  1. True. Mad is well-informed. About this game coming out, when where and how much? Is he an opponent?! That game sounds cool already. I'll look into it more today!
  2. Mad? Are you making fun of me? 100 eccentric males in this forum! How many of your novels have single main character females?
  3. Very eloquently stated Thrawn! Do you do debating in some league? Those were some well-thought out arguments!
  4. I watched Joe DIrt on TV the other night. Talk about stupid and a waste of my life!!! Not even David Spade could save that one!
  5. Not an exact date, but it comes out in November 04. It's not gonna be anything like war of the ring, its gonna be way better. this is no ordinary rts. the units are gonna have emotions, and die realistically. it'll be worth getting!
  6. What? You guys are funny! "If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you."
  7. I've seen it. Pretty funny! I like Oblivious. Thats a pretty cool show. If you dont know what it is, its where a guy asks people questions while he pretends to do something (like a bug exterminator etc) and for each question they get right he gives the $$. Its pretty cool.
  8. Well, T'char, that means you will be vital for relaying information! You can play a double agent, and be informing both sides about each other, and get paid twice as much! You can go to my bad character soon. Major Naruk. He'll give you some chores!
  9. Thrawn, you're ranked general and you've only got 700, oooh, i know what you mean. about staying on that rank. well, when i get there, i'll probably go fo jedi master or something... but i have ages to go!
  10. hmmmm.... stellar... how many of them are floating around??
  11. Well, Trej, if you could get him to do that, I'm sure you'd have a LOT of happy friends!
  12. hehehe, well Phytho, we will find out soon enough how everything connects. thats part of a good story. we can play bad roles too. I'm gonna play one bad commander as soon as i get ranked up a bit. (not too long). i will get brownie in on it soon!
  13. Yah. Shame that the ranks are all over the place. I'd rather just have army rankings, while Im sure others would prefer Naval. I wish I could just stop once I get to general, but thats a ways away!
  14. True. If the female writers can't stand up for dominant single women, they who can?
  15. But if they succeeded with one why not make more? I hope his origins stay one of the mysteries only to be revealed in the last movie. The fact files for the original movie charcters told a lot about what they would do, but Grievous is still a BIG mystery. Thats definitely a positive by GL. I just hope he follows through. Grievous's death had better be awesome. I just hope they don't give it some quick fix, like planetary bombardment. I have such a problem with awesome guys dying easily. Maul was pretty dang cool, and he dies before he can really do anything. Disappointing. Grievous had better do more!
  16. That's right. Mad has a valid point. I would first and foremostly thank him for the wonderful things he did, like the Force, and the cool ships. Then I would give him suggestions about where to go from there. I don't think he actually is in control of things like Rebellion. He probably gives the thumbs up, but probably has little say (or interest) in making them. Other people make the stuff and get him to okay it.
  17. In an odd sort of way, that just started to look like making some sense! I agree. Look at the gender of most of the authors. If I'm not mistaken, most are male, and so thus, the roles of woman are being portrayed by males and their perception of females!
  18. Maybe I just go to his front door at 6am yelling, "Lucas, I gotta have a word with you!" Na! I just try calling!
  19. Bass Drop- SOundlab
  20. Lano and Woodley! That's one of the best series ever! Its so funny, but unfortunately they only ever made about 15 episodes. GOod aussie humour!
  21. Yah, its War of the Ring. Its based on events outside of the movies. By the way Thrawn, its Nazgul (with a circumflex over the u). Modding it will be cool. I wanna get the Balrog! In one of the promos, he picks up a guy and turns him into ash! I wanna get some trolls too, with big clubs! how fun!
  22. “Here is the story of the Vorei, now that I have all the information. “Mouvia was settled some 500 years ago by the race that now inhabits it, the Mouvians. They were once only a nomadic and secluded race of beings, only concerned with their affairs. Then they discovered the planet and settled it against their nature. They lived happily and peaceably for many years until an unknown race entered their system. This race was the Vorei. An insect-like race with the sole purpose of consuming all in its path. They do not think or feel, but just act on instinct. They have hive minds, and work together extremely well. “They came and started assaulting the planet. But what I just found out is that the Mouvians weren’t the first to experience this evil. The Vorei had already attacked and nearly desolated another system. This system was nearby, but because of orbital patterns, is further away today. This was the system of Kestron. Humans and many other species dwelt there, and there was little unity. When the Vorei attacked, they bonded together and fought back. I only just found out, that they had developed a secret weapon that aggravated the creatures. With this, they would become frenzied and even kill themselves. The Mouvians discovered the Kestronians had this only at the very end, when they were down to their last men. They asked the Kestronians for help, but they didn’t come. “It was then that the jedi made their last stand, and sacrificing themselves, defeated the Vorei. Ever since, Mouvia and Vathinor have been at odds. This is where things don’t fit. Why would any Vorei still exist, and why would they be on Vathinor? Nuri and I will go to Kestron to check things out. Afton, gather a small group and go after Rantar. If you find anything, come back here. We will meet again here in three weeks. That gives you plenty of time for travel and investigation. “And may the force be with you all.â€
  23. The feeling is mutual. (about watching them over and over) Yes you spelled that right, for the first few letters! A white elephant? What is it with colours and animals? Anyway, I can bag it all I want, but I still'll watch them heapss.
  24. I tend to agree with those feelings. I'm not sexist but heroins aren't quite the same. That covers not just SW, but other areas as well. It might be because as you say, it's hard to connect with them. I do like Adi Galia, but, like Plo Koon and others, they make such a minimal appearance that you're not sure how much you like them.
