As you may already know, I have a new site design ready for you to take over: Basicly it's a concept that can be expanded with anything that fits it's canon.

If you like to take it over, please send me an email/PM or find me on MSN Messenger. JI already knows it and would like to have it implented.

It contains a new logo, and our forgotten mascot as well.

Mostly CSS and Javascript in html. As you're the boss around here, I would gladly pass it tou you and you could freely modify ot fit it with your ideas. As I wont have the skills and time to finish it in full anyway. However I'm willing to cooperate with any design projects on SWR.

Well, i'll be extremely hard-pressed to contribute anything to La_Forge's standards, but i've been a member long enough to at least put in some effort on the subject, given I have some basic understanding of pixel-mashing.

Very nice. You think you could put it in a few different sizes? Standard 468x60, button-size... mm what else..

In a perfect world I could have played around with adding noise to the lightsabers to give them a subtle blend of movement, but I haven't quite to grips with the technique...and when I did try it tripled the frames being used in the gifs, subsequently smashing the file sizes well above 200 kb, which I guess is a little large for banner purposes.

 

When I finnished the second one I experimented with one final thing:

As I we've got the first lightsaber without any of the subsequent additions we're at liberty to make any alterations to suit requirements, for example inserting a Warlords logo, Reloaded logo, Outside interests logo, or whatever.

 

If anyone wants to expand using these, feel free to do so.

I don't know what you think but i find the blade a bit too thick. Do you think you could slim it down a tad J?

I made the outer glow spread slightly smaller as M78 suggested and changed the whole colour scheme to green to make the logo more clear in accordance to TK's observations.

 

NB: the timing, it being a gif, can be altered...
