If it can be coded to work on Microsoft's XBox 360, it can be run on a PC. The Havoc and Euphoria engines scream for a PC. Sadly I think this has to do with preventing piracy more than anything else. I doubt we'd see a PC version until the consoles have run their course and they have no further profits to gain.

Actually, what I've read says that only the XBox 360 and the PS3 will run the Havoc and Euphoria engines that make the game really innovative. The Wii will get a special 'duel' mode instead, but I don't think it would look as great as the other versions.

The router may be dropping packets? If his home network is unreliable, he may have problems with other games, downloads, etc.

It's content that draws people more than anything else. Yes we can have moderators and forums... but if there's nothing to talk about, its a mute point. SWR survives because it is the (only) source for Rebellion modding. If EaW still has a modding community, I could see people coming to PFF for that.

I can help you build it if you know what kind of site you want. But figuring out what you want to do, I leave those administration to someone else.

Man I've been playing Supreme Commander too much - if there was a way to do synchronized attacks like SupCom, that would be awesome. Getting some of the nice strategy-level controls and AI into the 3d environment of Homeworld, that would be my perfect game

I edited your subject to be more appropriate and moved it into the correct section. While our members have various opinions, most of us here would say that Empire at War does not live up to be a Rebellion sequel. Not to say it is a bad game, but it doesn't not have the same depth and complexity as Rebellion. For that reason, we leave a Rebellion 2 ideas forum open - to see what our members would want and to encourage a true Rebellion sequel product to be made (whether by the open community or even LucasArts, though we doubt LucasArts would ever do it)

This is a thread to talk about your computer hardware and troubles... Like mine ------------------------ My own machine I used for Windows Home Server seems to have died. The P4 in it works fine in another system, but that one does not have all the ports to support my hard drives. My requirements for a motherboard - Has Windows Server 2003 drivers for Windows Home Server - Supports Pentium 4 LGA 775 (Core 2 Duo support is a plus) - Has TWO IDE slots (ala support for 4 ATA drives) - Has FOUR SATA slots (more is obviously a plus) - Integrated graphics is a plus - eSATA port is a plus Something that I can that is available at Newegg or Fry's is preferred... at a good price. Hard to search for one with the two IDE slots, but that's a requirement for me because I'm running 4x500 GB ATA drives. Any suggestions?

What are the specs on your computer? It takes hours.. days for most projects to finish. That's okay. Sometimes you'll get some shorter ones and sometimes you'll get longer ones. I have 5 computers at home I use for folding. And the SWR server is folding too.
