OOC: -8 IC: Rjiuvan Shai ignored the questioning and piercing look from the human. Instead he sat in his massive Coral chair. Raising his chin to suggest arrogance he spoke. "We have hurt Shimraa close to his heart, we have chased the Punisher away on two occasions." He paused to add a more dramatical air. "We are in the deepest part of his domains, we have assaulted one of his strongholds; He fears us." With his human hand he activated the blaze bugs, that formed a glowing galactic display. "We cannot allow our own glory to blind us. As long as Shimraa breathes our quest will be incomplete. We will attack another of his jewels, another of his worlds." With a like muffled sound, he ordered the Blaze to reform in a new arrangement. Evan's lips betrayed the name of the world. "Bespin?" "Yes," Rjiuvan's eyes glittered. "The world of clouds."

[Vong_Mode]He has perfectly rendered the beauty of the Yuuzhan Vong biotechnology. His life will be spared when I decide to use a gigadovin basal to pull the moon down and destroy earth. [Vong_Mode] His artwork really looks cool! That Coralskipper... -9

Rjiuvan knew what he had to. He stood tall and brave in the empty hangar, waiting for the valiant Rebel pilots to land their ships. Leading them came General Hechtman. He landed his craft jumped of from the cockpit and walked to meet with the Warmaster. "Your sacrifices today will be honored, General." The Warmaster said loud enough for everyone close to hear. "We will honor it by pursuing our goal, to vanquish the evil responsible for the dath of your comrades." "Thank you," Evan said. The Warmaster then left to contemplate the future course of action. Never before had he seen a lightsaber's blade that close. The Supreme Overlord had brandished the intensely white blade in front of his eyes. The light hurt his eyes, and every fiber in his body ached to shield them, but his body refused to move. Trapped under the Yuuzhan Vong artifcats, Iulan felt nothing. In the moment of his greatest pain and despair the Overlord dared to break the silence that had worn him down for hours and days. "You will be pleased to know that the traitor has driven us away from Hoth." Iulan managed a weak smile and looked at the Overlord. "You cannot escape." The Overlord send a massive fist against him, and he was embraced by darkness again.

I had a problem with the game somehow some of the controls wouldn't work, since a friend had loaned it to me I didn't take time to figure it out...

I had heard that sound before as well, I tried it pretty early on, back when I built DS. Just like Igor I'd rather build Impstar Deuces and lots of nice little TIEs.

OOC: It's been a while, hasn't it? Whatever you're thinking about it, I didn't forget about it, I only had other things to do, and couldn't sit down and write. Sorry. OOC: Antililles is quitting? Why? IC: Warmaster Rjiuvan Shai frowned at the furious exchange of fire from both sides, starfighters evaporated in a last anguished moment, coral incinerated and exploded in the blackness of space. The Punisher, true to its tactics remained in the middle of the enemy formation without moving. By holding still it avoided betrating any of the nervousness they had to be feeling. Rjiuvan's warfleet had scored a psychological blow. A so numerous warfleet so deep in the Yuuzhan Vong territory was a certain scare. Rjiuvan still looked at the battle, he knew that if he stayed longer his fleet would be decimated, as did the Yuuzhan Vong. Rjiuvan's fleet wasted energy and precious time in a serious of difficult maneuvers to shield themselves, and to reduce the damage, while incresing the damage done to their enemies. In his display, Rjiuvan saw one more of the General's men die. A battle will not be won by the blood spilled. That he had learned with Iulan. Should he retreat, should he withdraw, or should he press further, hoping that his determination scared the Yuuzhan Vong into a withdrawal. He had no time for making the choice as the human's general's voice cut through his thought. "Warmaster." Came the static-laden voice. "They are fleeing, the asteroids are exploding to cover their exit." Rjiuvan smiled and breathed lightly. He had won.

There's some kind of bug that prevents in-forum linking. It would be better if you specified the Forum where that is.

You can buy in Ebay even if you don't have a CC, it's just a matter of patience, try contacting the seller if he accepts payment in a nonCC way.

My big beef with Rebellion: Just who picked the ships?
Trejiuvanat replied to Texas_Fett's topic in General Discussion
I think one of the CCs made an appearance in one book, but yes there is no information on those ship classes. -
Mask yo should work up a texturing tutorial, there's a particular Costa Rican member, that's learning to use 3D Studio and might think about converting some models... And some pointers would really help.

