  1. I'm not sure if its Freelancer, but I deffinately remember seeing a game very similar to this with two journel enteries or something, one of a failing buisness that turns a merchant into a pirate, one of the same merchant who works for a giant company, becoming prosperous and hunting down pirates, or something along the lines. Looked like a cool concept. Only issue is that I have no clue how you pay on line companies, or I might try it...
  2. lol. To quote Ghandi "We have a duty as man to study all religion without contempt or prejudice, taking from it that which will make us a better person to our fellow man"... Or something along those lines. That much said, no one is trying to convert anyone here, and arguments are not meant to arise from this as to whether or not there is a god or other higher force. Just wondering, who was the Buddhist? Rock on, man!
  3. That's what the 'edit' button is for
  4. I guess so... I just wonder why we would have been made in teh first place. I mean, picture this, you have all power and are alone in the Universe. YOu can create a son of your own if you want to keep you company, but instead you descide to make a race of people below you. Why?
  5. Per chance did you just need to actually click on the star clusters?
  6. Count me in with the Maulers. He was pretty awesome with the doublke bladed lightsaber and all- so much more could have been done with him... So much more... Rest in pieces, Zabrack buddy. Oh, wait, I meant peace
  7. Like making noise while breathing in and breathing out as opposed to taking a breath when you need one?
  8. Yeah, well, my sister needs no egging on to be annoying.
  9. Balat Ke Tardan Not much is known about this mysterious fighter pilot. He arrived in Imperial space piloting an odd, slow, and cumbersom craft that no one had ever seen before. In it he managed to destroy one TIE fighter before he crash landed on the nearby planet. Officials there captured him, and replaced his missing limbs with synthetic ones after a ruthless interrigation that did not reveal where he came from. Due to increased lag time, the prostetic limbs caused his career as a pilot to end instantly, though he still has a good head for fighter coordination. With his dreams as a pilot crushed, he pledged allegiance to those who had treated him with pity when he attacked them and taught him the style of basic which they understood. In a quest to gain honor he joined a squad of Imperial commandos, quickly climbing through the ranks to a high position. He is an excellent fighter, and very good at remaining undetected. Diplomacy: 0 (20) Combat 85 (5) Espionage: 100 (10) Leadership: 88 Admiral: no General: yes Commander: yes Ship design: no Troop training: yes Facility design: no Appearance: Adumari male with black hair, several scars, and a pockmarked face.
  10. Is there (Ahem) any chance that you'll be putting cheat codes in the game in case you were too succesful with the AI? Currently its beating the crap out of me on "hard"... So yeah.
  11. You missunderstand. I'm the younger sibling, here. I'm gonna show her that you were hitting on her, Tex. And I'll laugh.
  12. No, no, see, a human still stands out distinctly. If you read anything that has to do with the force, like the Young Jedi Knight books (Yeah, I was young when I read them) you will see creatures identified through the force. Thus if you draw the force around you so that it doesn't expand, you cannot be detected through the force, which makes you seem to not be there.
  13. Alto... Sax...? Must, kill, non B flat instrument... GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! KILL KILL KILL!!!!!! DIEDIEDIE!!!! Sorry, had to get that out of my system- in my experiance all people in E flat or concert pitch are ass holes... Well, they are, honestly, I have yet to find a decent flute or percussion person out there! Though these Didgeroo things may be exceptions. Can you play any tunes on it, yet?
  14. So if electricity is derived from electrons, I guess this is proof that Morality is derived from morons... And I gotta agree with Rob about all his stuff there- I have no problem with any religious people (Other than KKK people), though I do kinda feel for 'em. After all, we atheists have more stuff than anyone else written fown about our belief- there are the blank pages at the end of the bible, the blank pages at the end of textbooks, the staticy part when a movie ends...
  15. Okay, I know what you're thinking- "He's trying to convert us! Somebody get this retard off the site!" No, actually, that isn't this is just a theory that I want to test to see how Science Fiction Fans are with religion. As you know, there is no reason that you have to reply to this or answer the pole, or confirm anything (I swear, I won't kill anyone... Especially since I don't know where you all live to kill you...) Anyway, what's everybody's religion? Personally I have no problem saying I'm an atheist.
  16. No, wrong Sith lord. I'm talking the guy on yavin, thus a gijillion-year-old Sith Lord. And all living things except uzhan Vong exist in the force (Why the hell the Yuzhan Vong don't is anyone's guess... Unless it says why later in the NJO books... Really have to get past Dark journey...). Anyway, if you see someone and they don't exist in the force, then they are either A) a holo or B) not really there. You can detect non-force-users, but you can't detect people who hide themselves in the force. See, if you can't sense them in the force, then you know that they're wrapping it around themselves. See? Or can you at least pretend to see so that I can finally say "See, look, I won an argument with somebody, see?"
  17. I play clarinet in marching band. I also play Tenor Saxophone and Bass clarinet, but only for concert season with the base, and for nothing special with the sax (Just wanted to learn to play the "star wars" theme song on that. Which I know, if anyone wants the notes and is a band geek like me ) So now the woodwinds, brass, and WTF instruments are all represented! How do you change notes with a Didgeridoo? I don't see any fingering spots, so I'm going to assume that it's like a brass instrument, just without range. Though if it does require fingering knowledge, I can tell you up front that learning and remembering fingerings is easy enough- its trying to play them at fifty-miles-an-hour that hard (Or kilometers and hour, for the rest of the world). Oh yeah, that and playing in tune... Anyway, good luck with it. Drive your neighbors nuts!
  18. When did Mon Mothma die? I just remembered reading that the Mon mothma was named after "The late Mon Mothma" in Rebel Dream, I think, which made me go "huh? When did she die?" Hense this topic.
  19. Good to hear! So were the Star Destroyers the only things that are tricked out in the pics, or did you mess with that Mon Cal and the Assault thingy-magiger that's name I can't remember?
  20. That- that's just sick, man. Please tell me you live nowhere near Stanford... Please, for the love of all creation!
  21. Woah, back up there- how is three gillion year-old sith lord "half-trained" in the force?
  22. Oh, don't even get me started on that movie... I t was without a doubt the dumbest piece of crap this nation has ever come up with, second only to our greetings of Japanese Ambassadors. "Konichiwa, Mr. K- *Heave*!"
  23. THough thank god he didn't use Mark Hammil or Jake Loyd over again! Wow... I have to watch the movie again...
  24. Donaven. Walter Donaven. I think. I dunno, actually...
  25. Madre de Christo! I mean, son of a bitch! That is fucking awesome! Look out, Rebs, here I come with a pimped out SSD!
