  1. Never heard of them before... but interesting SW material Star Wars VII
  2. What have you used? Mine is
  3. Mario Explains Relationships hahaha
  4. Seamless... battles should be a part of the one game universe, not as a side event that you can auto-battle. Again, see Sins of a Solar Empire
  5. Well consider he's in one of the few areas that is summer weather (ala, not the northern hemisphere)
  6. Sorry I haven't been watching this month. Dooku Captured? Really? I'm watching Filoni's commentary and believe he's just wrong. We've seen Dooku show incredible skill. I don't know why he would ever be defeated by pirates, much less have them take his lightsaber behind his back. Better, Dooku could have just taken the pirate ship from the start, even without his weapons. He's a frakin Sith Lord. Is anyone else scratching their head on this one like I am?
  7. He's had his say. This isn't a thread for advertising, esp with no actual content
  8. You're not one of the people still using XP 64-bit are you? Could be a problem as same as the Vista 64-bit folks
  9. Ditto ditto viewtopic.php?f=7&t=27461
  10. I don't understand, if this is a Star Wars game, how you can have this policy
  11. Perhaps use the system that Empire at War uses, where Rebels can sneak through a strike force behind enemy lines. They can't send a large force, but then.. you shouldn't need to in order to disrupt critical systems.
  12. Very cool ideas. I like the idea of maintenance, as long as it isn't too much micromanagement. I guess it will take some testing to determine how it will affect the gameplay.
  13. Windows 7
  14. In terms of an interface, I believe Sins of a Solar Empire has it down. The galaxy interface works well and puts the tactical combat + galactic view in one zoom-able interface. The only thing it doesn't have is characters, units, missions, diplomacy... Would love to have research and the various submenus as part of the main interface rather than separate windows. Take a look at Sins, see if you can adapt some of their good points.
  15. I personally never liked the jump anywhere approach. It does not give any strategy to territory borders, which you would have in the "real" Star Wars universe. While a simple line may not be great gameplay, having multiple fronts for attack and defense would provide plenty of choices to consider. And it would stop ships from staying in hyperspace from one end of the galaxy to the other (you'd hope to get resources at some point, otherwise your crew would starve)
  16. Pretty sure Acclamators have already been covered - they are considered colony ships in Sins and thus are not selected with the rest of the fleet.
  17. Sorry there is nothing we can do about that. You'll have to talk to Stardock about the patches
  18. There will be a lot of balancing done, esp when research gets implemented. For now, consider this a test of imported ships - I suggest reporting bugs related to the actual ship models and such that isn't already noted. Gameplay fixes and balancing will come later.
  19. If you have any errors, please contact me with them PM or Feedback form
  20. I can't imagine how that would scale into Homeworld 2. But it would be an awesome backdrop to a Battle of Mon Calamari
  21. I think there's a quote somewhere about it. Yes the spaceship fights were modeled directly on WW2 films. It is what Lucas wanted. So yes, he copies them
  22. You've never heard of TheOnion? Yes it is a parody... but so well done. They really have a great production crew
  23. Right, RebED was not designed with models in-mind. You could try also extracting models from the original DLLs on the Rebellion disk, but I don't know if that will work.
  24. You may need to do a full DLL restore using RebED
  25. Over the holidays, I beat... And I played...
