  1. Ok, so all this sounds reasonable. But, I have another question. What all can RebED do? I can't find anywhere that lists what can be done and want to know before I consider downloading it. Also, is there any possbile known way, RebED or otherwise, to increase the number of save files? And finally, will downloading RebED change anything in Rebellion wityhout me manually doing something? And will changes to RebED affect games that have already started?
  2. I mean, sure, its cool to change stuff around, but really, why? I haven't downloaded it, and so far don't EVER intend to unless its necessary for Reloaded and Reloaded turns out to be a good as it should be or better. RebED is cheating, plain and simple, AFAIK. Think about it, what do most people do with it? AFAIK- -add more researchers -increase stats -more diplomats -supe up stuff -make stuff easier and get rid of 'features' I've been playing Rebellion for years since getting it for my B-DAY when it was considered relatively new and creaming both Imps and Rebs on varying difficulties (mainly medium and hard) and never hitting the 2000 day mark. Capturing Coruscant and killing/capturing people and diplomatizing and wide-spread fleet blasting and finding and bombing Rebel bases is easy enough, without RebED, methinks. And if I use RebED to make it harder all I can do is supe up or weaken the respective team's personnel, possibly lessening researchers, suping cruisers or giving others more planets. That's just time. As the Empire, its just a few more ISDs. As the Rebellion, actually using SpecForces other than a dozenish Longprobes. (Something I find unnecessary and time wasting partially because I have this horrid habit of using personnel and troop-slayer fleets to diplomatize everything without enough troops to hold on.) So, i pose the question. Why download RebED? Why use RebED? Why use it more than once or twice to preform a simple experiment or test how it works? Add a do you/did you to those previous questions. I really want to know.
  3. Please? I mean, you don't need to give away much, but say...a screenshot or two showing the (please be) heavily improved graphics of several ISDs slagging some Rebel nincompoops might be nice. I am an advocate of heavy secrecy, but I really want to know what we can expect in the ship to ship graphics department. I'm not asking you to reveal what sorts of ships, fighters, or stats of thereof will be in Reloaded, just pictures of a model or two of stuff in Rebellion that will still be in Reloaded. (Most likely including ISDs and ISD2s, I would assume.)
  4. There was a "high" and three "highly". That might be abit much, but as I tried to get across before, none of this is 'final copy' stuff, just getting the idea across, while including the relevant details. I actually have alot more on Raith Danar and some more on the associated Imperial TIE pilot (see the Imperial version of this thread), but it want to make anything to tedious or to long. With Regards, Psych.
  5. Note: See Raith Danar entry for more explanation of background. Appearance: Species: Adult Human Male Height: 1.7 meters Hair color: Black, Ice Blue streaks Eyes: Vibrant Blue Dray Naraya was the commander of 1 of 18 TIE Defender squadron sent to stop the escape of the Dark Invader. He and his personal squadron were the only TIEs to escape unscathed and alive. His wing commander was the only other pilot to escape alive. They plotted short hyperdrive jumps from system to system until being picked up by an Imperial Star Destroyer, known as the Death's Head. He has a powerful lust for revenge against former Imperial Admiral Raith Danar, made alll the more personal by the fact that they were best friends before Raith's defection. He has become a cold and callous killer, dealing death from both his Defender and with his modified blaster carbine. He now leads a squad of Imperial Commandos who were formerly TIE pilots before being shot down. Stats: Leadership: 70 (30) Combat: 85 (10) Espionage: 90 (20) Diplomacy: 10(10) Force: 1% chance. Ship design: no Facility design: no Troop training: no Admiral: no General: no Commander: yes? PS: If anyone interested, stats and various details can be changed at your wish-I just ask that it is done with my full knowledge.[/i]
  6. Appearance: Species: Adult Human Male Height: 1.8 meters Hair color: Jet Black Eyes: Ice Blue Daith Ranar was once a young, popular, well trained high potential Imperial Admiral with a knack for using lesser forces to defeat superior opponents who served aboard the newly commissioned highly secret ImpStar Deuce Dark Invader, which was used to protect a highly secret TIE Defender production facility. He used a highly advanced state-of-the-art communications system to monitor the goings on in the Empire. When Thrawn took command, Admiral Ranar was one of the first to know. He researched Thrawn, and the what little he could gather indicated that Thrawn was a power-mad incredibly powerful military strategist. But when the Victory Class Star Destroyer Black Remora, serving alongside the Dark Invader returned to Imperila space seeking Thrawn, it was ambushed and destroyed for an unknown reason. Daith hypothesized that Thrawn thought he was on the Black Remora and was probably right. he convinced his crew to change sides, but on their way out system, the local base commander decided to disagree with Raith's decision and launched three full wings of TIE Defenders at Raith's ship. Raith was eventually forced to abandon his ship and flee with most of his crew in hyperdrive-equiped shuttles to the nearest New Republic planet, leaving behind the Dark Invader to crash into the Imperial base. Raith only hopes that none of the TIE pilots managed to escape. Stats: Leadership: 130 (30) Combat: 90 (20) Espionage: 60 (10) Diplomacy: 63 (10) Force: 10% chance. Ship design: no Facility design: no Troop training: no Admiral: yes General: no Commander: yes PS: If anyone interested, stats and various details can be changed at your wish-I just ask that it is done with my full knowledge.
