  1. Iulan could not help but feel angry. Angry at himself for not being the superior pilot he should be, angry for not being the Jedi he should be, angry because he was born and fate brought him to face this... This, though, was not only the camera watching his every move from one corner of the room, it was neither the rest of cameras hidden in the most nonbvious places of his room. It was very much beyound that. he had lost the Force. He didn't know how, that dark Jedi could hardly have been able to shut it off, or could he? Iulan contracted his hand into a fist and slammed it into the wall. He repeated it two more times, blood began to come oout of his knuckles. His anger did not diminish instead he began to perceive it as somethign almost tangible... Perhpas if I get more angry I'll be able to touch the Force. But didn't that speak against all of Elegaie's teachings? Iulan let out an outraged cry. Stormtroopers wouldn't mind him screaming. Gone was the regal young man that flew an X-Wing, gone was the Jedi in training. In its place was the young man who had survived in the lower levels of Coruscant, fighting and killing humans, and things that once were humans. He was a slayer, nothing more. His mind had reverted to the mind of an animal, relying on instincts to survive. Instincts that had come through the Force. The Force he had lost. The Force he could recover with his anger. Another angry cry echoed int he detention level of the Imperial Star Destroyer Proud order. ************************************** Somewhere in the Hoth system. During the war Rebels had chosen to build an outpost on Hoth, not the ice planet, instead just a small platform in orbit of the fourth planet. From here they watched Bespin during the Imperial occupation plannign raids, to capture valuable Tibanna gas. From there they had forged alliances with the Ugnaughts. From there they had witnessed the collision of two planets. Hoth V and the sixth planet, memorable for the battle that had cost so many lives. Now Trukas Jahl, the commander of this outpost, knew that he was about to die. First he had fulfilled his duty and send the footage through the proper channel to the sector headquarters. The black rock-vessel that had come, had stripepd the stations of its shields. And plasma and strange creature, which devoured the metal, were weakening the structure. There the world ended for him. The last thing he saw was a big asteroid moving towards the station. And Trukas could imagine a booming laughter, arrogantly boasting this defeat. Rjiuvan Shai laughed arrogantly. He had destroyed two planets. He had destroyed another base of this metal-loving infidels. The Gods must love him, glory had been waiting for him in this new galaxy. He signalled his controllers, to send the ships over to capture the survivors, and allow the villips to download further information on the sector. Caressing a villip he open a link to Overlord Shimraa.
  2. Pain was such a sweet nectar. Rjiuvan Shai savored all he could from the Embrace of Pain, each perception opening new dimensions. Word from the greatest of all Yuuzhan Vong had come. supreme Overlord Shimraa had agreed to his plan, the Yo'Gand's Core woudl be executed on Hoth. The sixth planet and the fifth would provide the Yuuzhan Vong with more resources to breed warships and worlds ships. So would the asteroid field. Rjiuvan uttered a prayer for Yun-Yuuzhan, the God who had sacrifices parts of his body to create the Yuuzhan Vong. A tongue-twister, childish in its rhymes, but of profound religous meaning, he dedicated to Yun-Harla, the twin of Yun-Yammka, the Slayer. To the Slayer he had given a world and the prisoners of the strange dagger ships. They, who had been broken by the pain. Pain flowed, it was almost a liquid he could swim in. Rjiuvan Shai barked a laughter just before the Embrace of Pain released him. "Commander," spoke one of the warrior. "We are in Hoth. The dovin basal is ready for deployment." "Good." Rjiuvan Shai the taste of sweet pain fresh in his mind. Hoth, an icy planet, Rjiuvan, had of course chosen that planet because of the knowledge that was captured on board the ships, there had been a battle. Not as dramatic as the battle of Endor, but just as important. Battlefields, were sanctuaries to Yuuzhan Vong, sacred to Yun-Yammka, to raise morale of the warriors, he would offer the battlefields of the infidels to the Gods. Rjiuvan laughed again. Aloud he spoke a blessing from Yun-Yammka.
  3. Yes, the NJO maps change, Adumar and Ansion, appear in the Rebel Stand map. Mask: I couldn't see the close-up of the Coruscant sector, with Corulag, Chandrila, etc... On the net I found a map from DeAgostini that included the zoom in, as well as a chart with hypèrspace distance. 22 hrs from Bakura to the Yaga Minor or something. Pehaps it's just something iwht the German version.
