Conway awoke early the next morning as was his habit. He went over battle reports from various campaigns throughout the vast Imperial territories. Dorja brought him his favorite beverage, ginger ale with a shot of an exotic whiskey. He had dreamt about the funny little mouse during the night, but gave it little attention. He had a planet to conquer. The Zootlings had reported that Zoot was not in his London abode and they were unsure of where else to go. Reluctantly he ordered them to return to the Deathstar empty handed. One Earth thing he did like was their music. He was fond of a band called Iron Maiden and loved the song Number of the Beast. It reminded him of him. There had been no reply to his ultimatum for Earths surrender. Conway was considering two alternatives. Destroy the planet with the superlaser, or a new approach - leave it for now. His officers wanted to destroy the planet as an example but Conway remembered what had happened when Tarkin destroyed Alderaan. Though he also believed in the Tarkin Doctrine Conway realized that this backwards planet was beneath his usual standards. If Zoot had not contacted him he wouldn't have been here in the first place. Without Zoot his plans were faltering. He ordered the Star Destroyers around Earth to bombard selected targets. Maybe that would wake up the governments of Earth. GM Conway
