  1. No, I think he means the thread.
  2. And we don't really pay that much attention to the ranks anyways. We don't even use them in the RPG.
  3. Was that the topic, or was the topic about bounty hunters trying to keep their threads alive. Or bounty threaders keeping hunts alive? It's almost impossible to tell.
  4. Try a sort of embossed image of the emblem on the background, sort of like the original Reb/Imp ones, but make it look nicer.
  5. There will be a great hole in the community until your return. Maybe we can start up a collection and pay your monthly internet bills!
  6. No problem. It's a pain to read through all of the posts, especially the old ones.
  7. Until then, lets keep this thread alive!
  8. While it would be nice to have Grand Admiral and not Major (as of now) next to my name, I think that I should earn my posts/rank. Since I was gone, I don't have the right to come back and say "I wan't all my old posts recognized. Promote me!". I'll work for it
  9. Better, but I've never been a fan of images for backgrounds for chars. I like the idea of the emblems though. Maybe you could do something with them?
  10. There wasn't a build up or anything. They were suppose to be destroyed, and suddenly they come back...
  11. Ah, good to see you too Paul. I've been dropping by every now-and-then to read the news. I read one of your posts, or maybe one of Stratus', that said you were having health problems. Best wishes to you, my friend. It's good to see you are feeling up to posting!
  12. They were probably looking for a way to distinguish between enemy difficulties. In Jedi Outcast, all of the high-ranking officers wore black uniforms, the moderate difficulty officers wore the brown, and the easy officers wore the winterfresh uniforms.
  13. Does this one work? Edit: Ok, tried it every which way, and it doesn't want to post a .bmp file, so here's a link. Let me know if it works: http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0SAAAADIWSzGaNCwuHOOhvOIOvtrh6VY966CVGAgCXHy*1!xwBOK9wTNoaYrA4vdRBwvZUy3ZldFgBQ41f44TJtZSI48hobllt18XNRs4wgEAAAAAAAAAAA/Emkay2.bmp?dc=4675480824318844362
  14. I use to do it with JediIgor on the old forum. It was really more like a chat room. Every time we used the chat room, though, we didn't have much to say.
  15. The uniforms there are really more green than brown, and there are now uniforms that look like those in the other two.
  16. I think that the firing patter is due to something in the original game. The best way to couteract it is to create a more ballanced fleet. Build ships to take out the ISDs.
  17. Perhaps you could edit that so the claws stab him in the head> That would be quite satifying...
  18. That quite strange. When you go to lower the colour depth, what settings are you using? I just did a test with a screen shot I took while playing my MMORPG. It's around 16million colors and looks pretty good. Be sure to use Error Diffusion and not Nearest Colour, as NC will screw you image up. If that doesn't work, post an image of both the original and your 256 version and I'll see what I can do.
  19. First off, welcome to the forums! As for your question, there was a topic like this in the Gaming Stories forum. http://www.swrebellion.com/postt14.html There were lots of suggestion, and one of them might just work
  20. I guess I should have know. TK hasn't been here for quite a while.
  21. Aye, the truth is the force...
  22. No, his was the winterfresh colour too. http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/admiralozzel/img/movie_bg.jpg There were some uniforms in the first movie that could pass off as brown.
  23. If you keep posting your replys like you are now, I might make up for that, and then some
  24. That true, but there was one thing bothering me. I know Yoda was younger and all, but he looked it. Episode II is only what, fourt or so years before ESB? When your an 800-and-something year old alien, I doubt fourty years will really make a difference on how you look. The new Yoda just looked too young to me. I also think that fans would have been upset if they hadn't used a CG Yoda. As you said, things change, but it's how he looked that sort of gets me.
