  1. F1-F12 switches the perspective to that of the lead ship of every taskforce (fighter squadron).
  2. (I had voted but not posted... heheheh)... I'll side with Krytos on this, I have nothing against the people who would name his kid Thrawn or Roganda, or the folks that parade around in Stormie uniforms, but I wouldn't do any of those.
  3. Yep he looks evil, I would have stucked with Sebastian Shaw.
  4. No, after 2K you get to make up your own rank and keep it until the end of time...
  5. Thanks, Imperator... (Less than 800 for 5K)...
  6. You are seeing things, guys...
  7. And you'll enjoy it no doubt... The angrier you become the stronger Ulan does... Ummm that does not make much sense , but once it is spread over a few paragraphs it will...
  8. Go and post, right now I'm fighting Impossible Integrals and Terrible Derivatives... Then I'll come and have Ulan do something more ... Of course he cannot do it alone, and will have some sort of help.
  9. I find that "opinion" to be foolish. But he has the right to express it.
  10. I find that the magic wand can help to clear a lot of the Background, but specially when turning Jpeg for cards it turn to be a bit more difficult. You can always a hard pixel-sized eraser to clear up the tricky parts. (Hair, tentacles, alien proboscis) and a larger hard brush to ease the rest, it does not take long.
  11. In the hangar twenty-four warriors and another dozen of droids had been waiting for him. Behind them two dark Jedi. He had opened the canopy and jumped down. One of the dark Jedi had neared him, examined his face and spat on it. Ulan, like a rock, would not move, not react to senseless taunts. The saliva would slide off his face, and it would end. With the butt of his lightsaber the Sith had hit him in the lower torax, it had hurt, but he had known pain since birth. He was Yuuzhan Vong. The other dark warrior had come closer, from his movements, from his posture Ulan could judge he was weaker. Short in size, observative eyes, he matched more the profile of a pilot than the one of a warrior. The lightsaber that hung from his belt was possibly one symbol, without a real utility. The leader of the two dark Jedi grabbed Ulan's lightsaber from his belt. He examined it, and ignited it. A dark green blade hissed to existence. The man felt the handle of the lightsaber as he did some short moves. "A master-piece, Jedi. Elegant, but powerful, so artistically built into a coral handle. What is your name," he asked as he deactivated the blade and put the handle before Ulan's face. "Ulan Domain Shai, Knight of the Jedi Order, servant of Yun-Yuuzhan." "I am Darth Fury. Today your fate lies in my hand, if you are ready to help me, you will find your permanence here rather pleasant, if not. You will long for death." "I am a servant of the Force, not of its shadows." Fury shrieked, ignited the blade and jumped into the air. With a heartless anger he dove the blade exactly into the "heart" of the Sekotian craft. Ulan felt its pain. As did Fury, whose smile grew bigger the more his craft suffered. "Yuuzhan Vong believe they know pain, I will teach you about pain", with Ulan's lightsaber sstill in his right hand he took his own saber with his left and drove it again into the coral body of Ulan's fighter. Another spasm of pain. Ulan could not restrain his anger at the coldless way Fury attacked the vehicle. The fighter that had refused to open fire on the Raporan fighters. Trust the Force, he thought he heard but he would not stop to listen, within an eyeblink Ulan had jumped a meter ahead and tackled Fury in the chest. Using the Force he called Fury's apprentice lightsaber to him and ignited it. He ducked and rolled to his right, as he rose he made a long hack that sliced through two of the metal carcasses of the droids. Of a sudden Raporan warriors with their own variety of lightsaber designs prepared to jump on him. The Yuuzhan Vong, roughly twice the size of the Rapora, parried their slashes with his own blade as Fury regained his footing and with two blades ignited he waited. Ulan backed off against a wall, from behind a Rapora set to jump on his back, Ulan felt its presence and jumped high to one of the ledges. The Rapora followed his jump and the trim ledge he fought off three other warriors, that fell to the grounds in varioius members. From the ledge, he jumped onto his own fighter. The agile Rapora caught up with his jump in another few milliseconds and surrounded him again. One of them, a Rapora with a few scars on his face jumped on Ulan and drove on of his claws in his body, but the Jedi felt nothing but a sting. With the Rapora's face millimeters away from his own. Ulan hit it with a headbutt and as it dropped on the ground he drove the blade through its head. The droids, would not fire as the Rapora warriors were to close to Ulan and waited for the next few minutes as the Yuuzhan Vong finished off the Rapora warriors. When the last Rapora died with a final exhalation the Droide'kar droids rolled to position and unlocked their weaponry. A bleeding and hurt Ulan froze into a a blocking stance to try and catch the blaster bolts. Darth Fury still watched the blades crossed as an X in front of his body. "You have proven your worth, Vong. You come from a race of warriors, as one you must embrace the aggressiveness, the anger that will strengthen you. Only your hatred could save you now." "I have faith in the Force, I am Jedi." "Fool." Ulan locked his eyes with Fury and then shifted his gaze to the droids, Darth Vengeance, Fury's apprentice jumped Ulan who pulled him to the ground and drove his elbow on his chest. Ulan knew that in that single splitsecond the droids could blast him out of existence. Instead in a blinding flash, Fury jumped and ignited the blade. A scream of agony was heard. "This happens to failures," Fury murmured as he shutdown his blade, that had penetrated Vengeance's body. "Be mindful, Ulan Shai, that you killed my apprentice. And that it is your destiny to replace him." "I only took the lives of those that threatened me," Ulan answered as he dropped VEngeance's lightsaber on the ground. "You know what is true, warrior. You will know what you are." Fury said smugly. "I will not join you," Ulan said without conviction and dropped on the floor. Alone in his cell Ulan Shai allowed himself to recline his back on the cold metal wall. In the pale metal plate he saw a twisted reflection of himself, covered in blood. The blood of his veins, and the blood of his enemies splashed over his face. Could he now trust himself fully to the Force, after having done what he did. Time would tell, but with every second he felt a growing darker presence around him.
