I can speak from experience on all of the following: Dell's laptops are good; Dell's small business desktops are good, as is small business customer service; Dell's home desktops are so-so, home customer service is garbage. Like Evaders said, have you tried disabling SpeedStep? It and AMD's equivalent are both problematic. -
Latin. Terrans > Earthlings, any day. When I look at the sky, at all those stars, when I look at pictures like the Hubble Ultra Deep Field, where every single point of light is a galaxy containing hundreds of millions, if not billions, of stars... There's no bloody way we're alone.

I prefer the build-up-an-empire way myself, but GC/GCII are pretty fun. I wish more games had GCII's camera.

I really like Dr. Pepper and Mug Root Beer from soda fountains. If they did the mixture right, it beats the bottled stuff by a mile. But, chocolate milk forever.

That's always really, really bugged me. WTF is the point!?

What OS is each of them running? Any idea what 'someone' did to networked one? When you say both are connected, what's that mean? Did you try plugging a laptop into the other end of the cable and see if it gets internet access? Maybe something to do with going through a router?

Have you ever played Freelancer, if not then SHUT UP Freelancer implemented mouse flight excellently; anyone who calls it a flight sim deserves to be shot. Single-player sucked. Once you finished the main story, it got old in about five minutes. Multiplayer basically the same. Anyone who calls it "Morrowind in space" also deserves to be shot. Zer_Teron, have you played XWA? TF? XvT? XW? LOMAC? Any of Jane's old games? IL2? F/A-18?
