The more characters you send on a mission the easier it is to detect and destroy. Also without RebED 123 Esp. is good and 142 Leadership is average for Imperials. As for the first mission what were Chewbacca and Page's stats? With 123 Esp. it is very likely that Daala detected the mission and thus captured the two characters. Many times characters get killed when their mission is foiled so be thankful that your characters are still breathing. -Grand Moff Conway

That may be however , after using the tractor beam to bring the Tantive IV into the docking bay the Stormtroopers used a gangway to directly connect to the boarding hatch which they blew out or in. I am not saying that TIE Boarding craft did not exist, I am mearly pointing out that they did not use them in the movie. When Threepio looks back at the Tantive IV from the escape pod you clearly see that there is no space between the docking bay and the captive ship for a TIE sized ship to operate. -Grand Moff Conway

Mad I am not sure what the novelization of Star Wars said, but in the Movie you see the Tantive IV in the docking bay with the ship snug to one side. And you see the hatch blast open and hordes of Stormtroopers come in all at once. With the volume of troops entering it doesn't make sense that they come from a small TIE type of ship. I do not mean to be rude, I am just stating what has always been stated. We could submit the issue to Lucas' Ask the Jedi Council column or write Star Wars Insider for a definate Canon answer I suppose. -Grand Moff Conway

The stormtroopers boarded the Tantive IV directly from the Imperial Star Destroyer as seen in the movie Star Wars. The ship was being held in the docking bay of the star destroyer and the hatch was blasted open. Just watch it again (as I did) to see this. Sorry guys but they did not use some type of boarding TIE. -Grand Moff Conway

As a Grand Moff it will be no surprise that I play as Imperials. My basic fleets are Victory I based with Carracks and Lancers thrown in- Always five Vics and then an Interdictor (which I allow to be built from day 1). The smaller ships are added as necessary. I update the fighters as other more advanced types become available-the best are the TIE Raptors. My battle fleets are based around a Kaiser Class SSD with 2-3 Vic I's, an Interdictor, and others as needed added to the mix. -Grand Moff Conway
