  2. Next time (*those who didn't posted here http://pff.swrebellion.com/index.php?topic=2658.50 ) try to be on time. One of the main problems of the petitions is a total lack of synchronization with the dev deadlines and time management. Second ... they don't give nothing diverse in return (feedback) and they don't use their full potential as a community action. A petition seems to be a hardcore fan thing (the marketing guys tend to try to please mainly casual buyer and they don't listen to the hardcore fans) while a feedback session is more medium and neutral balanceing the hardcore fan feedback with the low medium one (casual buyer).

  6. Admiral's Nightmares are scenarios - but they are made on the unmoded SWR. For ex: Imagine starting to play against the empire with only one planet or... if you are more hardcore with only one ship or even 2 characters only ... win that if you can. Usually before I start a game I generate multiple ones until I select a galaxy layout that I like. If you are going to play with the stats the removal of buildable units will not affect anything ... lowering the maintance will. Its all in how simetrical can you make it to affect all ships. The AI builds ships based on the stats so I ended up once with it building only one ship or not building others etc. So you must be very delicate ... look at the closest ship. If you make it worth more than that the AI will forget about it.
  7. I think you are refering to PTESB Mod. 1. The PTESB mod tryes to make the AI's life a bit more easyer. The SWR AI is actually acceptable compared to EAW as long as you take your time to actually tune all the stats to perfection. 2. Yes the AI colonises uninhabited planets. 3. That button was suposed to make a change in the stats live useing RebEd but it was not fully implemented since I didn't had the time nor a programmer. 4. It will if you play relaxed. Also remember that some of the troops have shields and cannot be bombarded so it will be a bit more hard to take over. In the last version availeble for download can support one more polishing but the differences will be minimal but since they always variate ... you never know. My advaice to you is to play relaxed on medium or even easy if you don't bother the AI in the first 100 days. Don't play on hard - this gives to the AI more troops and in different locations - this is slowing him down since between 5 moves 2-3 are good and he looses a lot of precious time. Also a good experience will be for you to select a game that has all your starting planets very close ... I love that. Btw you could try the Admiral Nightmares scenarios on a clean SWR.

  10. Maybe at the end they will escape from the cylon new found love for humans. I wonder how in the hell a partial manned fleet will ever manage to mount a rescue. It will be a damn interesting season. I also wonder how the Chief and Baltar will deal with their old cylon womens comming back. He he he.
  11. -Though I may have missed an install process out of stupidity. Yes you did. The models places have been changed so the Empire starts with the SSD ... etc. There is one file there that you will have to copy/paste inside your game besides useing RebEd to load the mod.

Loll - its time to go big - REALLY BIG! Star Trek vs. Star Wars vs. Battlestar Gallactica vs. SG-1 Nobody on the planet made such a story.
  13. I don't know that any of you will agree ... but for SW to make a huge comback someone will have to retire (GL). LEC is in the process of changeing it self ... but I cannot forsee if the changes will be good or bad. A lot of people left the company so now is your chance to apply for a job

  15. Yeah ... Baltar is an imbecil. My main concern is what will happen with the rest of the fleet.
  16. The problems with cards ... you see ... are not the big pictures but the 3 small ones that you play with them in the game. My mod has concentrated on those for max effect. It was a pain to get good quality resizes.
  17. SW Rebellion - loll. Btw I will like (if possible) to get a PM from you guys with all your comments about the PTESB MP. I am curious to know if it is balanced enough. I may decide to fully port PTESB in our SW dimension. The changes will be minimal and most will be text story changes.
  18. Wow - with the current bugs on 1.03 I think we will have to wait for the 1.04. I'll start to port 1.03 anyway - still it depends on the Petro's reply to the avalanche of bugs reported on 1.03.

  22. Delphi-PG pls. start the preparations for the 1.04 patch free beta testing system before release! This way we will avoid many bugs that get worse or are left behind.
