  1. Begun these Clone Wars have... BTW, LLF, do you and your "brothers" get group discounts???
  2. Check behind your ears, it was there the last time I checked.
  3. I use my laptop now, but my old Celeron 400Mhz, 96 MB RAM and 12 GB HDD is cathcing dust next to me, not too mention it is running (crashing) Win ME. And it still does have some games installed (Rebellion, Dark Force, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Age 2)... And they run... More or less...

Hm... Nice features, but I don't like the style. That's my problem with the Nokia phones they don't look like phones at all.

  6. PC...
  7. I have three kitties starting to purr happily as they learnt of Zoot's return. Mad, you fool. You have doomed us all. Trej takes his amphistaff, lightsaber, and kitty krunchies and goes to hide into his closet. "Will not open cans of Fosters." "Will not open cans of Fosters." "Will not open cans of Fosters." "Will not open cans of Fosters."

New? Here in Costa Rica, what you call new will arrive in a thousand years or so. Or until all crisis from the autonomous institutions that control the monopoly of telecoms are dealt with. I own a Sony Ericsson T100, rather old and used and am wanting to change it. I'd got either for a Nokia or a Siemens. Of course with all the new little features... Of course there are some rather "weird" features and accesories. Like a R/C car for a Sony Ericsson k700 (Don't have the link at the moment, but its in their product page).
  10. This probably is the place where I should say I don't have an Xbox, and don't have the money to buy one.
  11. There are at least some five pages of a Zoot War in here, and other with Scath's: You have completely lost it posts... And some Epic discussion with SOCL about ranks, and insignias...
  12. Actually the Alliance cleared most of the falling debris. Or at least that's what the guy that wrote the SWTC wrote in some LFL authorized book. Poor guys...
  13. "Grand Admiral, they are gone!" Onolovav yelled in relief. "Captain?" Oreton answered in a confused tone. "The moon-debris, gone. As if it had been swallowed by blackholes." The Yagai officer answered, his gestures underlined the surprise. "The Rapora fleet is breaking up," Oreton noted as he focused on the hologram. "And their flagship is having some partial loss of power," he commented as parts of the Vareme Cruiser started to turn black. Even some of the engines lost their power. "Grand Admiral," Eressa's voice came through the amplifier. "The Rapora warships have broken their formation, they are chasing a starfighter." Oreton zoomed the image on the holoprojector. Truly a starfighter of Sekotan design was maneuvering past ships of all sizes, vaping Raporan starfighters and simply annoying the Rapora. "Record this footage and try to open a channel to the Jedi," he said to one of the Lieutenants. "Captain, signal to all units. Prepare to retreat. Omega signal for the Bakura evacuation groups." The combined Imperial-UDA Fleet began to maneuver away from the Rapora fleet and set up towards the Unknown Regions. A subdued sniff that might have gone unnoticed in the bridge of a Star Destroyer, attracted the Admiral's attention. "It is hard to leave a world behind, Senator. Knowing that it will be taken away and that it cannot be recovered." Oreton said. Malinza Thanas said nothing and continued to watch the blue green sphere from the bridge. "At least we managed to escape." Oreton smiled at her sharing her pain. "No contact with the Sekotan starfighter. We are in position for the hyperjump." Oreton looked at Malinza who was joined by two other human Senator from Bakura and nodded to his captain. "Enter hyperspace." ***** The Force was boiling. Vibrating pulsations of energy surrounded him, but they were dark and sinister fueled only by evil. The Timeless One was manifesting his power again. In every single Rapora, Ulan felt an echo, a resonance of that same sinister motivations, as if the Raporan warriors were solely extensions of the twisted mind of Palpatine. Ulan pushed harder his awareness. To do so would uncover him in the eyes of the Rapora, and he would become an undeniably bright spot that the Timeless One would detect. As Ulan did so, he found out he had been pushed to a second plane, another presence in the Force had come. Powerful, was the only word that came to Ulan's mind. All the attention of the Rapora was fixed upon that single presence. The Vong Jedi shrunk back in the Force, there was no need for him to take the risk. Even if the other Jedi was keeping them busy, it would not be like that forever. Unlike what was expected of his species, Ulan finished his voyage in complete stealth. Not a Rapora warrior found him, not one of them spotted him. Ulan doubted that even if he had been seen the warrior would have acted by himself. Not with the will of the Timeless One pushing them to hunt down the other presence. At last the Jedi stood before the metallic heart of the Raporan cruiser. Well, it was not the heart. As any other cruiser of that massive size, it could not possibly function without several huge powergenerators scattered all over the ship. It was one of many, but also it was one of the few linked directly to the