well i was thinking if the community can agree on a server and channel to idle in to get games going and to converse would the site back it?

wow there was alot of replys and unfortunately i don't have the time to read them all but a couple things i would suggest (if allready not suggested) would be to have the multiplayer more than 2 players but like a max of 3 or 4 that would be very interesting and fun. Also instead of having it set in 1 specific timeline, myabe have the option available to select wich timeline to play in etc.

Hey hows it going. Well i used to be a semi regular back in the day using alaises as talon karrde and mazzic. Well basically now that msn is gone i'm finding it PARTICULARLY difficult to find an online game. I do however idle in the rebellion gamespy room but there is always NOBODY there. So as a suggestion i was thinking that this site should maybe have an irc channel, and if there is such a channel allready could i please get the server and channel #. I'm allready an avid gamer with galaxies, Counter -m Strike and Day of Defeat and i just came across my very missed copy of rebellion that i lost over a year ago. Having an irc channel and having the regulars idle in it would be just amazing and soooo much more convenient to find games or at least schedule them instead of e-mailing and private messaging. And I know gamespy can be a bit of a resource hog (depending on your system) but even having more people idling and supporting the rebellion room they have would be nice also. That way even if a play is not on at the time .. u can at least message them cuz they'll most likely respond to that faster than mail. These are just a bit of input, they might not be the best suggestions but i think it would make it easier on all the players in finding a match instead of getting bored of the AI and bored of the game as well. diplomacy, recruit, sabatage, thats all there really is to do ... build key facilities and explore but nothing special.

uhhh did they take it off of the zone? if so is there any other way to find people to play? And if your interested in having a game or whatever drop me a line @ trip_wyre@hotmail.com or #endeffect in irc gamesnet (look for murphy) but yeah i'm pretty dissapointed it's not on the zone anymore XeqtR (galaxies @ ahazi)