  12. Kaja drop the tone. And Jahled, try to sound less angry when you post, and keep from emitting judgement. Catholics, too, have rights to express what they think.
  13. 2000 Thousand? Perhaps I should delete some few hundred of you posts... Congrats, Mad. Pick your rank and welcome to the Spammers Elite...
  14. In Costa Rica there was a reporter who had a radio show in which he denounced corruption of public figures (politicians, church, etc) he had previously investigated. He spoke his opinion about it, and parodied them. He was murdered by paid assassins. Last year December, another reporter linked to this same case was murdered. Her murder was most likely perpetrated by the ones who killed the guy above. Justice has been delayed for about two years. Members of the band of assassins were captured and are sitting in jail (preventive prison, there has not been a trial yet), but their leader who knew who had paid them, died during a foiled bank robbery. Two public figures are tacticly linked to the murder and are sittting in preventive prison, but there has not been a confirmation... Jahled, I think you are being a bit harsh on the Muslim people. There are extremists there just as there are extremists in our "liberal" western "democracy", and there is a lack of brains here just as there is a lack of brains there. Sure there are assholes, like Bin-Laden, Hussein, the folk in Sudan who kill people (even their own) as if they were flies. But just like that there are people who declare war just to come out of an economic recession, and encourage economic growth. The more extremist folks in the U.S. are just as xenophobic and "fascist" as Muslims can be. The Muslim's are the world's pain in the arse, because the world has taken a huge interest in them and their potential riches (petrol anyone?). The West have begun to push harder in their incursion into Mideast, Israel, now Iraq. For the average Iraqi the situation is as every bit as miserable as it was before the invasion. Palestianians well, we all have heard plenty of this. Cuturally speaking, Islam more than a religion is an entire system to live by; the Coran and the Sunna have rules of etiquette, moral precepts and governmental and religious "laws". Under such a system you'd expect them to behave a lot different, than we do, since our laws are not dictated by the church. Islam is too much alike to Catholicism, but the few differences between both religions have historically set them apart. We must know that they are different. I mean, all this about brutalizing women, out western culture had it still a few hundred years ago, if you look up statistics in Mexico, Guatemala you'll see that women killed because of "domestic agression" still make up a considerable sum of deaths. About public executions, China still had them at the beginning of the century, and to have folks watch as a criminal is fried on the electric chair is no different and serves to the same purpose. Conclusion, our world sucks...
