Well as far as I´ve discovered, the citizens of a planet will give you support if you are succesfull. So for example if you´ll be attacked in the orbit of a friendly planet by an enemy fleet and you withdraw or even loose that battle, than you will loose popularity in the whole sector. The same is for the opposite. If you win ground- or space-battles, you will gain popularity even on enemy systems. You can find the RebEd in the Download-Section. You can find it above in the navigation-panel. If you scroll down the Forum overview you will see a whole section which is dedicated to all the editing-stuff. But like just mentioned, you won´t be able to change the A.I. . So the enemy fleets will still split up on ocassion.

The AI allways withdraws from a space-battle when it´s aware that it can´t win it. The discribed alliance-fleet was rather weak and wouldn´t have had any chance to win. The ties allways start from the hangar-bays of a cruiser. They have to form up first. Untill all fighters of a squadron have started they will commence the attack. Only fighters, which are stationed on a planet, don´t have to do that.

Hello and welcome! I´ve also never played Rebellion online, but as far as I know the most easiest way to play it online is via a hamachi-network. Yes, me too. I´ve found a , which obviously shows the new graphics-engine. And I must say that I like that look. It recambles the look of the first two fallout parts. Yep! Because it´s quite easy for them to use something for which a franchise just exists. So that the success of such a game (or the other way round, the movie for that game) is quite predictable for the studios. It even hasn´t to be a good game. But as long as the kids buy everything without criticism or reading reviews etc.

I was really shocked as I heard this, because it was so unexpected. It´s truly a big loss. He was really a great and very talented actor. I don´t know all of the movies he appeared in, but those in which I saw him he allways did a very good job.

It is! And there´s much more I can´t describe, because it´s just too much. Some games are cult for good reasons. To name just a view features: You can become a slavetrader or a marshal, a boxer, comedian or, yes, even a porn-star. You can have shotguns, colts, light machine-guns, laser- and plasma-weapons. Different types of armour and much much more. But it´s not just about the weapons. There are also lots of crazy NPCs, drugs, robots, mutants, mutant plants, mutant animals (the cows have two heads) and alien. BTW I´ve screwed up one of the links in my post above. Allthough I´m not someone who is regularly playing RPGs I´m waiting for Fallout 3. The first two, especially the second, were just a blast. It´s just so politically uncorrect, full of absurd creatures and places. I´ve enjoyed repairing a nuclear plant, having mutant or robot party-members, wearing power-armour and a mini-gun. Oh, I have to reinstall Fallout 2 again. Oh, btw, here´s the teaser for Fallout 3, which is supposed to have modern 3D graphics. Don´t know how this will work with that kind of game.

First, hello and welcome to the forum! Than this is the wrong section to post in, though lots of our members simply ignore it. I know that´s strange. A SW board where nobody wants to talk about SW, but that´s it. About your question: You could use the RebEditor, which you´ll find in the downloads-section. With this little nice tool you can edit nearly all and everything concerning the game-settings. But it won´t change the AI, sorry. If you´d like to have more infos than just chek the "RebEd-Section". There you´ll maybe find what you are looking for.

Oh, he he, don´t get me wrong. It´s not me who´s from downunder. I´ve just mentioned that some people around here are from there.

As far as I know, Zalmann coolers are pretty good. But there´s one thing you got to keep in mind when changing the cooler, you will loose the guarantee.
