  8. Yep, so long dude Not mine, but kinda how I imagine he passed the pearly gates: http://www.jimcromwell.com/landfill/evel_knievel_died_today.jpg
  9. I like that K! This is a little something i've been upto at work of late, restoring old pictures from our collection. They sell like hotcakes online. Clicky for big most of the top sellers I was asked to restore
  10. ^^this She wasn't showing any malice, and how could you as a teacher of six and seven year olds, taking on their suggestions for naming a teddy bear. What disgusts me, is apparently my taxes are somehow giving stone age countries like Sudan economic aid. And we wonder where people into far-right politics get their votes from. *Despairs*
  11. Err no, Mike This is a teddy bear, a classroom of six and seven year olds, and a middle-aged woman potentially facing fourty lashes, which in all probability will kill her. Even the head of the Muslim council of the UK on Newsnight last night expressed his absolute disgust to some Sudanese diplomat.
  12. Woo Rob! http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/9805/1188252605/megentasaber.gif
  13. Double post ahoy! Check this out: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7116401.stm And they wonder why we think they're muppets! http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/9805/1196169197/teddy.jpg http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/9805/1196185566/buddhabear.jpg I expect a band of outraged Buddhists will demand I sit in a corner and contemplate my poison against their religion
  14. Good to see fresh blood in the Maw installation, D dude! Been a while: http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/9805/1196025043/ATST.jpg
  15. Just been very, very busy of late Eagle matey; still am! I got a promotion of sorts at work, after giving the IT department some advice concerning some software to use for building an image library to generate money I used at Bigpictures years ago, after their own attempts to build one backfired. I'm the new 'gatekeeper' in charge of uploading new images and most importantly, meter-tagging it with relevant data. It's all up in the air at the moment, but should calm down just after Christmas. Speaking of which, TIME TO GET OUR SEASONAL AVATAR'S OUT BEFORE TO LONG GUYS!! Edit: Mate of mine made this: http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/46786/1196250634/ATATRun.gif
  16. Wow! It's last year again I haven't played Rebel for years and years, but going back a bit through that lot, if you want to encounter Death Stars do what I suggested for a while, though perhaps 100 to construct and 10 to maintain. Then very gradually up the values to say about half of what they normally cost over a good couple of days, and it shouldn't freak out the AI that much; ie: it will build a 'normal' Imperial fleet as well. The game where I discovered two Death Stars was knife edge stuff, especially given I had no idea the AI had actually built a second one until I encountered it by accident. As with the eternal problem of the game though, attack the AI to hard and furiously, and these Death Stars will vanish as the AI scraps them in a panic concerning maintenance. Such is life.
  17. Hahaha
  18. Ah, I detect where you may be comming from. I use Adobe Photoshop, with which comes Image Ready, which pre-CS2 versions was the Adobe tool to make animations. I haven't used Gimp, but I suspect it's optimizing filters simply aren't as good as the tools built in to Adobe's products (I may be completely wrong here, mind) Anyway, I give you: http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/9805/1194989252/TuskenFaders.gif http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/9805/1194985198/TuskenFaders2.gif Tusken Faders, Luke didn't stand a chance if you think about it
  19. http://www.jahled.co.uk/samblinzeltol256.gif There you go, same thing at 100kb. I wonder how you managed to get the file size so large in the first place, given I didn't actually do anything except open it and resave it in Image Ready.. The mysteries of .gifs Save and host it yourself though dude!
  20. At 563.85 kB which is far to huge. Optimize it. Or ask me to give you a hand, though due to a pub, my brain is a bit borked.. But far to large as a sensible avatar fella! I'll try and remember to fire up Image Ready tomorrow morning and hack into a few frames for you
  21. People of a certain age might remember bunking off school to race home and play Manic Miner or Jet Set Willy on the ZX Spectrum.. Seemed terribly advanced at the time There you go *shows age blog*
  22. http://www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/9805/1194809883/poppy.jpg And long may they be honored.
  23. Not a clue, don't actually recall seeing it in the movie, but there you go!
  24. Jesus Christ *looks at dusty Playstation* My PC is so old only Rebellion and Aliens versus Predator work on it
  25. I take issue with this statement Eagle! At 22 life is for being reckless and irresponsible! Though Mith is probably nursing the mother of all hangovers as I type! Happy hang-over Mith! Edit: that Palpy emoticon is brilliant dude
