Very interesting. Was this footage taken at some sort of preview screening? It is too bad that it is not a little brighter, but ou do get to see many things not included in the trailers. It would also have been nice if they had added sound to the trailer, rather than a simply score, but oh well.

That would certainly be a wise choice for him. Stepping into the EU would open him up to pissing off alot of fans. Doing the pre-ANH time period would draw in most of the Star Wars fans seeing as the Empire is what interests most people. He also wouldn't be forced to use any characters we already know and love (also a good thing. I don't want to see some one else playing Palpy or doing hte voice of Vader).

Which makes me slightly warey. Westwood was affiliated with EA, and we all know what EA is like when relating to customers. But, this is a new company, so I can't judge them by past affiliations. Looks good Cain. Hopefully much good will come of this.

Wow, now those are some nice PC cases! If I could buy just the case I'd definitely go out and get one... assuming they were made available anywhere but Celebration III. Normally I'm against Alienware, simply because they make people think that their systems are better than what you can get elsewhere (you can build them yourself, you're just paying them to put them together), but I must give them cudos for their fine work!. Despite the fact that I'm probably jsut as sceptical as you Kaja, I'll answer a few of your questions. As yet there is only the tentative release date of "fall". So I'd say anywhere between September and November. Well, because the game will use a slightly tweaked version of the first, you can expect the system requirements to be roughly the same as the first. You'll have all of the same factions as in the first: the Empire, the Alliance, the droids and the clones. If you include the Wookie class for the alliance, you have five . Well, with the addition of a Jedi class, there should be six classes per faction. EDIT:Apparently there is a sixth class of trooper being included in Battlefront 2. So there should be seven classes for each faction. The game will be set during the events of Episode III and will span through to the end of the original trilogy. There may also be events from Episode I and II. Again, you can expect all of the vehicles that were in the first game. Because there will be space battles included in this one, you might see more vehicles that relate to such a battlefield. You can also expect to see some things that are in Episode III. There should be roughly three weapons for each class. With Six classes per side... well two will overlap, one unique for each class. Simple math . There were wookies in the first game, so they will undoubtedly be in this one (they are in the screenshots after all). Because you're inquisative and want to gather the most information about a product before you either commit yourself to it, or condemn it. Yes, I do know. I think I just answered that. Definitely a fan creation. However, many of the other ship classes in there are not, and just go to show what the comics and the Dark Empire series have done to our preciouse Star WArs...

After four votes the College of Cardinals has elected the new Pope. Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger of Germany is now Pope Benedict XVI. Though I am not a religous man, I do give congradulations to the new Pope, as well as all Catholics. The position of Pope holds more signifigance than simply a leader of the Catholic Church. Each pontif works on the international stage to better humanity as a whole, a task no one, no matter what their beliefs, can belittle.

Yup, you're one of my officers Trej. I had to go with a different name since Thrawn, Grand_Admiral_Thrawn, Admiral_Thrawn, and Mitthrawnoruodo were all taken . I wish there were some sort of trading option so alliance members could send money, weapons or troops to other alliance members.

Well, some of the NJO series is worth it, but I felt they dragged it on too long. I mean, fifteen books!? By the end they seemed to be scraping the bottom for ideas.. Books like Balance Point (not realted to Shatter Point) were pointless. I read that book and said' Alright, and this added what? And I paid $40 for this!?". I've now learned not to buy hardcovers .

There must have been too much traffic at the tiem. I can get there now. It is a big download, but it looks interesting, so I'm willing to wait.
