Eville is still working on setting up the repository. Once we get a structure that we can start working with, you guys can go in and start. This is kind-of how imagine things will work. Eville can correct me if I'm wrong There will be three roles - Developers: have full access to commit to the repository and close out bugs in bug tracker. Basically these are the guys that are making significant code changes - Content providers: probably won't have access to commit unless they are doing major changes (GUI complete revamp, etc). This may include providers of sounds, images, and other content. They will get read-only access to repository to the work-in-progress - Testers: will only get read-only to the repository to test. Can see private work-in-progress projects and file bug reports that may be private, targeted to a future release For everyone, you'll need an account on the Mantis bug tracker - http://warlords.swrebellion.com/mantis and an account on this forum obviously. For those developers working on code, you'll need a Subversion client. TortoiseSVN is the one I use... free and integrates into Windows Explorer. http://tortoisesvn.net/ We'll also have to set you guys up with a login/pass you want to use to access our repository. As Mantis already has project information and changelog set up, I would like to see it used for more project tracking. If there are features you are working on, file it on Mantis and set a target project. When its completed, you can close it and Mantis will show on the changelog. (So you're not technically filing a "bug", but a feature unavailable or something) We can still use this forum for general discussions and project coordination as needed