  4. Somewhere you must have been confused, and I was ocnfused in return, and with this summary we confused many other people. Let's straighten this out. Iulan Stora was a Jedi Master in the Clone Wars, some of his close friends were part of the Outbound Flight Project and went into another galaxy. He died fighting Dark Jedi, much like the ones Nejaa Halcyon faced, as is told in I, Jedi. He was not in Susefsvi, he was somewhere else. He had no children. He had a sister, though. His sister married and had a son. This son, I never wrote about him, died in the early years of the Rebellion, 4 ABY, he left behind a son, whose name was changed back to the name of his grandmother's brother. Iulan S'Tor, this is me in the RPG. He was born in COruscant, lived in Krall, and Corellia. On Coruscant he discovered traces of his grand uncle's past, that were confirmed by Luke. When the Outbound FLight return, they bring along Iulan Stora's old friends. He at first confuse Iulan with the dead Iulan. Elegaie then trains me, to honor his dead friend. I hope this is clear. Quite a confusion we must have made, somewhere. Especially in those long posts.
  5. OOC: Thanks, I find that being a bad guy is very relaxing, espcially after school, when teachers just bombarded your brains with lots and lots of huttesse gibberish.
  6. Trjiuvanat looked around, sound didn't carry very well in the moon, but he thought he heard something. Was it Jahled jumping around or was it Untimely tinkering with more of the NASA junk to get back to Earth? The next he heard was a scream and the the shockwave of an explosion. Grimly Trejiuvanat thought that at least one of them had just made it back to Earth.
  7. It owuld be drastic but it would be more realistic. It takes a Clas sOne hyperdrive to cross from Bakura to Yaga minor about 22 hours. The bad thing is that the hyperspeed for characters traveling from one corner to another can't be reeduced...
  8. I'm having doubt about Guri, they Rebs did take her assassin programming. I read that somwehere... What about Rogriss? Or Ruhk? Disra or one of the other older Moffs?
  9. Good, Mask, cool map. I just missed one planet from it, Adumar... NJO maps put it between Vortex and Nirauan... Another thing why does the close-up of the Coruscant sector appear black?.
  10. Yes, maarek Stele, I was thinking about him as teh Force user. The thing with Isard, and Tavira, is that they are imporatant characters, if give the Imps Dorja and Brandei at the beginnning, they are hardly more than command chars, Dorja has diplomacy too, but not much. Isard, is a command char, and has good intel and combat, and she would have joined Thrawn, had he asked her, if only to try and kill him. Tavira, I think is much the same, perhaps qe could leave it with Isard and Dorja. Veers Pellaeon Fel Covell Isard Dorja Maarek Stele
  11. At least let's work first on the Imperial starting chars. I'd suggest Pellaeon, Baron Fel, Isard, Veers (?), Covell(?), Tavira(?). And perhaps one Force user. One of the lesser Emperor's hands, perhaps...
  12. OOC: Since Iulan is nothing more than a bargaining chip at the time, I'll let Elvis, Untimely, and Igor deal with me. Igor might even want to pervert my scarce JEdi knowledge. I think I'll go Vong at the time. Boy, do I like this new implants, my dhyuram-yammosk brain is so cool... IC: Few Yuuzhan Vong commanders, allowed a priest to perform a careful operation like this in the bridge of a warship. The situation, though, deserved it. Three white dagger ships, Star Destroyer, had been either destroyed or captured. The slaves, humans, some clones -what gives these heretics the right to toy wiht life?-. THye would be soon offered to the True Gods. Special villips, were now decoding part of the information stored on the white ships. The priest growled in joy. Rjiuvan Shai, now possessed a radank arm where his left arm had been. Too had the priest implanted the right ear of his dead brother to him. SO, could he always hear what his borther had heard. Rjiuvan recitated a prayer to Yun-Yammka, the Slayer. The God, that had given Domain Shai its natural resistance to pain, and its embrace. Meanwhile smaller ships were seeding the newly reshaped planet, while grutchin-yoriks, where enjoying a meal of dead hulls of Imperial ships. The blaze bugs of the glory room, changed to reveal the state of the galaxy according to the latest information on battle. Not far away was a world that could be useful, to breed new worldships. Hoth. He would consult Overlord Shimraa on this.
