Which is your favorite Starfighter? (corrected)
Barkoa replied to Mad78's topic in General Discussion
I just have a thing for the jedi starfighters. The high manouverability and the speed seem to make them cool. ALthough they wouldn't be good for normal beings, they work well for the jedi. As far as normal beings' ships, the A-wing then takes my vote! They're cool too. -
As of the whole midi-chlorian debate, I would have to agree with Trej. I think part of the mystery was in the lack of knowledge about what the force actually was. Another cool power would be to be able to hide through the force from other jedi or sith, so you could be very close to them, and they couldn't sense you or anything! Ambushes would be heaps easier!

That is all very interesting, but what does it have to do with the topic again? I'm amazed to see yoda ranking so high! I wonder if he'd have ranked so high before Ep II was released!! I actually found him rather annoying the original three movies!

Barkoa made his way to his room inside the academy. He made sure everything was in order. After getting a quick drink, he headed down the hall and up a large lift. After a few more times making his way up the temple, he reached the door of the Council Chambers. This wasn't going to be easy, but he had to do it. ANyway, no doubt they'd noticed him by now.

Mine are some greek letter and something else, like the Tau Enforcer or something like that. I also have used Sirius as the name for commanding ships.

In the Clone Wars series, I found Obi Wan to be very cool! But mine has always been Plo Koon! I don't really know why, but I like how the Dorians look especially with their masks. Also, in jedi power battles, he had a yellow saber, which was also very cool!

Nice power Antilles! Trej, I meant not like they all have more powers, but more like possibly ways of using the force or actual other powers that one possesses that is unique to them. I thought it would be cool to be able to bend light slightly, allowing them to make shadows deeper etc, or even amplify light. maybe dumb, but I thought it would be cool.

The Triphon Cruiser slowed out of hyperspace. The viewport was filled with the view of a very large, blue-green planet. It was covered with forests and plains, mountains and oceans. It was beautiful and serene. There were two moons orbiting it, one was dull, small and greyish, while the other was larger and just as lush as the planet. This was the one they were heading for. "Okay, everyone," said Barkoa now that the remaining crew were gathered, "we are about to land on Phalax. When we get there Mirkon can show Afton to the city for some suitable accomodation, and then will return to the barracks. My partner and I will then go back to the academy. Afton, if its possible, I want you to go after Rantar. us jedi will have other business to attend to. In two days we will meet at the Moon-wanderer bar on the outskirts of town to discuss in more depth what will happen next with you. Also, if you meet anyone that can help us to figure out this mystery of the Vorei, bring them along." He would have to report this all to the council, and he wasn't so sure he should involve the others, but Rantar had to be looked after and the council couldn't spare any more jedi. The ship landed on one of the public landing pads in town. It was sunset for the moon, and the warm, humid air hit them as they each stepped out. Home. That was a good feeling for Barkoa, but for how long?

I think it sounds cool but I don't know what the Rapora are or anything like that. I also am not too sure about the Star Wars world after the Jedi Academy series. If you give me some info, I will be a bit more helpful. Also, your posts are very huge, so it might take me a while to read and write back.

Sorry about the editing, I'm not too familiar with Forums. I will do that in the future. Admiral Anitlles, what I mean by strategy game is one with actual physical models. Not a computer game like battlegrounds is. If you're not sure what I mean by this go to the link on one of my earlier posts . These games involve assembling, painting and fighting with the models over terrain. you use dice and each type of unit has stats about how good they are etc. That's what I mean by a strategy game!

I am wanting to know about new force powers that noone has ever heard of that you think jedi would do well to have. These could be long-forgotten, or newly learnt powers.

Jedi are vital to the evolution of Star Wars. This is here to see which jedi ranks the highest (mainly ones from the movies).

Also, if anyone knows of any better places for pix of Grievous than Google, let me know here thanx! And here is some info from SW.com http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/generalgrievous/index.html

I also rememered there is a game thats all about space fleets. An SW version of that would be cool, huge ship, fighters squads, cruisers etc!

How do you get a rank on the forums?
Barkoa replied to TheViking's question in Questions from Newbies
Thanx Admiral Thrawn, and may I say that he was one of my most favourite Star wars characters ever! I love the Chiss, in fact my main jedi I always use is Barkoa, (hence my name) who is a Chiss jedi! -
Okay, well, no thanks, yet! I'll do some searching, but thanx for the tip! I might be able to try classifieds around here too.
-
Far out! You guys have a lot to say. I'll try to see the movie over this weekend so I can join the discussion! I hadn't heard of most of this stuff before! It sounds...interesting.
-
I love the Super Troopers. I wish they'd carry them through into later games. The Arc Hammer was also the coolest ship I've seen in while besides the Raven's Claw!
-
Not a controller as such, but more of a master, like Sidious is sort of a controller of Maul as he is his master if that makes any sense. Thanx for the correction!
-
Nice, but it took a bit to think about. I'll try to find some other cool ones!

"DOn't worry Afton, I'd already decided to let them go. I don't know if you heard the message, but Rantar doesn't want us to follow him...yet. Thanks for fixing the hyperdrive. Now, lets get to Mouvia." He went to the bridge and told Mirkon what was happening. As the ship accelerated, the stars blurred into streaks of white light. They were going home, but there was still so much to think about.

This droid was really getting on Barkoa's nerves. Flipping back, he prepared for another strike. Using force-speed, he sprinted at the droid, slashing will great speed and accuracy at the droid. It blocked many, but failed to block one that snicked its leg. At that same instant it fired the missiles, but fell over slightly, causing them to miss hitting the ship initially although they turned around preparing for a second approach. With the droid's lack of mobility now, it was easy work for Kyp and Barkoa to finish it off. They both turned to see what would happen with the last two missiles.

Barkoa heard the message over the com system. "okay, he seems to know what he's doing. Afton, get that hyperdrive back in order, and Mirkon, sets coordinates for Mouvia and keep a tracker on his signal." This was one of the hardest decisons he'd ever made. It was all part of being a jedi though, and he hoped he wouldn't regreti it.
-
Mirkon was shocked. "Barkoa! How can we risk the lives of all of us just to go for one person?" He was quiet for a minute. "Well, I sense she won't hurt him, for now. If we can track the ship, we can go home, but if we can't, we are responsible for his life." "Yes, Barkoa. I'll see what I can do."

Nuri heard the sound of warning signals going off to alert the whole town of an attack. There was little she could do. She decided to get back to the academy. Thanking the bartender, she ran back to her speeder and zipped back to the academy. It appeared many of them had left for the battle. She ran to the hangar. She was disappointed to find ALL of the ships gone. She'd have to wait this one out, which was quite painful for her. She wanted to see Barkoa again. He was one of her best friends and she was eager to tell him her good news. She went to the roof and watched the sky patiently for two hours before returning to her room for meditation.
