the game is v1.41, patched with the "patch from cd" technique, all videodrivers are latest models except maybe for ATi Catalyst Control Center The game worked perfectly until june, when I had a HDD crash, had to reformat the disk. BF2 works ok on stock installation, but the patched version just ctd's around ~59-60% (loading geometries) I tried lowering geometry level but still doesnt work... If there is any other info needed which I forgot to mention, plz say so Stef

Ok i know this isn't Rebellion related, but I just spent 8 and 1/2 hours trying to patch bf2 to v 1.41, and it worked, but now my game crashes to desktop on map loading (~60% - Geometries). My specs are a AMD64 3800-series processor, 1 Gig DC ram, Abit k8n Motherboard, 160 gig sata HDD and ATI X1600 Pro 256mb Ice-Q graphics card. plz help me!!! (I love bf2, aside from the Sh!tty ea techsupport which has got me nowhere sofar) StefX

this ships with all windows, cuz it shows up on my win2k and i was LOL pretty cool, i wanna try schedule the school pc's to run this at 12:30 (middle of lunch) lol

yo guys im in a fix my friend thought it would be funny to tell steam that i cheat, and now im banned from all vac2 servers... FOR NOTHING id understand if i actually did hack/cheat, but i didnt, and my idiot friend wont pay for a new steam account. he did mention though that there are bypasses for those bans, but I dont know what they are and he doesnt know where to find them so if anyone can help I would appreciate it Stefx

aight i did the test everything checks out however, i popped the ram into different mb slots just incase its the connectors. seems to be working thanks guys!!!

hi guys I have a little problem and was wondering if u could help me out I just reinstalled windows after wiping my HDD All drivers, everything Now, all my games currently installed (Halflife 1&2 deathmatch, CounterStrike Source, Driver Parallel Lines, and Homeworld 2) kepp crashing to desktop after about 5-10 min of play, and occasionally the comp reboots itself There are no error messages of any sort displayed when this happens. The games worked perfectly on my previous install of windows (win 2k professional) System Specs Ati X1600 Ice-Q Pro Turbo 256-mb Graphics Amd 64 4200 processor (single core) Abit K8N Motherboard 1 gig Corsair Ram 160 gig Hard Disk Drive Funky Purple Fan (if it makes a difference) If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it StefX

No not a complete port, just make a fleet like the "Militia" or the Empire, or a combination of a few ships of the various fleets (except Vong) and give the destroyers infection abilities, and paint the hulls withe the red gore off cataclysm. it would look awesome!

Hey I was wondering, u guys remember Homeworld Cataclysm, in all its glory? Remember the Beast? Anyways, would it be possible to build a new fleet, "Beast" or "B-Movie Horror Creature"? With the gore on the ship exteriors and possibly the infect beam? IT WOULD BE TOTALLY AWESOME IF YOU COULD DO THAT!!! i mean, the beast is so cool on a 3rd grade level ty

I wanted to say, i think that u should add the Night Caller Corvette. There are definitely two in existence, the Night Caller and Constrictor, both in Warlord Zsinj's Fleet (see X-wing #5, Wraith Squadron) and it would be a pity not to have a corvete pocket-carrier... good for patrols lol. also, maybe the sith warships if u can dig up the pics, it would be awesome to have a sith fleet (separate army) i mean, u kno evil people like palpatine but numbering about 250 000 in one fleet seems like an awesome idea... lol