  13. Just one correction, though, hardly important to the development of the story, Iulan S'Tora's grandfather is dead, one close friend to him, though, is part of the resurfaced Jedi from the Outbound Flight. He died, against some dark Jedi, much like the same kind of Nejaa Halcyon's Jensaarai... But that't part of one of my own stories.... "no, not exactly. One rumor said that he died fighting a Dark Jedi, nearing the end of the Clone Wars." "To be precise it was of the same group of dark Jedi that were killed by Nejaa Halcyon on Susefsvi, Iulan Stora died on Rhodhanvia." Luke added putting an end to the discussion. From his robes though, he brought a cylindric shaped object. "This is courtesy of the Galactic Museum, a while ago Corran Horn was there and found a forbidden Jedi section. There were mementos in honor of dead Jedi. Twenty-four lightsabers belonged to this collection, three worked, Corran's, another and yours." AS for the tactical stuff, the Vong are coming from the direction of Bakura, Endor, Hoth.... The rebels are in the RIm too, but still far away. Tatooine, Krall, Geonosis... etc... On the other side of the galaxy the Imps were going into massproduction of cloaked fighters. The Vong have taken Endor, and already began to alter it using biolgical agents. He smiled as the blaze bug depicted the planet below burning like an inferno. Their biological agents had worked...
  14. Rjiuvan Shai allowed a quck smile to show. he was after all the commander now, shedao had died when a part of the coral ship had broken and was now incrusted in his chest. The battle had been a thriumph for the Yuuzhan Vong, the dagger shaped vessel, what these infidel called a star destroyer, had been rendered defenseless. Their little fighters slaughtered by the overwhelming coralskippers. Two slaveships had gone over with an escort of warriors to capture the vessel. The slaveships docked, using a tamed grutchin to open a part of the hull and enter the vessel, the dovin basal of the Legacy of Torment was holding the Bellicose. The blaze bugs representing the BEllciose in the Glory Room separted themselves, the infidels have destroyed themselves. So they do know how to die. The priest next to him shivered. "Commander Shai, the gods will not pleased to see these enemies offering such a worthy death." Rjiuvan said nothing. The blaze bug rearranged showing two more dagger vessel in the area, modified vilips identified one of them . Heartless. had these infidels, much like themselves had severed parts of their body to their Gods? Impossible, yet they had offered such a wothy death. Maybe they were not so stranged to the Yuuzhan Vong. He would destroy one vessel, the other one he would capture for the sake of the true gods. He smiled as the blaze bug depicted the planet below burning like an inferno. Their biological agents had worked...
  15. The Zoot Wars RPG... Now I understand why Jahled likes to bounce. Trejiuvanat runs fifty meter on the lunar landscape and jumps.... he is floating then falls and bounces, and all over again... As soon as the next lunar mission gives me aride to earth I'll join the Anti-Zoot Alliance. Are you still there Elvis, no meatballs yet...?
  17. RebEd .27? Did that exist?
  18. I think we all agree on this, it's very cool. Welcome. One warning though. Do not mess with Jahled's cat, it's dangerous.
  19. One minor Imp guy, done. Twenty-seven to go....
  20. OOC: Yep, it's time for our Imps to wake up. I had the Vong take on an Impstar earlier (although, I hadn't decided at that time whether to make it Imp or Rebel)...
  21. Nice to see all of us in the moon. It was a weird ride, I almost crashed into a satellite on the way. It was pretty hard to find internet access on this side form the moon. Anyway Ithikn I'll start planning revange for Zoot. But first I'll help you Jahled. SInce you have your gloves on your ears, you might want to get another pair and put them on your feet...um... I a mean hands, or both. I can't remember.... Seriously: I don't know about changing the background in the 3d mode, I'll take a look into that anyway... To convert any picture in 256, I think I used paint for that, there is a way to do it in Photoshop... I always use paint for testing cards in 256 colors, or copy-paste files from Photoshop then I save into 256 colors. Unlike changing the ship models, changing BMPs works differently, it is easier. You can send me the picture to this address: mailto:julianastorga@mail.com
  22. A thousand different thoughts crossed Iulan's mind. Run from the hangar steal a TIE and leave. Run from the hangar use his lightsaber to cut his way thourgh the Star Destroyer and sabotage it. Crouch in the cockpit and act as if he were demented. None of them, though, seemed reasonable. In the hangar two dozen stormtroopers had been waiting for him. An imperial officer too stood there regally. Iulan walked out of his cockpit. "Surrender weapons," the officer stated. Iulan handled his recently acquired lightsaber. "All of them." He repeated. From his boot he took out his vibroblade and gave it to the imperial. "Thank you, come with us." He added politely. Iulan followed them. There he saw a dark imposing figure in the shadows of the hangar building. He came closer to the officer. "You will allow me to take the REbel." "Certainly, I will allow him to take the Rebel." the officer responded, Iulan certainly felt something in the Force. "Give me his weapon." "Certainly, I will give you his weapon." The officer, his mind absolutely absent, gave the dark figure the lightsaber. "Good." "I'm pleased to serve." And he walked away. Iulan was alone with the man. "So," Iulan asked, carefully, "How it's like to serve the Dark Side?" The man smiled.
