Man, you work fast. Excellent job like always EvilleJedi.

Do you have an urge to display your creative abilities? Well I've got something for you. I'll try to include any piece of Crest-art that you guys produce so long as it follows these guidelines: 1. The portrait must be suitable for a game rating of Mature not Adult (No Pornography guys, I know those soldiers get lonely in the trenches but...) 2. The portrait must include the Imperial/Rebel Crest in some manner. 3. The portrait may including writing, but it must be in Aurabesh or another form of Star Wars script. These images will be used to decorate heroic and legendary units of the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire. I'll also be willing to accept unit insignias and banners for use on Starship skins. Emblems for Mercenaries and Pirates will be requested at a later time. Well guys I've been working on some Crest Art. Take a look. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/CrestArtExamples.jpg

NMA Project- Reality of Rebellion

Well It'll come down to just how much my machine can bear, anyway. If my machine tries to kill me if I do as you suggest I won't have it in. I know I will change the weapons effects once I get the proper tools for it. Expect blaster cannons to do alot more then shoot sparks. -
NMA Project- Reality of Rebellion

Well, I said unlikely, not necessarily difficult. You could relatively easily get one or two formations of Mandalorian Warriors, but you're not going to have the resources or time to build a fleet of 200 Mandalorian Formations. -

I think JI that once the mod gets really going that I'll make it VERY hard to obtain Mandalorians. I'll probably make it so that you're more likely to stumble upon the Katana Fleet by accident as you'll be to have a large number of Mandalorians at your command. As to the question of re-researching a design, I'd like to have it as you've put it, but that may not be possible depending upon the design of the engine. -
Let me think... Name an enormous modern unit on earth that has never been camoflaged. Maybe an aircraft carrier. Really, not everyone has radar, nor can you get a precise bearing on a unit through nothing but sound. The purpose of camoflage is to give the attacker or defender a few more seconds before being spotted, nothing more.

Yes and no... If you, the player, miss an AT-ST moving in on your forces it has more then done its job. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/AT-STImperialColors.jpg I'm thinking about camo for the Imperials and think I know what I'm going to do (Though camo won't really appear on the units until the higher training levels with them). I recall seeing an early world war II piece of artwork that showed a pattern camo over a panzer grey base, imperial camoflage would probably be pretty similar. EDIT: There, finished the Alternate Camo Set. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/AT-STImperialAlternateCamoflage.jpg

Well I've finished creating an experimental camoflage regime for the Elite Rebel AT-ST. Tell me what you think of them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/AT-STRebelAlternateCamoflage.jpg The other color scheme will be utilized on maps that are primarily plains, urban terrain, or islands. Worlds like Naboo, Bothawui, Mon Calamari, Coruscant, and Corellia for example. I keep forgetting about desert worlds... Hmm.

The Tan colorations seems to me to be a one of the primary colors used by the Rebel Alliance along with white, grey, red, and blue. On most of the ground vehicles we've seen the rebels seem to have an off tan coloration and I copied that as much as possible. The Empire on the other hand seems to use a pallette based on just a few colors: Black, Grey, "Star Destroyer White", Dark Grey, and red-brown (Only used on speeder bikes from what I've seen). So basically I've tried to create a standard color pallette for each side. As for camoflage, I'm tempted to create an "Ambush" Camoflage version for Forest Maps and a "White Wash" version for Snow Maps.

NMA Project- Reality of Rebellion

The brightness isn't intentional. The blue logo is the symbol for the Kuat Drive Yards, the color denotes which subsidiary produces the vehicle which in this case is Kuat Systems Engineering. The Manufacturer logo only appears on units that you have to build the equipment for (Unlike the Mercenaries who come with their own equipment). -

The top row is imperial V-wing, the bottom row is rebel V-wings. The second to last rank is a Kamino Clone and the last rank is a Spaarti Clone. I wanted the two types of clones to look alike. -
Since Reality of Rebellion will utilize a corporation based technology tree, we'll have to create a paint scheme for both sides. I want to go a step further and give each training level its own color scheme. I've already started this process. So ask yourself one question, what would a rebel owned AT-ST look like? Would it look something like this... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/AT-STRebelColors.jpg

[ROR] Topics-A Question of Scale
Stellar_Magic replied to Stellar_Magic's topic in EAW - Modding Arts Inc.
Weak Folk? Some of the equipment on display could eat an AT-AT for breakfast. May I draw your attention to the Loronar MAS 2xB. One shot from it and the walker wouldn't just be destroyed... It would be vaporized. -

Update, I've finished the symbology system that I'll be using in the mod. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/V-wingDisplay.jpg You may note that Mandalorians and mercenaries will be available to both sides of the conflict. I'll set it up so that mandalorians are very expensive and require a level 5 base before even the start of their tech tree will open up. Mercenaries will be available at the lowest level bases once a mercenary recruitment center is constructed. Mercenaries will be very expensive to produce but will be produced within an extremely short period of time. All sides have at least secen different versions. As you move from left to right the training level increaes until you reach the last column which is just clones. So, what do you guys think. -
Rebellion Reloaded Character: IMPERIAL
Stellar_Magic replied to Lord_La_forge's topic in General Discussion
You can blame me for having Kara Nessis being somewhat generic, but I felt that I didn't want to create a character that would come to dominate the campaign, if he or she would have been of such dominance he or she would have been mentioned in the books. -
Dang.. They used some of the Ground Vehicles from Battlefront in the game already...

[ROR] Topics-A Question of Scale
Stellar_Magic replied to Stellar_Magic's topic in EAW - Modding Arts Inc.
Well I actually had to make that thing from just a few illustrations of a mysterious walker on the Star Wars Technical Commentaries. I've come up with the name All Terrain-Heavy Assaliant to stand in for something more definite down the line. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/AT-HA.jpg You like the three different versions of the Juggernaught? All of them exist, at least according to theforce.net. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/JuggernaughtEvolution.jpg -
[ROR] Topics-A Question of Scale
Stellar_Magic replied to Stellar_Magic's topic in EAW - Modding Arts Inc.
Well back to talk of scale. I've just finished a chart that shows the approxmate size of a variety of different units... Enjoy. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/UnitDisplay.jpg -
Not really, but I know there will be some people that want their jedi/sith.
-
Unfortunately there will be no jedi other then the heroes.
-
Stellar cracks his knuckles... Lets get to work then. From the video it looks like Vader already can deflect blaster bolts, we'll just have to set it up so he can deflect the rockets. Another thing to mod in

I'd guess we could at least set it up so that the AT-AT uses "Maximum Firepower" when engaging structures. For more debate on tactics go here... http://swempireatwar.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1331