engines. Whatever his expectations were, Ulan was suddenly suprised not to find any Rapora there, a crew of droids were the only occupants of the room. The only ones concerned with the routinary obligations of an engineer. Without much consideration, the Jedi used his weapon to open the metal door. The droids paid no heed to the intruder, and besides a flashing red light Ulan saw no sign of alarm. Impulsively, yet calculating the Jedi started to cut down diverse machines and consoles. The damage that would be dealt would be minimal by comparison, but it would be enough. As machines went unattended by the fallen battledroids, a wailing siren quietly began to resound in the room. Deeming the time to be proper for an escape Ulan began to withdraw. His exit was suddenly cut out by a rolling object, dark and brown. The metallic thuds revealed its nature, and he rememberd some few comments about it. A Droide'kar droid rolled towards him and unpacked opening fire with its plasma weapons. Ulan dropped to the floor and rolled to his right as the plasma melted the panels and machinery behind him. Never having interacted much with droids, Ulan did not know the full extents of its capacities, yet wondered at the wisdom of deploying an armed combatant into a power generator. The droid, despite Ulan's misgiving did have a restrictive programming, it could not deploy its more powerful missiles, not could it make use of fully powered plasma arms. Instead the plasma shooters, were only powered to a half. In the ample room of the power generator, the deadly droid pursued the agile Jedi. Unable to hide effectively from the droid, the Yuuzhan Vong preferred continuous movement, evaluating the splitsecond responses of the droid, where the mechanic attacker would hestitate to employ its weapons. The Yuuzhan Vong paralyzed before one of the power conduits, the droid -he knew- would prepare its arms and let out a very down powered blast, whilst it did so it stopped on one the power output on the opposite side. In the fraction of a heartbeat that the droid fired its bolt, the Yuuzhan Vong launched his lightsaber, in a perfectly guided arc to cut through one of the power conduits that fed the output. One plasma bolt hit the Yuuzhan Vong in the chest, it burned, the pain was terrible but nothing a real Yuuzhan vong should not be able to withstand. The droid on the other side of the room, was overloaded. Dark smoke started to appear before it exploded. When it blew up, the light dimmed on the room, flashed back and finally surrendered to an englobing darkness. Ulan called the saber back to his hand started walking back the path he had taken. The pain on his chest subdued as he allowed himself to draw on the Force. In complete darkness the Vong Jedi walked without a clear direction on the Raporan Cruiser. After another eternal minutes the Yuuzhan Vong found himself at one of the disabled hangars. Debris had fallen and crushed some of the vehicles, other could not leave because of the metal pieces blocking their exits. As Ulanchecked them out in silence. He found none that would serve him. The difference to the Raporan physionomy made it impossible to crew on of the one man ships. He was about to give up hope on escape when he found something that felt completely out-of-place. A small sail-ship. Eager the Yuuzhan Vong stepped inside, the ship would not be able to run as fast as required to escape. But Ulan knew that remaining there translated into death. In matter of seconds the gold-black ship existed the hangar, unnoticed. Unperturbed. Only as the golden sails extended did Ulan perceive that the Timeless One's attention fell on him. You cannot escape, Ulan Shai. You will not escape. Your destiny will bring you to my feet again. And when you do, do not expect me to be forgiving. When we meet again, you will die. Run, Vong, run. Every star you set between the two of us, will fall into my grasp. "Listen to him, Ulan, listen to his lies. You have seen him weakened, you made him fall to his knees. He cannot tempt you now, you have seen that he fears and hates." Trej Ocas said, without manifesting himself in the ghostly shapes. The Vong Jedi pushed both presences away. He tried to touch the brilliant presence in the battlefield, for a splitsecond before he entered hyperspace. **** The system had no name, except for a dying star and a set of coordinates. Still, it went into the logs of the Imperious, as a necessary rendezvous point. And as a parting point. The Bakuran evacuees regrouped with their escort and prepared to move towards the destination, Oreton had proposed for them. An uninhabited system, similar to Bakura, but that did not figure in official charts. Oreton and Eressa failed to convince Malinza to join the UDA, her talents and spirit, she argued would be needed among her people. But that if things turned to worse, that she, just like her mother would step forward and help their allies. Eressa Veras joined Oreton on the return trip to Valhallanea, the two of them joined by Onolovav and some other senior officer review the battle. All of them relieved, as they all realized that Bakura would have been their grave had it not been because of the appearance of that mysterious Jedi.
