  1. DO IT!!!!!!! It's a lot of fun! The miss' and I went on a geocache quest today. Also, speaking of the miss', our wedding is almost a month away! ZOMG!
  2. I'm not sure if anyone else has heard of this, but I have recently gotten into the hobby known as geocaching (here is the official site.) It's a world-wide database (broken down by country) where people bury geocaches, and then list the GPS coordinates. Using a GPS device, you track down the hidden cache and log your visit. Usually there are also little trinkets inside, and you can bring your own to add to the collection. I've done one each of the past two days (as there are a bunch in my town alone), and it's been a fun little adventure. The first adventure The second adventure Like I said, it's a hobby that is enjoyed world-wide, so I'm curious to see if anyone else here has heard of it or done it.
  3. Yeah, I was bored one day at work.
  4. The Wood Devil Deep in the forests of the Northeast Lives an incredibly horrible beast At least ten feet tall it stands And can lift a boulder in the palm of its hands The body is covered in a short, coarse fur of gray This creature is rarely seen by the light of day It pierces the pitch night with its eyes of crimson red The odor of the beast fills the forest with dread But if you happen to hear an eerie howl at night Know that the Wood Devil is watching, somewhere out of sight
  5. Thus it is the beginning of the end
  6. In a few days I'll be heading up to Boston for PAX East, seeing how it is only a mere three hours from my apartment. Looking forward to being an uber nerd for the weekend!
  7. Looks like I'll be spending my honeymoon with the miss'...AND BILLY DEE WILLIAMS!!!
  8. Minor NSFW, but awesome!
  9. That hiking plan sounds pretty sweet. Just watch out for Sasquatch on the trail...and crazy hillbillys...
  10. HAHAHA that would be the coolest mascot ever!
  11. Happy B-Day Tofu! Dang, I still can't get over what a young whipper-snapper you are (as Tex would say)! Enjoy!
  12. Hey, as long as I get a pic with myself giving Chewie a high-five, I'll be happy. Though I do agree with your lack of interest in the Clone Wars crud.
  13. The miss' and I will be hitting up Walt Disney World in June for our honeymoon. I was looking over some sites, and it just so happens we will be down there for: Star Wars Weekend!!!
  14. Well, you got some sweet games out of it, so its all good!
  15. Wow! That thing looks nuts.
  16. Meet Odin Edit: Star Wars T-Shirts Of course theres an "Its a Trap" one!
  17. Borderlands was a heck of a lot of fun. I rented it through Gamefly for awhile. I have been tempted to by it, but with all the DLC they are popping out for it, Im holding out for a (very possible) game of the year edition that will have it all included for the same price. Prototype is on my list of games to eventually rent. I played a bit of it at my friends house, and it was fun. Reminded me of InFamous. Right now Im being sucked into Bioshock 2, which is a blast. They took all that was the first game, tweaked a few things to make them better, and then released it. Its freakin awesome!!!
  18. I dont do PC games. I would rather spend my money on a console then on buying a higher end PC to play games. I current laptop can barely handle Rebellion as it is...
  19. Mass Effect is the only reason I want a 360...
  20. Im excited for Bioshock 2 which I'll be snagging tomorrow!!!
  21. Crazy guy doing a video dating service taping.
  22. I find those puppets very disturbing...
  23. Saw Avatar last week. I enjoyed it, though I despised the "original thought" they put behind naming "unobtainium." I definitely recommend it.
  24. Yeah, I have about 75% of the trophies. The game definitely requires three full playthroughs to get each class to level 20, plus you get the trophy for getting "intimate" with someone and for making major decisions. I played through all six of the origin stories to get their trophies. But yeah, it is definitely story-driven, which I love. That was my problem with Sacred 2. While I loved the gameplay, there was absolutely no story to go with at all.
  25. Anyone else check out Dragon Age: Origins. Its on the two major consoles, as well as PC. Its a pretty good RPG with some great replayability. Im on my second playthrough with a mage, I had finished the game last week with my warrior. Its definitely one of the better RPGs on the PS3 (next to Sacred 2 of course...)
