i'ld really like to see the thrawn series done with the original actors. The books were set in a period where the chars are about the age the actors are now. SO it could easily be done i think.

when you play as rebells you have to build your fleets around your only real strength ... thats fighters. I'm not going to give away how I setup my fleets but you really need to have alot of fighters all the time.

K i formated and went to install rebellion and i got this error msg "the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft windows applications. Choose close to terminate the application." is there any way to work around this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thx

There's a wicked sw mod coming out for the game allegiance ( http://www.freeallegiance.org/ ) which is basically if u look at it swrebellion + xwing vs tie. It's quite fun once you get a hang of it but it does have a pretty high learning curve. But yeah you can catch some screen shots and a bit of info here ( http://www.freeallegiance.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6210 ) just check it out and if you like what you see, help support it. depends, space battles fighters are the key, and just to overall dominate just go around destroying planetary resources seems to be the best way to win these days :/

also a good tip vader (if u don't allready know) is that when the imperals assign their ships/fighters to attack rebel fighters the attack them in a specific order, and that is (first to last) b-wings, y-wings, x-wings, a wings. Thats why it's always a good idea to have a fairly large number of both a/xwings if u have any sort of "bomber" because the "fighters" will not be attacked til last, so that gives them plenty of time to mow through ties while their buisy with the "bombers" i have some very good strats that evolve around this that iwon't reveal at this time but it's good know and keep in the bac of your mind when dealing with enemy fighters.

wow thats nuts ... yeah i can feel for vader at this point being a rebel player. And atm i seemed to have lost my rebellion cd :/ so i'm on a mission to find it and it has yetto be found ( i can feel for imperator on this one ). But i'm glad to hear things moving along well for the both of u.

yeah but when u select your task force to attack capital ships using the "missions" button they will automatically target the most powerfull enemy capital ship and attack it at once ...

vader .... when using b-wings make sure u have at least the same number or if not double the amount of a/x-wings per b-wing to take care of those nasty interceptors / defenders quickly so you'll still have b-wings left to wreak havok on the cap ships.

and gamespy won't work if you have the rebellion update either.
