Empire alternate Time line Options Op-1 -The Empire wins at Yavin. Leia, Luke, Han, Wedge, Gen. Dodana, are all killed. -Wedge and the Y-Wing pilot both escape in their damaged ships and rejoin the rebellion elsewhere. -Variations in which Han doesn't come back to save Luke, or does and gets killed. -Mon Mothma and Garm Bel Iblis both continue their separate Rebellions against the Empire. Op-2 -The Empire storms Hoth without giving the Rebels time to prepare to escape. -The main characters are all captured or killed. -Variations in which part of Rogue squadron escapes. Op-3 -The main characters are all captured or killed at Bespin. (Techinically the Rebellion could still win at Endor despite this.) Op-4 -Rebellion loses Battle of Endor. -Luke captured or Killed. Posibility of Vader killed or wounded. -Variations in which Han, Leia, and some remains of the fleet escape. (A-Wings) -(Imperial fleet totaly pwns the Ssi-ruuk.) Op-5 -Empire loses at Endor but does not fragment. (Unlikley) Op-5.1 -Empire loses at Endor but does not fragment. (Unlikley) -(The Ssi-ruuk still get owned.) -Rebels and Imps unable to make significant inroads against the other. Stalemate. Op-6 -New Republic takes Coruscant and is decimated by the Krytos plague. -Empire loyalists massing at Kuat retake Curuscant with little resistance. Op-6.1 -New Republic takes Coruscant and is decimated by the Krytos plague. -Zsinj takes Coruscant before the Imperial loyalists can. (Wow that would really mess things up when 'ol Palpy comes back.) Op-7 -Thrawn whups 'em. -Jorus C'boath get's Han and Leia's kids (Now things are really starting to get messed up.) Op-8 -Dark Empire. -Palpy whups 'em early. Op-8.1 -Dark Empire. -Palpy whups 'em, but is still forced to take over Baby Anakin Solo. Op-9 -Exar Kun turns the Jedi students to the Dark Dide. -Luke killed, Kyp becomes the new Lord of the Sith. -and um... somehow takes over the galaxy? I don't know, if it couldn't get done in Dark Empire it's just not getting done. Op-10 -Some, all, or many of the above. I think it was GAT that pointed out the possibility of an eventual Chiss vs Empire scenario if the Empire continued it's pro-human policies in the unknownregions. The whole creation of a New Sith Order. With the occasional one going rogue and turning Jedi. The methods used by the Vong forces infiltrating and scouting the galaxy before the invasion could turn out differently. Detected by Sith agents before hand? Or going completely unnoticed. Then there's the opening invasion assault. I figured that the Vong could (with proper infiltration and sabotage) conceal the extent of their invasion for the opening three months. Nothing longer than that. Yaga Minor and Bastion have to fall fast, and that's going to draw lots of attention. My analysis suggested disguising the attacks on those two locations to look like they had been hit by extreamist Rebel elements to confuse Imperial scouting parties. The strength of the Sith and the Emperor; the strength of any remaining Rebel elements, and the tactics the Vong decide to use will dramatically effect any outcome. EDIT: Oh yeah forgot; Droid fighters would be much more common and would be likley linked to operate in tandem with human pilots a-la the false 181st squadron assembled by Zsinj.

Ship Request: Battlestar Galactica

Original BSG? http://www.starshipmodeler.com/tech/galactica/galactica_06.jpg http://www.soliumstudios.com/sol-gallery/galleryimages/model-battlestar.jpg Or the new BSG? http://www.starshipbuilder.com/bsg2003/BSG_Apr28_001sm.jpg http://www.starshipbuilder.com/bsg2003/BSG_Apr28_005sm.jpg (Larger Images) http://www.starshipbuilder.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000001.html -
I'm a bit of a Trekker- Warsie I guess. Don't like the Star Trek TOS much. And I hate 'Enterprise' more than a Bothan hates fleas.

The last time we had this descussion was in the "Battle for Coruscant Imperial NJO Era." In which we tried to conceptualise an alternate time line in which the Empire won the Galactic Civil War. http://www.swrebellion.com/forums/postt2883.html (I soon realised that it becomes a major issue on when and how the Rebellion is defeated. ) Of course with that last debate what I was mainly trying to do was force a mass conflict at Coruscant between Vong and Imp forces. (I got bored and never finished my full tactical analysis.) I did find out that it would be unlikely but not impossible to force that kind of comflict. And since we never got arround to actuall 'fair fight' we never figured out what would really happen. Inevitably the descussion was reduced to "PWNED BY TEH D3AtH S7AR(s)!" EDIT: *Pulls out the Defibrillator* Well angelus? Shall we revive it? I've just worked out some Empire alternate Time Line Options.

I told him to make a Freelancer Mod thread in the Rebellion Editing section. -
Yahoo!: Sorry, the page you requested was not found. So what did you do to things like the weapons stats on the ISD and SSD?

I didn't know where else to post this so this seemed the best place considering. Does anyone know a "KarrMcDebt" ? http://www.swrebellion.com/forums/modules.php?name=Forums&file=profile&mode=viewprofile&u=6178 He sent me a PM and seems to think I'm some kind of Star Wars Rebellion master Modder ... or something. (Which y'know, I'm not.) I'm just wondering if anyone else got similar mysterious PM's. -
I don't think that applies just to the states. We used to have one of those in town. The bank got rid of it after the King Street Toughies tried to break it open the third or fourth time. I love it. I cant believe I never really noticed that before.

DWI... ouch. Hmm, I don't know what to say. You're screwed? You can start with kissing your drivers licence good bye. Especially with a repeat offence. That's the way things are here anyways and our laws tend to not be too different from the states. I reccomend a bus pass and some sort of frequent Taxi points if your local cab company has them.

