I can't remeber if this question has been asked yet (if it has feel free to lock this topic).

 

What are your plans for ROTS? Spoilers? No Spoilers? Some spoilers?

 

I was looking for a costume to make to wear to C3 (if I go) and I kind of spoiled osme things for myself (even though I do pretty much know what is going to happen), but I saw somethings I hadn't seen yet. I am not sure if I should go ahead and but the book when it comes out on April 2 or try to stay as spoiler free as possible. I am reading Labrynth of Evil right now, and that takes place rigth before ROTS, so.....

 

Just curious on everyones plans

I don't mind the occational spoiler, giving a rough idea of plot/storyline, just so long as there are surprises left when the flick comes out

I'm planning on staying as spoiler-free as I can. I've got a general idea of how events will turn out, but I don't want to know the gritty details. If you know little or nothing about the specifics, you'll walk out of the theater (hopefully) with the word "Wow" or something along those lines, where if you spoil it all for yourself it might simply be "Nice" or "That was good". Then again, that's just me .

It took me years to figure out what the term spoilers ment.

 

But as GAT said above, I think it's reasonably obvious how the movie will progress and turn out... as for details... I reckon one or two glimpes behind the curtain should'nt hurt anyone's enjoyment of the movie.

The bottom line is this: Whilst that link hit me early this afternoon from a mate who's in the internet business and sends me similar stuff often, that quite frankly blew me away! But as we drea nearer and nearer the movie's release date, everything there you are going to see in magazines, trailers, etc. That link; and I did have reservations about posting it, is simply extremely well detailed and all at once, but stuff you'll see before the movie later anyway....

I think it all has to do in the way you order things too. I could take pics from AOTC and if you had never seen the movie I could give you a completly diffrent idea about what happens, all in the way I arrange the order of the pictures.

Well the link is dead now. The images and what you brought out of them yourself will live only in memory until you start seeing stuff in mags and movie trailers(with sound). An afternoon wasn't bad going was it!

This has no spoilers, but it is very funny.

Eh these are the prequels...I already knew ahead of time how things would progress. The only thing that annoys me a little is that in AOTC there was no Vader. I wanted Vader to have appeared earlier..not in the 3rd film.

Anyone remember something from circa 1978 called the Star Wars Poster Magazine? I remember reading in it that Darth Vader had battled and killed Anakin Skywalker but had fallen into lava, which resulted in the injuries that made his suit necessary...

 

Of course, that was before George Lucas decided that Anakin Skywalker was Darth Vader... but it's interesting that the whole lava bath thing was a part of the story (checks calendar) at least 27 years ago.

 

(the "Poster Magazine" also had a very cool photo from the scene where Luke Skywalker was at Toshi Station (check the novel if you don't know what I'm talking about, and no he wasn't picking up power converters) which was not included in the awful modern re-edit)