  14. I'm on screen Three......
  15. 6) I'm just as lazy as you. 3) Aren't the weapons graphic in the Tactical DLL? At least the Shields, Grav-wells and explosions are.
  16. I'll have Ulan somehow breakfree, and prepare for Ord Mantell... Having killed 30 warriors, makes him somewhat necessary to every ground campaign... And I fear we'll get to see those Beast Regiment from your TC... And I have the feeling it willnot look good.
  17. OOC: Since when did Padme have blue eyes??? "Sir," the Yagai captain noted and pointed vaguely at the holo. "The moon is falling apart." The captain insisted as he dragged the Grand Admiral to the holo. Oreton watched the holo carefully, huge chunks, about the size of asteroids were sent off to space, cooly controlled, moving towards the GFFA fleet. Starfighters and cruisers of all sizes were hit by the barrage, of rocky fragments of moon. Through the comm, Oreton listened to the dying screams of Alliance captains. "We are detecting a enorm amount of fragments coming at us," one of the Lieutenants reported. "Move us closer to the Raporan Fleet, once the asteroids will be sure to hit, activate the Phasing Cloak, after they passed through us, use tractor beams and gravity generators to push them away. Captain, find out what is moving those bits. And what caused the moon to fall apart!". Onolovav rechecked the sensors. "Nothing, sir. They just do, there are no signs of technology. I might say they are moved by the Force." "I have met Jedi, captain and have seen them take great pains to move boulders of the size of a Hutt. Who in the galaxy would have the power to dismantle a moon and control every piece of debris and send them in such a controlled way." *** Armed with a lightsaber Ulan runned through the endless corridors of the Vareme Supercruiser. It was noteworthy that the Cruiser was not as crowded as he believed it to be, in an analogue cruiser by the Yuuzhan Vong the ship would have been swarming with warriors. Instead the corridors were relatively empty. Proof of that was that the Jeedai Vong could walk among the corridor without encountering any other warriors for entire minutes. As he moved closer to the hangar, he perceived a presence behind him. The training of the Yuuzhan Vong warrior kicked in, Ulan ignited his lightsaber and waited for the Rapora to jump on him. But it was not one warrior, half a dozen of them stood still preparing to assault the Yuuzhan Vong. Two of the Raporan warrior broke from the group and rushed past Ulan, one on each side. The other four stepped closer to the massive warrior. the corridor became infinitely more crowded for the valiant Jedi. "The Force is with you Ulan." Trej Ocas said. Small pack hunters. Ulan decided. One of the Rapora, jumped from behind him, Ulan half turned to his right and launched a clear diagonal cut through the blur in air that was the Raporan warrior. Its long tail fell on the floor with a thud. The Rapora warrior let out a grunt of pain but remained on the floor, unable to stand up. Five. Ulan thought for himself. Two other warrior jumped over him, but the Jedi dropped on the floor making the warriors jump past him. In the split second they turned back to face the Jedi a powerful kick of the Yuuzhan Vong sent them crashing towards the dark brown metal wall. One warrior still at his back and two in front of him ignited their blades. In perfect coordintation they began to jump around the Yuuzhan Vong faster than he could detect them. His instincts burned with a warning and the Vong raised his blade to parry on of the slashes by the small -sized warrior. Blades crashed again and again. With the Force Ulan pushed away the two other warriors as they leapt in the air, while he continued to block the furious slashes of the small warrior. A direct impact hit the ship and sent the quartet of fighting figures rolling in every direction. The Vong recovered first and threw his blade to cut the leader of the group in half. By then the two others warriors jumped at him. One of them hit the Vong so hard that made him fall, the Vong extended his arms and grabbed the Rapora by the neck. The Rapora clawed into the flesh of the Vong as it writhed in agony. Finally the last of the warriors came with his blade ignited in a mad drive, calling the lightsaber to him, Ulan's longer blade drove past the body of the Rapora. The only surviving Rapora that lay on the floor looked with awe and terror at the Yuuzhan Vong. Ulan looked at him benevolently, and turned away rushing towards the hangar. Then stopped, halfway through the corridor. If he continued his path, more warriors would be thrown at him. More and more warriors would die by his hands, and even so he would not escape. And as he regained the perspective on the battle around him, he knew that his escape was the least of worries. HE had seen the powers of the Timeless One, and had seen that he could be distracted, rendered vulnerable because of his human shape. "You must choose now, Ulan Shai." "I