I've obviously been reading about this, but apparently that other bear Knut has grown somewhat since his fluffy little introduction to to the world last year, like Polar Bears do, and is apparently alarmingly large for that keeper who hand-reared him to get as close to these days.. What do you do? Let mum eat them if she rejects them, or act with humane instinct? A hard choice. I have a few photos of Meerkats eating a 'new litter' one morning. It was really a hard choice for Nuremberg Zoo though they disliked the idea to have the same hype with Flocke like the Berlin Zoo had with Knut. After another bear ate both of his babies they had to react as another bear showed disinterest on his baby. Funny thing is that allthough Knut is now nearly as big as an adult bear, he seems to be nicer now like he was as a baby, told his keeper. Well I don´t doubt that for a second. So, Moribundus, also german tongued? I´m impressed. I just wonder how these guys practiced all the time, though thanks to global warming it´s not that cold here anymore. It´s even two years ago since we had snow.

Hello and welcome back! I hope you don´t belong to all these oldtimers who appear for a short "hello I´m back"-message just to disappear again. BTW I´m not a fan of all that beaking.

First I didn´t wanted to attend to that topic. But after reading this I have to add something. Nobody in europe, maybe except of some crazed islamic fundamentalists, wants the downfall of the US-Nation in any kind of way. But some kind of criticism should be allowed. If there are people out there who hate your country than ask why. Maybe it´s not the whole US which they are hating, maybe it´s just the administration. What´s up to me I´m not familiar for what every candidate stands for. Like Moribundus I also wish a peaceloving president. The last terms were a total catastrophy what belongs to international affairs. I would like to wish that the US administrations would stop bossing everyone arround. They don´t like if we interfer in their affairs so they also shouldn´t interfer in ours. If Obama would like to try talking with Syria and Iran, I would say that this could be a very good step forward to a new acceptance in the middle-east, though all that making war through the last years didn´t achieved anything but fat profits for the war- and oil-industry and lots of new young terrorist-recruits for Osama & Co. Back to the discussion about candidates...

Poor animal! So it´s that easy to do something artsy, call it a bridge and name it with some words like "freedom" or "tolerance" and everybody will like it and you will receive a price?!

I tend to say: the more the better. If starting a game you mostly have only one facility on a planet. So the first thing to do is to build a second one asap. That´s what I immedialy do concerning construction facilities. If there´s still space to build something on that planet, than build more asap and as much as possible. If you haven´t got enough space there, start building on another planet. I you´ve got about 4-5 facilities on a planet, the production rate will be highly efficiantly.

There´s a guy who is called an artist and who is living just a couple of meters from my house away, where he also has got his workshop. There are lots of sculptures stored of which you can´t be sure what it looks like. I never considered to call that arts and never believed that there´s anybody who buys his stuff. But yesterday I´ve read the newspapers and it looks like that this guy and his team won a competition for ice-sculptures in Colorado. Yes, that´s what I also can recall. LNR´s destroy corvette class vessels immediately while bombing a planet. Cruiser class ships will get heaviely damaged and/or soon destroyed.

Oh, yeah, these were cars! Rob doesn´t look italian enough? Maybe he should change his Mario-Costume to something more like this. And "Rob" as last name doesn´t sound very italian, isn´t it.

You don´t even have to visit adult sites to get a virus (plural of virus = viruses??) or trojan. Just don´t klick on anything that wants to tell you that you´re computer is infected and you have to do an online-scan or to download a small program which fixes everything again. You can find that crap nearly everywhere.

Maybe they declared neutrality, because their faction lost one or more battles in that sector so their popularity was decreasing. If that happens all of the enemy troops are gone. Maybe they have been killed by the revolting crowd or they just fled and gone to nowhere, though they never arive on another friendly planet.

Yep, I also have that problem. Dunno how to solve that.

A KDY is a good choice if you´ve got some characters on that planet, who are maybe on a research mission. Though those characters you can use for research fe. Ackbar have rather weak fighting-skills, so it makes it much easier for them to escape a blockade. I´m not sure that I really can recall that, but I believe that it also disables ships, so if it comes to a space battle there´s a possibility that one or more ships may be disabled after trying to bombard your planet a couple of times. Correct me if I´m wrong, because I haven´t encountered that much too often in all these years.

Of course there is no progress what belongs to pc games. There are allways the same kind of RTS ala C&C or AoE and stuff. The same is for first person shooters (or ego shooters ). They just advanced in graphics and that´s the only thing where the pc is allways a step further than consoles, because it´s upgradeable. I also would prefer a game like rebellion with a newer interface and graphics, but the companies just got an eye on where to make fast money. That´s because we just get all these lame sequells instead of inovations. But this also will happen soon to console games.

There were toys for that? I liked the look of it, which looked like after an atomic holocaust. Also the computer graphics were outstanding for 1987.