  15. I agree.
  16. OOC: What I thought we was still on ZS I had wanted to write a part for that... Aarghh! IC: Oreton watched the Admiral disappear. "Captain set a course back to Vallhallanea," Oreton dictated as he sank back into his seat. "Yes, sir." Onolovav answered. "We are recalibrating our navcomputers, to update the gravitic correction of the system." Oreton snorted. He had much to think about, the clouds o debris were cooling around his ship as a reminder of the destruction of Fondor. He had counted that the world would have been destroyed, in his mind the thought of demolishing the world himself with the superlase had been floating around. He had to review the decision to withdraw from the Rapora, he had first thought that a forward base was their goal. Had they been only satisfied to deny the Alliance the shipyards. He had much to think about. Truly so. **** Ulan Shai dodged the enemy fire. He sent his fighter through maneuvers he had not conceived possible. Through the Force he had established the link to the organic brain that drove his ship. The cold anger that emanated from the Rapora made his reinforce his intent to escape, as he had no intention to be captured amidst so dark enemies. Trust the Force. The words echoed in his mind. Too many people had spoken them in the same day, they hung around him as real and tangible as his own flesh. On Zonama Sekot he had watched quietly as Master Skywalker discussed with Jabitha and the Council of Sekot. Nas Choka, had barked in pure battle rage as he learnt of the advances of the Rapora. As a warrior he knew the glory the Rapora embraced, and Ulan believed the scream to be a product of the sadness of Nas Choka to have fallen from that very position a decade ago. Harrar prudent and cautious had offered his ambigious council, and had confirmed that Sekot had started to build vessels for the Yuuzhan Vong. Then they had talked to Luke about his new ship, and the discussion of the Rapora receded into a second plane. Hours had withered away, like fragile leaves in the wind. Ulan muttered one ancient battle player as he inverted his course, to shake off the pursuing starfighters. The Savla and Kar Lur cruisers still crowded the area denying him an exit. Luke had given him an assignement, but there had been another formality to address first, a formality Ulan had not asked for. He had been sitting in one of the clearing in the forest. "Ulan," Alema Rar had said. "Master?" "There is no need to call me master, Ulan wer are equals, you and me, we are both Jedi Knights. Two weeks ago when I sent you to Csilla, I had decided that your training was complete, you have faced your own trials. Far harder than any trial you could find on Ossus or Yavin." "It is fitting that your ascension is completed here, among your people." "My people are leaving, Master Skywalker. War has lured their darker side, I fear for them. Many of them are still blind to the Force, they are learnt in the arts of war, not peace. Nas Choka has a strong will, he will not betray you if he gives his word, but others are not. Domain Lah, Domain Orak, Domain..." Ulan sighed, "many Yuuzhan Vong, have not fully embraced the peace, not even the homeworld can satisfy all of their need, a little nudge and the Yuuzhan Vong could once again rise against you." "You must trust the Force, Ulan." Skywalker had answered. "It is the hardest lesson to learn." Ulan focused, the short memories of Zonama Sekor kept appearing as he desperately sought a way out of the ambush. "Trust the Force, Ulan Shai, you have been the first to leave us, the first to set a higher goal for our race. You are a Knight of Life." Harrar spoke during the brief ceremony. It had been decided that after Ulan departed for his mission the first two squadrons of Yuuzhan Vong would join the Skywalkers back into Known Space. Younger warriors, lovers of peace and of Zonama Sekot. How much would he want to have two dozen fellow Yuuzhan Vong on his sides, ready to fight with him. "Trust the Force," another voice said. One he did not know. He had thought it would come from the Rapora chasing them, but he felt it warm. A stark contrast to the chill he felt when he focused on the presence of the dark warrior on the cruiser. "Trust the Force, Ulan Shai. It is your only escape." Ulan did as he was told, he eased off the controls and dropped dead in space. But he did not feel nervous anymore, nor desperate. He would trust the Force if that meant to be trapped inside the Raporan Cruiser.
  17. Don Astromech: Vito, any word back from Lodgenet? Vito: Insults, Don Artoo. Don Astromech: Salvatore, Vito. Deal with them. And make it look like an accident.
  18. OOC: Hey my post wasn't lost. I thought I had lost it when Firefox crashed... How many Replicators are here? How many are functional? I thought I had disabled one when I came in! IC: "Two Raporan ships have hypered into the area of the shipyards?" "Is that so?" Oreton asked as Onolovav nodded back, with a predatory smile on his face. Oreton touched a few buttons and zoomed into the area of the shipyards, the cruisers were well within the shipyard group. Detonate the shipyards now would deal them considerable damage, not enough to actually destroy them. But remove them from combat for the time being would be enough. "Signal the Fondor Defense group to move away from the shipyard, they are to move at maximum speed to the port flank of the Dignity Group, they will take the role of destroyers, they must keep away from the cruisers. That's what the UDA ships are for." In the holo representation the few ships from Fondor's fleet were moving. Some starfighter chased them away, while the Raporan cruiser moved deeper into the shipyard area, fearing perhaps an