The Farlander Papers & The Stele Chronicles
Trejiuvanat replied to Texas_Fett's topic in General Discussion
I think it was La Forge who found it, I only identified it as one of the DArk Horse artists. Stele's story in TIE Fighter tells what the Empire was up too between the Battle of Hoth and the Battle for Endor. The betrayal of Zaarin and the promotion of Thrawn. Farlander's story takes place before Yavin and even stretches a bit after it. The early battles of the Rebels. It's a pity that LEC decided to abandon the stories and altogether to concept of combat flight sims in the X-W series style... Yet one more reason to storm Skywalker Ranch -
It may happen it may not, the Imperial player will know if the HQ is on one of the colonized planets. No, I haven't played any of your scenarios. And don't add to many colonized worlds, it will slow it a bit, the AI isn't particularly smart it may win one world or two by diplomacy, if you give it some world give it entire sectors so the domino-effect will kick in. Otherwise it's pretty lame.

I just need to rob a bank to finance my studies. I'm hoping to get some help from friends of my parents, and perhaps even get a part-time job for three months, to help me finance it. Most likely my parents wil be helping me out... Perhaps the difference is that the IH 35 doesn't cross halfway to the Cordillera, with nasty fog and nastier bus drivers. Every year almost two dozen people die during this mass pilgramation, because of stupid drivers. Outside Interests, it's somewhere in the middle of the list. I suppose it's really not necessary for me to say, that basically everyone in this parts has a strong dislike for the US, especially for their military. It's not just the Maras, all social Strata dislike them. Of course it's really wrong what the Maras do, but in some way they are victims of the circumstances, they aren't particular smart, that's true. They seem more like frightened animals, the real essence of a subculture based on fear. They act that way against anything they might consider a threat.

Prob is that if the HQ appears in a colonized world the popular support weill be 50-50. So you'll have the Rebel HW on a planet with STRONG Imperial support.

April April, my friends. Nobody else did what before? Build a Falcon in his backyard???

PErsonally, I don't think they'd ever control it. That girl was probably just a scare, and sure a big bust in China, but what about Thailand, Argentina, Brazil, Rusia... the world's too big for the lawsuits...

I'm hoping to be back in Germany for Fall this year, hopefully starting my studies in a German Uni... It's pretty uncontrollable, as are the mass "pilgrimations" to the beach during "Holy Week". If you ever need some pointer (as if you'd need them) you might want to take a look at the "how to kill Harry Potter" Thread... You'll not only find them there, they've strecthed from Southern México down to Nicaragua. That's really nasty, all tatooed (they make Darth Maul seem insignificant), most of them having problems with drugs. They kill each other in considerable number... Not pretty. And no ones does anything for that...

I don't I've ever bought a Music CD, all the ones I own were gifts. Most of my music comes from the Net. Targetting 14 year olds? Someone's got a bolt lose in the U.S., I know people that have about 4000 MP3 at home and most likely won't be prosecuted... As a funny fact for you: Blockbuster closed on Costa Rica, because they simply couldn't compete with other rentals that relied on piracy, nor with the street salers that sell copied PS Games at $1 each...

Damn... Must be Hutts, they are immune to it... Oh well! Perhaps landing the Slave One on top of them might convince them.. .

Good. We'll get the post count up. Repeat after me: We'll get the post count up. We'll get the post count up. We'll get the post count up...

Never been to Rheinland-Pfalz, it still sounds fun... I wouldn't recommend watching too much Spongebob. Quoting from a Costa Rican comedian group: "It's said that TV makes you stupid. It happened to us." Obviously you've never been to one of the big Central American cities, a friday about 5-6 pm... You should start practicing, we'll be sending you a life-size Jar-Jar doll and some weapons for you next week. As will I with my Yuuzhan Vong friends. You're lucky to have been there for the rainy season. You might have gotten Dengue during the dry season. Sure rain can be pretty boring... I'm told Hondurans have some pretty nasty Guerrila groups too, probably Nicaraguans too. The real prob this times aren't Guerrillas but rather the maras, a really violent group of teenage gangs... Jurassic Park? They did a pretty good job in giving the WRONG impression about Costa Rica. Placing my capital in the beach, will they???
