ok, I know its not a starwars game, but in my experience, you guys have been quite knowledgable in most gaming matters, so heres a big question for ya; I have driver 4 (as you have guessed), and would like to replace some of the in-game models (most of all, replace some mercedes clone w/a BMW 740iL), but I have no idea as to where I could find a modding site for that game (yes, I tried google). well I find it would be far easier is, say, youre attacking a convoy, to send in a small fleet of capital ships, say 2 0r 3 + interdictor, and have them do a fly-by. Then, have them run off, and when the convoy defenses follow them far enough away, then fire up the interdictor's gravwells. then, jump another fleet, or even a single ship, and attack the defenseless convoy Another idea would be to fill a wreck(s) with a thermo-nuke(s), and use a tractor beam to send it to the enemy ship(s). Then, when opponent(s) are in range, send a radio command to blow the wreck (adapted version of kueller's weapon in "The New Rebellion") Pretty ruthless, eh? Oh and i forgot, you could always use the thrawn pincer (Isard's Revenge - towards end of book Krennel vs Ackbar) And remember kids, start every day with a bowl of Admir Ackbar's Seafood Cereal - Now With Fried Calamari

Hey guys, I was reinstalling my Holiday HL2 Pack (HDD crash, major paint in the ass) and it prompted me to make a new account for steam, so i was wondering, is it okay to do this? im not sure so im posting it here. Any answer is greatly appreciated, and this would mean i can play lan games with my friends using my dads pc if it's ok.

oh its fixed. turns out his graphics card driver was obsolete although considering how many times he called me for these kinds of things, I think im gonna start charging him an hourly fee anyways, thanks for the suggestions StefX

um i did all that, now the patch crashes at objects_client.zip 30%, alternating patch failed message and simple vanishing trick. I'm really startint to hate EA games now but if u guys know a bypass or something plz lemme know (im trying to patch from a dvd right now,fingers crossed)