  23. Yes, little combat and no espionage, but boost the leadership and perhaps even diplomacy.
  24. OOC: I think you're on the Proud Order since that is Untimely's flagship, and he pays you constant visits. Somewhere in the early pages it was stated that Rebel fighters' lasers, were invisble (nightstinger design), and their warhead used a smaller cloaking device.
  25. The fleet of Imperial vessels looked at the cloaked fighters threateningly, despite the fact that they couldn't see them they knew they were there, they had been sighted immediately after the Imperial fleet had left hyperspace, cloak shileds were effective but had some weaknesses, it took almost a minute to cloak the fighter, this had given the Imperials a chance to spot them, hyperspace wouldn't work when cloaked, and shields would only raise up to twenty-five percent, and communication would work badly. Imperial TIE fighters and interceptors had already left the hangar bays and came rapidly towards the lone Jedi squadron. "Immortals," Luke's voice heavily distorted cut the momentary silence that had been gnawing at him. "We'll tackle the fighters, keep away from the cap ships, especially from the Lancer." Each member acknowledged with a double click of the comm. "They're at three klicks, each one take a TIE. Two missiles." Luke ordered, while Iulan targeted one TIE, the reticle was yellow and thenthe continuos tone and the red box indicated that he had a lock. He pulled the trigger. Two invisible missiles raced towards the TIE. It exploded, as did eleven more TIEs. "Lead, Four. There are Scimitars coming." "Lead, Six. not only bombers, but lambs too." Iulan's Twi'Lek wingmate reported. Apparently the Imps had launched everythign flight-worthy into vacuum. "Leave them, we'll deal with them later." Luke replied. For a moment Iulan looked at the fighter that were coming on them. Iulan considered the deaths of the first twelve TIEs, slaughtered by invisble fists. Was that the Jedi's way? It probably isn't, but otherwise we would be slaughtered. The Jedi would die. If this guys were so important why where they flying after all. No time to worry about that. "Contact." Luke said, as the squadron broke to engage the TIE fighter. The TIEs obviously in disadvantage looked pretty stupid evading imaginary shots. more than a fighter squadorn it looked like synchronized disorder. Some of the TIEs, though, despite their erratical and irrational maneuvers were killed by invisible laser shots desintegrating in the cold vacuum. Iulan lead his flight into different maneuvers, they weren't meant to pursue the imperials fighter, but more to evade the dancing TIEs, one of them may get lucky and ram one A-Wing. Al lof this while achieving precise and precious kills. "Two Flight break." Iulan ordered, a flight of enemy squuints was racing to their position. "Reform on m-" Iulan looked at the sensors, he hadn't been rammed, but he had been hit. There he realized what the lambda shuttles and the scimitars were doing. The Imperial commander was better schooled than Iulan had thought. Ion mines now flooded the battlefield, some TIEs had already been hit by the ion cannons. Probably focusing on gravitic distortions the ion mines could diable the A-Wings. "immortal, out of the furball. There are Ion mines here." Before he could turn away from the battle a new ion hit decloaked his shit. Big trouble. Iulan didn't even consider to restart the cloak shields instead he pumped the shields to 100%, and hopefully get out. PArtly he was relieved that no other A-Wing had been decloaked, which was good. On the otherside the only way out of this system meant flying thourgh the Imperial capital ships to get free of Krall's hypermass. The navicomputer beeped reported the IFF code of an Imperial Star Destroyer. Iulan already knew that he was close to them. Proud Order was the name. Iulan recalled it from the ambush after his promotion to Captain, on the Pride of Chandrila. Iulan juked and made his A-Wign dance in space, but that wasn't enough. Enemy greeen fire had reduced his shields. One more ion shot had disableed him partially. The momentum now drove his ship towards the planet. My granduncle was born here, and I die here. Fitting. Anyway, there are worst thing than death. As if controlled by his thoughts a tractor beam leveled him and drew him to the hangar bay of the monstrous Star Destroyer. Iulan grabbed for his lightsaber and considered igniting it in the cockpit and kill himself there, somehow he did not find the courage to do so. He was not scared instead he made himself confortable in the cockpit as the hangar grew bigger. He could already see the stormtroopers waiting for him. A sudden flash behind his ship and information from the navicomputer reported that Elvis had arrived. he was fiteen klicks away. he was too late and too far. Iulan took a deep breath. He was in the hands of the Empire.