*Little girl scream* Make it stop! Make it stop! Btw DarthTex, I though the thing with the house cat's diary was hilarious.

Ship Request: Yuuzhan Vong Cruisers
Defender_16 replied to Defender_16's topic in Rebellion Model Editing
Finally found some time. I've been looking all over the place in the downloads section but I haven't been able to find vakundok's bmpconverter anywhere. Am I looking in the wrong place? Is it part of another program? EDIT: *SLAPS Forehead* Crap! it's part of the model exchange(-er) download. No wonder it seemed like I had seen the program before. You can go about your business. Move along, move along. -
Holy Crap! That's awesome! A Cell shaded style texture. I love it.

BadSams' Sci-Fi Battle Royal, I.5: Fett vs. Batman
Defender_16 replied to BadSamaritan's topic in Outside Interests
Aww man! I hope that was the George Clooney Batman. Most of the others seem atleast somewhat competent. Hmm... is there some kind of battle where we could match somone up against a character from Gladiator? -
You just asked one. But feel free to ask another.

Woo! I always wanted to play that Indiana Jones Desktop adventure.

Ship Request: Yuuzhan Vong Cruisers
Defender_16 replied to Defender_16's topic in Rebellion Model Editing
I was just joking arround about the Frigate. Cut down the number of topside spines. About seven spines would be good using the smaller topside ones. Toss the big central topside one. Move two to the underside if possible. All of these spines and armatures are stuck onto the outer shell. Really, alot of this is dependant upon getting a larger verion of Krytos's model to build off of. EDIT: Arg. This still isn't really clear. Give me some time to organise something. I just woke up. Let me try and find some modeling programs or something... yeah. -
Ship Request: Yuuzhan Vong Cruisers
Defender_16 replied to Defender_16's topic in Rebellion Model Editing
(Whenever I type one of these long, multi-picure posts that are carefully worded to not tick anyone off, the 'submit' button always yields the results "The page can not be displayed" GAH!!^%$#@ ) Over the course of today I've been looking over and comparing the current Yuuzhan Vong ship models. I've found that they don't really match too well. (I wish I knew what great words I'd used to say that before.) I've drawn up some comparisons using screen captures of the two models and some drawing sketches to more accurately depict what the current model looks like. This is necessary because I have been unable to take a screen capture of the Heavy Cruiser Analog other than the nifty texturing. http://web.ripnet.com/~jdprosper/NJO%20Ship%20Design.GIF As you can see the two models are radically different. (I remember using radically different.) I'm sorry that I haven't gotten arround to comparing the availible models until recently, I had been fairly busy so it didn't seem important before. Below are screen shots of some of the ship cards pictures I'm going to be using in the Mod. I still have to look up again who acually modified these pictures into their separate cards. http://web.ripnet.com/~jdprosper/NJO%20Ship%20Design3%20Cards.GIF The topmost one is what I've been using for the Frigate and Light Cruiser Analog. The Middle one is the Matalok with Krytos' model next to it. The lowest one is a Heavy Cruiser Analog. (Note the picture of the HC-Analog is missing many of the spines and armatures that are described in the books to be found on ships of it's type. The person who modified the picture was likley working with what they could using the Matalok. ) (This is the part where I said;) FEAR NOT FOR ALL IS NOT LOST! I have an idea. All we need to do is make the two types of ship more similar to each other. For starters the Matalok needs more mass, it had to be 'taller' or fatter. The length and width are fine but the 'height' needs to be bumped up, say by about 60% or more. http://web.ripnet.com/~jdprosper/NJO%20Ship%20Design2.GIF The spines and armatures that are on the current Heavy Cruiser are perfect. The texture and shape are fine for them. Since the Heavy is essentially just a larger verion of the Matalok, all that needs to be done is lengthen the fatter Matalok with a few segments and make it a bit wider. After that current spines can be put on it but in a different direction. Instead of pointing more up and inward they can be rotated to point outward more. Following the curve of the main body. Sorry Mad, the rock textures are perfect just the shape of the ship isn't really... yeah. I hope you guys don't totally hate me now. EDIT: btw Mad, there was something familliar about the bow of your frigate that's been nagging at me all day. I finally figured out what it was. http://www.sandcastlevi.com/images/scifi_startrek/tos2-035.jpg Rofl. EDIT2: Oh yeah. I also ment to say I was going to start looking into Masks modeling tutorials and see if I can get hold of some of the programs needed. -
I did but I got tons of gift certificates.

Everyone needs a good money grab every now and then. It's all part of getting rid of the excess stuff that the retailers didn't sell before Christmas. Now they have to unload all of it any way possible to make room in their storage centers. Everyone knows what that means... DISCOUNT PRICES! Heck yeah! Now I can get all of those Christmas presents that my relatives wouldn't get me because they were too expensive. Like 1GB Jump Drives, and Music CD's by groups nobody's ever heard of.

Hey first time poster lots-a-questions
Defender_16 replied to angelus512's topic in General Discussion
Hmm... I've never actually tried that on a headquarters game before. I've blown up Coruscant lots of times on the regular game type, normally after the population decides they want the Rebellion to run things. People of Coruscant: We want the Rebels! Palpatine: If you will not be turned, you will be destroyed. *presses com button* Palpatine: Fire at will Commander. http://www.theforce.net/swtc/Pix/dvd/zs/anh/dsbeam3.jpg -
Man, I can't even keep up with the scenarios that I already have. I can't have people just expanding any old random boundary of knowledge. Welcome to the forums btw.