offensive by the UDA ships to halt the destruction of the shipyards. "Transmit code." Oreton said. In a quick succession the most modern shipyards of the Galactic Alliance exploded, taking seven of the ten cruisers with them. The three survivors, were only that survivors, with little to do in the rest of the battle. "Whatever the outcome now is, the Alliance certainly has lost much." Oreton said. "Oreton!" Evahe's voice came through the holocomm. A bitter angry tone came with it. "Admiral, seven Savla-class cruiser have been destroyed." "And you, Oreton destroyed what we were defending here," the angry tone took over. "With the Cruiser having jumped in there, there was no other alternative. Shipyards can be replaced, the crewers that would have died had the ten cruisers survived cannot." The other commander grunted. "What is your plan now?" "The Rapora have succeeded in one of their objectives, they have denied us the most important resource on Fondor. While strategically this world is an access to many space lanes on this side of the galaxy it is not as important as other worlds like Corellia or Kuat are. If we push further they might withdraw. Oreton out." The human Grand Admiral took a deep breath. The loss of the shipyards would mean a setback of warship production, while he did value more the people crewing the vessels than the vessels itself, it would not help overall strategy if he had idle crewers that had no ships to occupy and send against the Rapora. He grimly made a mental note about communicating with Dorja and Yage about Imperial production and recruiting. "SIr, the Raporan pincer is breaking. Spirit of Justice and their group have forced them back. The two fleets will regroup." The shipyards were gone, there was no point in halting the UDA - Imperial Fleet anymore. "The GFFA fleet?" "Engaged against Kar Lur and Savla Cruisers. The Replicator has withdrawn from point-blank ranged and has opened fire on the Alliance support vessels." "Signal, our Delta-Missileboats, use SLAMs and heavy bombs to make runs on the cruisers attacking the GFFA Fleet, gunships will hold mines and fighters. Bring us to reinforce the GFFA group as well, there is no point in staying here, there are no shipyards anymore."
  19. Dunno about Fury but I certainly do...
  20. OOC: Didn't the Replicator arrive after tEvahe did? Oh well.. "Sensor report?" Baros Oreton asked from the seasoned officer that reviewed the status of the sensors. "Incoming freindlies on vector Seventy-Four. IFF says Galactic Alliance, I'm picking the Guardian among them." "Evahe, and the Fourth Fleet," Onolovav whispered as he let out a subdued whistle. "They are moving towards the Replicator Group." The officer said. "True, you can read that from their formation." Oreton said. "Evahe is not a fool he know that the superlase cannot harm the Replicator from this distance, not with so many Raporan ships in between." "Status on the Fondor Defense Fleet?" "Heavily damaged, they were not prepared for the barrage, we have order request." "Tell them to hold their position, and regroup into a small fleet elements. They will focus on the starfighters. Start moving us to lend assistance, I believe we assume there will not be another Raporan fleet." "Seven shipyards were successfully evacuated, sir. Twentyfive are still pending, the Administrator is leading the evacuation from within an Assault Shuttle." Onolovav reported. "Three shipyards will possibly still make the room, the other twelve will not make it a group of Kar Asp Starfighters have set an interception course." "Transmission from Channel Besh, it is Admiral Evahe." "Oreton." The Alliance Admiral said as soon as he materialized. "Admiral, an Ackbar Slash? So early in the morning?" There was a snort that silently was received via holocomm. "That Replicator is our primary objective. What is your plan?" "Only twenty seventy percent of the shipyards have been evacuated, the ones that won't go are rigged to explode at my order. The first Raporan wave has entangled us and will not allow to be pushed back, so Imperious and the UDA cannot help you. If we blast the Raporan ships around us the Replicator will have a clear shot at us." "I understand your situation, Grand Admiral." Evahe said. "I will see you when we celebrate our triumph." Oreton closed down the channel. "The Replicator fired upon the Fourth Fleet, two Victory-III Destroyers were lost, a Ravager is drifting." "Not too much," Oreton dictated. "Signal to Spirit of Justice and their support, open fire and remodulate, I want that Raporan flank destroyed. Maneuver to counter their pincer." "Superlaser status?" "Sixty percent, sir." "Fire on the Savla Formation on my mark." Oreton waited for the Savla to split their forces in two groups, to surround one Imperial II Destroyer. "Mark." The green superlase seamed through two of the Savlas and crippled another one. "Excellent shot, start recharge protocol. Torpedo batteries, focus fire on the Kar Lur cruiser on starboard. Turbolaser batteries, target mines." "Starfighters down to seventy-percent, Rapora down to fifty." Onolovav added, for the first time did the Empire hold the upper hand in the starfighter battle. Hopefully would things continue this way. The Guardian and their group were already exchanging fire with the Resurrector Fleet. Oreton continued to analyze the status of the battle. "Signal the Administrators and his crews to make their escape. Get me the pilots on the Heavy Lifters."
  21. I cannot see the faces...
  22. If that doesn't work, you can always use your little Fusion Welder, Astromech Vizier. WOO to you, Double AA.!!!!!
  23. Trej moves closer to Double-A. "Psst. I think it was Jahled who made it... But I did not tell you this."
