The important thing to udnerstand about Quebec and the rest of Canada is the Constitution, and nobody does, which is why we're ok. On...I believe Saturday, I was notified via email that somebody sent me a private message. I didn't read the message, so I don't know when exactly it was sent. Anyways, when I got here, I checked my inbox. No message. Hmmm.... Now, I have my suspicions as to who sent it to me, (I have sent out a PM that has not received a response,) but would anyone who has sent me a PM since...oh, Thursady, at least, or someone who has not received a response from me and sent me a PM anytime int he last month (when I know it was working) please resend it. My question is did I miss something? Is there soemtihng not immediately obvious that I should do to get the message? Can someone delete a message after sending it? If this problem continues, what int he blazes can I/should I do about it? Has anyone else had/currently has this problem?

Adm. Togura: Also assuming Reloaded uses all the same ships; they aren't likely to use all the same ones. Just a glance at the list of ships unmodeled and I think I know why. They are the least popular ones. Most people who use cards replace those ships. And even if they do keep them, they probably don't want ot expend the effort to make a graphically updated model because they don't have any particularly good reason to do so. Well, now they do.

It also puts Rebellion in the Thrawn Era. (New Rep.) A package of Rebellion-era models that are simply graphics upgrades for each of the already existing ships sounds like a good idea, though.

I haven't been gone for the last two or three months! I've been active at the Religion thread, Rebellion Reloaded, Cards, ... You must be joking.

I personally have been taking lessons form the droid, instead of letting him do it himslef entirely...I hit 3000 maintenance points and pretty much stay there for the res of the game. As fro refined...1000 minimum. I usually have a shipyard deficit and have long since adopted the take-it-and-take-it-once philosophy of prioritizing planets to all get two GenCores (who cares abotu artillery?) on every planet before building any construction stuff. It slows constrcution abit, but it means that I rarely ever take the same planet twice and rarely lose one. By the time my oppopnents mass a fleet big enough to start de GenCoring (if and when I let them,) its a mere matter of interposing my nearest fleet at their next target and then they are down a fleet...and only a few days later I get my planet back. As to repairing things...I've noticed that it takes longer when you keep checking ot see if they've partially repaired, but you should check every now and again because the mroe repaired a ship is the slower it repairs...I repair most fo my ships in the battle after they get damaged. Also, fighters on-planet repair faster than fleetbound fighters, and get increased bonuses if that planet has shipyards. With Regards, Psych.

Nice. Anybody know where to get a good audio of Who's On First? I've got a decent copy, but when it was recorded the guy doign it was fiddling with the volume, so either I have to turn the whole thing down, and only hear the firstpart, or lose my hearing after listenng to the first part in order to hear the rest of it, or manually operate the volume control everytime it repeats for hours on end. (One day I was doing a major project and those around me couldn't figure out why I was laughing almost continually for hours on end...Good ol' Abbot and Costello!)

Are requests for testing help something to be expected soon (ie by Dec) or something we aren't likely to get for awhile (Next year, at least.), jsut so I don't have to worry about holding my breath anymore, and can exhale. One reason I ask is by next year circumstances will hav changed more many people-some will havem ore experience, some will have different classes, new jobs, etc. As time passes, so does RL. I'm not sayign I can't do it anymore, cause I could if I was sent stuff to test, but if its nto goign to be for quite awhile I suggest a new thread or whatnot closer to when or when testers are actually neede. (Just in case all you others are busy testing stuff I haven't gotten, I'd really like to get in on it, as I did volunteer a few posts back.)

As a matter of fact I have felt anywhere between slightly and somewhat offended during this conversation, (Anything 'rather' and higher I respond too.) but haven't specifically complained about it. To be honest, I'm used to it. If I used the same scale of touchyness that the average human uses, I'd be in a constant stat of pissed. That's why I don't. Basically as a general rule I feel somewhat offended when people think I'm being mean, nasty, or trying to offend others. I'll say it here, and you can hold me to it. I NEVER try to offend people. I NEVER try to be mean and nasty. I do my best to avoid both. I am, however, a blunt person by nature. If soembody thinks I'm trying to offend soembody or saying something offensive, its a misunderstanding and/or a typo. And now, back to the regularly scheduled discussion of important thigns..

Whether I was misunderstood or not, nobody found my comment offensive after I reworded it, so it was probably a good thing I did. Now the stuff about Catholoscism is wrong, AFAIK. Going to mass is alot like what Protestants and non-denominational Christian groups call going to church. Its a good thing, you should do it. The confessing to the priest I'm a little more unclear about, but I do know a lot of Catholics who do not do that. If they are believers in Christ, why do they not believe wht He said to be the Truth? He said that works have nothing to do with it. Why don't they believe the many other times in the Bible where it says that? Why do they practice so many other anti-Biblical practices? I'll admit that many non-Catholics do that, generally with different things, but that's not who I'm talking aobut. I'll admit alot of Catholics follow procedures that aren't Biblical; but taking the example of both confessing to the priest and to God, confession to another person is not unBiblical, and can often help the situation. AFAIK, not all that many Catholics (at least around here) believe that you must confess to the priest. And I don't think I am judging Mormons the way you say I am. I am saying that in general Mormons are not Chrisitans. In general, mice will eat cheese. Does that mean I am judging mice too? And please don't use Jewish beliefs as a rationale for why osmebody is a christian, because, exempting the Messianic Jews, (fancy title for Jews who have become Christians) they aren't. No, the things perceived by others to be at the core are often debatable. I'm pretty sure all Jews believe God exists, for example. And just in advance, can we stay away from talking about non-practising people, because it gets alot more complicated when it comes to them.

I'm afraid that I have been misunderstood. I never intended to offend ANYBODY. I've been busy on a major school project and my tohught patterns are screwy, I'm sure at least soem of you understand that. Nevertheless, I am sorry about this misunderstanding. Let me rephrase it. If somebody calls him/herself a Jew, shares a few similar belefs, but does not adhere to the belief system and/or customs of Judaism, in fact has many beliefs contrary to the very core of Judaism, are they still a Jew? No.

Adm Togura, I think we are going to have to agree to disagree. The dictionary definition of Christian they may be, but Christians they are not. Christianity is a faith, not a religion. Mormonism is a religion. The difference? In a religion you do stuff to get something. In a faith you have faith. It is an unfortunate thing that Christianity is often called a religion. It is an unfortunate thing that many non Christians call themselves Christians because of deeds and do not have faith. Does standing in Israel and claiming to be a Jew, beleiving in God's existence, eating non-koscher food and reading the Torah make you a true Jew?