have, master Ocas. I have." Ulan answered as he raced back to the fallen warrior. The Rapora lay there unmoving. "Warrior," Ulan said. "Have you come back to finish your massacre, Vong?" "No," Ulan answered as he lifted the smaller warrior in his arms. "Guide me to the engines of this ship." "I see no reason to do so, Vong. What can I still lose to you? You have killed me. I will not be able to stand, nor fight. We are warriors, and only that. Could you fight without an arm, or a leg?" "My race once did, not long ago. We offered ourselves to the Gods, and grew replacements in return." Ulan said principally to himself, he had seen the scars and the replaced limbs of the older Yuuzhan Vong. "I serve the Timeless One, Vong. Not your Gods." The Rapora spat back at the Jedi. "May the Force be with you, warrior." Ulan said as he let the Rapora on the floor and turned away. "Vong." A voice echoed through the empty corridors. Ulan turned to see the warrior trying to climb back to his feet. "Follow this corridor until its end, where you will find a dual spiral stair case. Take your right and go down, you will come to the machine section." Ulan started to run towards the warrior. "I have told you what you need, because it is my pleasure. I will not ask you to return me my tail in return, and I will accept death, if it is meant for me." Ulan nodded and rushed towards the Engineering section, hoping to find there a way to distract the Timeless One, long enough for the Galactic Alliance and the Imperial Forces to believe in a possibility of survival. OOC: One more post and I could close the Ulan part of this battle, Oreton of course depends on how long he can live. Stellar, Darkie, Mad your turn.
  18. If you look closely at the picture, you'll see that the three lower right squares are yellow.
  19. Does that mean we'll get a ground campaign as well?
  20. OOC: Hope you don't mind Stellar, but I will destroy one Replicator with one shot. The Rapora were there. Three full fleets, every single one of them with a fully functional Replicator. In addition there was one of the Raporan supercruiser, and countless Kar Lur cruisers and Savla Cruisers. Everything less than that was, by comparison, a nuisanance. "Priorities are priorities," Oreton said. "Fire on the nearest Replicator have the phasing cloak standing by. Lieutenant Deran we are counting on your one in a zillion shots for the occasion. Communications put the call for evacuation for the Bakuran government. Are we close enough to the planet?" "We should not be able to enter hyperspace, if you mean that." Onolovav responded smugly. "Admiral Oreton, use your superlaser and stop those Replicators! We're all going to be space dust if those things can fire!" The voice of the Alliance Supreme Commander came through as a green flash left from the tip of the super laser. The beam touched the barimetric center of the Replicator. And for a single blink of an eye, both monster vessels were united by a luminious thread. The next eyeblink, the thread was severed, and one Replicator exploded in a bizarre display of fireworks. "Congratulations, Lieutenant. Abort superlaser reloading, instead prepare phasing cloak. Captain, take us closer to Replicator Besh. Engage Hyperspace." The entire UDA Imperial formation entered hyperspace. And reappeared within klicks of the second Rapora group. That had been a maneuver Oreton had devised in the face of desperation. With the help of an army of Bakuran engineers, he had mounted their lastest version of Hyperwave Inertial Momentum Sustainers. Thus able to jump into hyperspace, despite the presence of such an overwhelming hypermass. Barely a klick away, the Imperious engaged one Kar Lur cruiser, one of the colossal Vareme cruisers hung well behind. "Open fire all batteries on the port side, starboard batteries stand by for rotation. Telemetry, standard code of priorities. All wings launch." "Grand Admiral, Admiral Evahe Litok." Onolovav reported, as the holo of the other Admiral appeared on a palm-sized holo tranceiver. "An excellent shot, and an intriguing maneuver, what is your plan?" "There is no fool-proof way of engaging a Replicator, Admiral. Much less two of them. The Ackbar Slash, performs aptly for the first few minutes, then it is only an elaborate way to commit suicide. "Captain, signal to the Delta-Missileboats to concentrate fire on the Supercruisers. Have the Clawcraft cover them." Oreton focused again on the holo of the Alliance Admiral. "I cannot use the Superlaser again, and I cannot take the two Replicators, Evahe. Bakura has begun their evacuation. Oreton out." "Deltas report losses, but confirm damage to the Cruiser's port side." One of the youthful officers on the pit reported. "We can always use the Zsinj Package," Onolovav suggested. "Not yet, open a channel to Commodore Veras." Oreton said as he jumped to the communications console. "Veras." "Commodore, your group will break their Savla formation. Use the shield modulation sensor." "What