Alright, here's a funnier one. Just to make sure that you get it: A refresher on the Westboro Baptist Church Crazy fools.... Uno! Dose! Tres! Quatro! Sinco! Enjoy, folks. If nobody else, AI ought to get a kick out of it.

If you instal Forces of Corruption and Empire at War on your computer and put the EaW disk in, can you still play the Forces of Corruption expansion pack? Also, will it work the other way (IE: You can play EaW with only the Forces of Corruption disk in the drive if both are installed) I have a friend who bought Empire at War in the Best of PC set, and I proposed that if he let me borrow the game to instal it, I'd buy Forces of Corruption, and hopefully we could both use the expansion pack and the game, all for the price of only buying one game each. Will it work?

A Republican from Texas?! Now I've heard everything! *Falls over laughing* You know, based on political sociology, the fact that Tex is apparently older than dirt and a Republican indicates one of three things: 1) He's rather wealthy. 2) He's not really as old as he claims to be. 3) He's in the minority so far as political socialization tendancies go for his age group. I was under the impression that studies showed aging normally makes people become more conservative... According to my textbook younger voters are more liberal, middle adged folks are more conservatives, and the "Gray Army" of senior citizens tend to be more liberal. These are, of course, subject to such things as the political attitudes those you live with have, the political attitudes of one's home State, etc. However, the age thing is fairly succesful in predicting voting patterns. Something in the area of 70-80% of the people in the age groups fit the the projections for their voting patterns. (I'd actually check the numbers, but I'm developing a steadily increasing hatred for that textbook.) -
OOC: Me: Hmm, I think I'll get some homework done, now. Just a quick troll of the forums, first... Krytos: Hmm, I think I'll post an update to the RP today. Me: Damn it, Krytos! I have homework! How inconsiderate of you not to read my mind from half way around the globe and realize that!

I dig through my personal library, notes, journals, and papers to write up the exact words from Polybius and Livy and then a short analysis and the best you can do is say, "Nuh uh!" Hehe- I can see Luke saying that. "I duel with the Dark Lord of the Sith, get my hand chopped off, and have to force a mangled confession out of a crazy Jedi Master to find out whether Vader was really my father or not, and all this time you claim you'd already informed me of it from a CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW?!?!?" "Yup, pretty much. Dang, they make much nicer mechanical hands nowdays than they used to!"

So according to Hardball with Chris Matthews yesterday the present Democratic ranking is: Hillary Clinton (35%) Barrack Obama (sp?) (25%) everyone else: Way down yonder. Matthews mentioned something about Obama and his twenty-five percent being a spoiler for other Democratic candidates. If anything, the other candidates may well be spoilers for him. It kind of makes me wonder if they might not play politics in a similar manner to those in Destiny's Way. -
[singsong Voice] It's a world of laughter, a world of love... [/singson Voice] I slipped on wet, melted frost the other day and turned my right leg black and blue from knee to buttox. Not fun, especially when you're frequently running late for classes on the other side of the school. If you want to feel warm read Lost Moon. Once you finish up with the part where they're all freezing their arses off the temperature around you will feel nice and toasty.

Did the Battle of Thermopolies feature Roran at the Bridge or someone else whose name started with an "R" at a bridge of some sort? My dad and I were discussing the movie and he mentioned some soldier in some war or another who stood on a bridge much like the bridge of Kazad Dun (sp?) which the enemy could only cross one at a time. He then pulled a Gandalf/Ganner Rhysode and attacked man after man as they tried to pass, though I'm fairly certain that he niether blew up the bridge nor killed every last attacker. He did, however, blow his horn when he knew he was going to die soon. Which makes me think that LOTR might have stolen a fair amount of material from history and just stuck in new factions and people and the like, and mixed battles and such up.

Haha, I always put down a fake company name on programs I install: "Krytos Interactive" I'll pass you onto to the employment department, just prepare a resume and portfolio and we'll organise an interview. Do you live near Victoria I'd apply too, but somehow I think people would notice that I got all of my 3D stuff from google and Microsoft Paint...

