Learning to make a gif takes maximum 30 minutes. http://www.whitsoftdev.com/unfreez/ Here is a free program which you can use to make basic stuff. Though you shall need an image editor.

Well it sounds like a nice idea but s usual that main problem lies in the fact that to add stuff you need the source code... That we don't have Bloody Lucasarts!