if the Supercruiser engages us? There will be little time for remodulation." "It won't, Imperious will have their attention." Oreton answered. In the holo he analyzed the development. Eressa's five ship group would drive themselves and break the formation of Savla Cruisers. The Vareme which hung back behind the Kar Lur offensive wall, was not much of a threat at the moment. Once either the Savla formation of the Kar Lur group reformed, the Supercruiser would become the greatest threat. The Replicator of that fleet, only hung there, waiting. Thought it could do what it had done at Fondor and hyper out and back to attack the UDA from behind. Oreton knew it would not. Unlike the UDA fleet it could not possibly escape the gravitic influence of Bakura and its twin moons. "Confirmed destruction of Star Destroyer Renown." Onolovav reported. "The Rapora are preparing a pincer on us." "Concentrate fire on the Kar Lur at Seventeen-Sixty-Eight. Signal to the Vanguard group to cover our position. Redoubt group engage starfighters at their discretion, priority protocol Aleph. Bombs first, everything else after that. Have one of the Claw Missile boats join them." The bridge was rocked by a gigantic impact. "Captain!" "Direct hit on the lower tower section, shields at eight percent. Shall we begin rotation?" "We can still hold a few more shots, begin rotation when shield are at forty." ***** The battle was a blur of ships and fire sprayed across the black space. A black sinister laught erupted from behind him. "The galaxy is populated by faithless fools, Ulan Shai. The human Admiral Oreton believes moons and planets can stop me. The uiniverse is bound by the Force, and is thus under my control. Watch young warrior." Ulan watched in awe as the Timeless One move towards the main viewport of the bridge and extended his arm. For a second nothing happened, then Ulan spotted what Palpatine was doing. The moon was moving. It was not a steady move, sometimes slow or faster, but it was moving. ***** "SIR, the moon. The moon is moving!", the officer shouted across the bridge. Impossible, Oreton wanted to answer, but the sensors did not lie. The moon was moving. "What in the name of the Force?" Onolovav asked. As the moon became larger. "Continue fighting," Oreton ordered. **** The moon had stopped, it had not stopped because of Palpatine's will. It had stopped because he had been distracted. Pushed to the ground by the weight of a massive Yuuzhan Vong Jedi. A hiss was the only reply Ulan received, as he fell on the floor dragging the dark lord with him. As he saw his face, Ulan spotted the yellow eyes, and the white wrinkled skin. Sick and devoid of life, victim of his own power. "I see now your power, Timeless One." Ulan said, as the image of the younger human started to resurface on the face of the evil overlord. "You power consumes you, the more you wield it, the more energy it takes from you. It damages your body, irreversibly." "My power is beyond your limits, Jedi." The dark Lord snarled as he extended his hand to let blue lightning erupt from his fingers. But the Jeedai Vong was more agile than Palpatine's human body. In a flash of a second the Jedi had jumped seven meters to the dark lord's throne and retaken the Jedi's only prize. The lightsaber. "A lightsaber will challenge my power?" Palpatine asked and the Jedi did not bother to answer. He had already begun to run away. He knew what he had to do.
  21. Grand Admiral Baros Oreton In our turbulent time, with war threatening to encompass the entire galaxy once again, people have begun to turn to their leaders. In the sector of space occupied by the remnants of the Empire, their citizens are still in shock of the hard begin of the war. Millions dead, billions forced into hiding, and entire worlds annihilated, among this pessimistic panorama one name has managed to keep up the hopes of the Imperial Remnant. A brilliant tactician by the name of Baros Oreton. The story of this Grand Admiral is intertwined with many events of galactic relevance, and only exhaustive research has helped uncover most of it. Popularly referred by many as the “Lucky Admiralâ€
  22. I didn't see you arrive. Sorry, I'll post later.
  23. Incubus - Megalomaniac
  24. Yeah, but Lucas will rubbish it again as he is the ultimate source on Star Wars. He did say that most stormies are clones. In Episode III I'll agree that all clone/stormtroopers are clones, they all come from Kamino and are genetic children from Jango. After 18-20 years, one would expect the Empire to have begun recruiting and conscribing lots of folks into their armed forces. Officers and the like are not clones, and people like Luke were eager to go to the Academy, and come out as a pilot or as a clone or even as a Rebel..
  25. Emperor deifnitely. Mace challenges Palpy. Anakin intercedes and kills Mace. There will be 11 worlds in the movie. Tatooine won't have much presence only the Kenobi scene at the end. I don't think we'll be seeing Bespin in E III.
