).. stray cats are abundant in my apartment complex.. (only since I hear them at night do i know this) and yet, I've only seen one. and these are all places that we are around ALL THE TIME.. go to the sierras or the rockies.. how many people are there? not very many... we may know of the rockies.. we may have technology that can see them and measure them.. but i can guarantee you not every square mile is watched or even explored to the fullest extent.. hell.. i bet you that there are cave systems above and below ground that we have yet to even discover.... which a non sentient animal could hide in.

I thought that movie was hilarious... not as much a comedy as i thought it would be though.. but it was still funny.

if i may add something.... people were debating the existence of the giant squid only a few years back.. and we were certain it was impossible.. it was only a myth... and now?.. we have specimens measuring up to 10 meters!... maybe its not exactly what some people speculated about or wrote stories about.. but it still exists and we were proven wrong.. my point is.. that we should never discount something outright just because it seems improbable.. i think we owe it to ourselves to be open to the possibility that something exists beyond our comprehension and knowledge... such as bigfoot. dont have to say it exists.. but i would think its at least possible. Its a pretty big feat to talk in certainties.

I figured thats what you were trying to quote... no offense here Tofu, Im just ranting about Family Guy (which i used to love).. that joke is so freakin old.. it was used in an old episode of family guy back in like the 2nd season.. and it was hilarious then.... the first time.. and maybe the second i saw it. but now.. Seth McFarlane (creator of Family Guy) has used it at least twice more in his "new" episodes.. and its just annoying.. the show has lost its edginess and its comedic value... they shouldve left it dead. ... you livin in Canada dude?! i remember when i was living there the only way to go to a doctor was to go to an emergency room and they were packed.. you were guaranteed at least a 2 hr wait...

I think it possibly could exist, no matter how arrogant the human race is.. we have to admit we dont know everything. But, that being said I can't say it definately exists just due to the lack of evidence. However, you will never catch me saying that it doesn't exist. And in my parts its called bigfoot / sasquatch.

The Rama series by Arthur C. Clarke and Gentry Lee are quite good. The first book Rendezvous with Rama is written only by Arthur C. Clarke. But the following three are by both. They are all real good, they are about when humanity encounters a space ship randomly going through our solar system... a PC game was based on the second book.. which is what got me originally interested in the series.