What? No SSDs in EaW (The regular version) N()()()()()000000000OOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!1oneeleventy-one! *Sigh* I'm splitting the "Best of PC" pack with a friend, and I already called dibs on EaW since he has his sights set on KOTOR I (I already have it, but he doesn't know that. Gives me more bargaining weight if I pretend it's hard to give it to him ) Ah well... Here's hoping it's still decent. The demo was good, at any rate. I'll see how it is in about a week... Maybe I'll fork up an extra twenty so that I can get the expansion... Speaking of which: Can you play the game with only the expansion CD in the drive, or do you need the game CD in the drive?

Gore is getting up there, now? A couple of weeks ago he had only, like, 8% of the vote. He was only a step in front of John Kerry if I recall correctly... That's quite a leap for him. -
That would be steccato, mate. Legato is the precise opposite- flowing smoothly. Steccato is short, sharp, and choppy. If you ever listen to, say, Pictures at an Exhbition, you can note that the intro is legato (the trumpet bit) while, say, The Hut of Babba Yagga (That's the name of the section- I'm not making it up) is steccato. Those of you who actually know the proper spellings of the Italian words, forgive my poor ones.

Well who tells that padophillians are only men. Disgusting news! *Runs off to puke in the toilet* Right after I ate, too... Jeeze...

Questions about (1) fleet battles (2) keyboard shortcuts
DarthTofu replied to generik's question in Questions from Newbies
The buttons for nax points are on the side bar. There are four of them, and you have to press them before they will appear on the screen. They're somewhere in the middle area of the interface. To utalize them select a fleet group, capital ship, and/or squadron and right click on the marker where you want to send them. It should change color as they start to move there. -
No snow here since... A really, really long time ago. Probably the tail end of the ice age. Well, no, that's not entirely true. There's been just a little north of here (Kennedy Space Center reported a couple o' inches last year) and we've been having record low temperatures lately. It's probably only a matter of time, especially since it supposedly went into the twenties last night. Brr! (Ferenheit. I'm not that much of a cold weenie! Though I'll admit that I am a fairly big one) There's been frost on the windows lately, too... Come on- snow for me, weather! Snow!

The +5 visibilty T-shirt is a recurring shirt, I'm pretty sure... I've used it multiple times...

Saw the preview yesterday: Preview: "Our arrows will be so many that you shall not see the sun!" "Then we shall fight in the shade!" Me: "Oh my..." Friend: "What?" Me: "I just translated a poem with those exact words in Latin I a week ago!" Preview: "Tonight we dine in hell!" Me: "It did it again! Holy FSM, it did it again!" Looks rather cool in terms of fighting, but it'll probably rely a lot on CGI. I think it'll be a lot like the Cronicles of Riddick (sp?)

Here you go, Eagle. I assume that it only comes down when he's actively tracking targets. Quite the impressive helmet he has, there...

I'd assume it's a transiever or comm antenna of some sort. That's what it looks like, anyway. I'm too lazy to click you links, so I'll ask the stupid question- did you check wookiepedia?

Sorry to hear that Rob, but my transportation can go just about anywhere, anytime; mostly because it has four hoof drive (I didn't say it was fast though) That's because Tex is The Ghost Rider! Here are both of his rides! Sorry- just saw the movie and one of the most bad-ass scenes is of Caretaker revealing that he was a Ghost Rider 200 some odd years ago, and setting his skull aflame, along with making his horse rather awesomely demonic. The character as a whole reminded me of Tex. The movie as a whole reminded me of an only semi-decently written fanfiction story.

"One ring to find them, and in the dark to bind them..." Of course! It was a wedding ring! The one ring to rule them all- the wedding ring, indicating that a woman now dominates all aspects of your life! That art just made it apparent to me!

Korea agreed? When did that happen? Granted, I haven't had time to watch the news lately... My responce when I heard that Iran had a cure for AIDS: Oh crap, they've got nuclear weapons working already?!? -
Oh snap-sizzle! This will make things very interesting given that now everyone who's left behind DNA gets to fight themselves. Plus my guy, who's already struggling with the large number of disfigurements he's experianced, get's to face a fully-biological him... Me... Whatever. Right. I'll try to finish up my filler some time. It won't be quite as funny as Krytos's (Honestly, I love some of that dialog, mate!) but it'll still be decent. Hopefully. My first attempt in a while to write something with little to no combat involved...
