  1. Thanks ! Basically it's just clicking the game select button on the left and then either the quick selection bar on the top, or one of the corresponding pictures. In the english version currently only Rebellion is working. Maybe I'll edit the overlay pics to grey with a red "not translated yet", so nobody will be confused with it. You looked for the fighters tutorial in the german version ? It's not there yet, cause I wrote the english one first. Maybe I can finish the german version this weekend. The reloaded 'page' was meant to be temporarily only, since it's mainly just the place to give tasks to my team, to show the progress and new technology to be used in building the TC. When it is finished, I'll make something more real with screenshots and all.

  4. - Ok, we're even now. -If you have any probs with Ms VisC, pm or email me. The file handling should be something I remember -You should be able to modify your link, if you click on details and then modify. Maybe this works.
  5. I found something like this, along others in the savegames, but this is still veeery early beta. I need to tinker around with the planets some more, cause your fleets have to be somewhere. But as I heard today I'm three weeks away from half of my 12 coming exams at the end of the semester, so I hope you'll understand that I better start learning to get an over-payed job someday

  8. Tsunami, I would prefer, if you'd post the entry to my page only. So it would be //members.xoom.it/d_kelley/ , or more simple //kickme.to/woodsboro/ .With the link you provided, the outer frame would be left away and I'd have to include a nifty script that loads the frame, or the start page just to have nobody integrating that part as 'his own'. The reloaded was initially intended as a resource page for my dll-editing team. When the TC is complete, there will be an easier access to the final page. Screed, it can still show in the game, but not always in RebEd. About the cards, did you download them from my page ??? Pucho, I thought I eliminated those red dots in the pic on my page, funny. I gotta check this out ... yep, you got the original. When I ever get the time to do this, then the other fighters will be placed there at random on both sides, btw. Your email ?   9. Tsunami, I have to quote 3DRealms here 'when it's done'. Although I plan to finish much earlier than Duke Never. Fighter pics with larger dimensions are scaled down by the game engine, it's just the one thing about the DS, that I wrote about. Good to know about the planet pics, I wanted to try something like this soon.
  10. No, feel the force. The pain will fade then (btw, it's just Mask ) I couldn't fire with that DS, at least not in the ten minutes I waited for the energy bar (already shown) to fill at least a bit. Also, you're right, both are applied to any DS. Even with multiple textures, they'd still have the same palette. Or is your problem to get all the parts of your model into one texture, Gank ?

Pellaeon , Corran Horn , Niles Ferrier , Ruhk , Tycho , Bel Iblis , Airen Cracken , Booster , Kell Tainer , Page , Voss Parck , Delak Krennel , Dorja , Brandei. I'm just asking this, cause every now and then I'm also creating cards for my page and these (along with "Mr. Phantom" Zsinj) were not anywhere I looked. And believe me, I looked..... I even mailed Aaron Allston about a pic from Zsinj

  13. Oh yeah, and what I also wanted to write into this thread: I finished the new fighters tutorial ! There I describe, how you can produce new starfighters and import them into Rebellion. Currently it's on my page and it should be in the downloads section here soon. I hope Vakundok will forgive me, that I included his texture program in it
  14. Elvis an Admiral ? Nnnn I thought A was sober again. Hehehe, congrats on the promotion ! The textured models ? Hmm, been working on that, but it's a bit difficult. As far as I understand it, the textures will be your flat pic with 'unwrapped' parts from the model all over it. To create these parts you have to make some kind of screenshot from, say the upper hull and then place it somewhere in your texture area. Same goes for the rest of the parts, that shall be textured. At least that's what I thought after reading the 3d prog's helpfile. Can anyone show me a good and easy-to-understand tutorial for this stuff ? I'll try to see if the guys from Polycount have anything on this. Screed: if a model appears in the game, but not in RebEd, then that's nothing to worry about. It just means, I made the .x file with LithUnwrap. Did you download these cards from my page ? Tsunami: If I'd get a good model from the NJO series, then I surely would convert it to Rebellion's format (after the TC, though). So far I've only found a model for the Coralskipper, which was in essence a brownish egg, with two torpedoe tubes. Maybe it would look better with other textures Pucho: Sub Zero, wins. Fatality. (ever seen the uncensored one from MK1 ? wohoo !)

So that people will still fiddle with the coding 5 years after the release You can do it, use the force, feel, don't think I found out, when you'll see the DS2: when the Alliance attacks a planet, that is building a DS AND has a completed imperial fleet in orbit as well. I found this out, when I played against myself with the Notebook and the 'big' pc Btw, making new entries for the textures should really be no problem. The second Bitmap Texture for models seems to be low-resolution one, remember that button in tactical ?
  16. Darn, I forgot that the T/F was out of the race, when I made the new tutorial. Oh yeah, btw: I finished the tutorial on how to create new fighters and bring them into the game. Some fighters are already in it + a few surprises Hope you like it !
  17. It is on the Soundtrack of the Special Edition CDs of Episode IV, I think that was the one that one of the authors in 'Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina' renamed to 'mad about me'. The name on the Soundtrack disc is still the original one, though.
  18. I agree to leave the MonCal ships in, they are an essential part of the NR fleet , especially during the Thrawn era. I've been working on the Enforcer class, which is an Immobilizer without the gravity-well generators, but it's still under development, cause I want to try out sticking some textures on it. Has anyone seen models and pics for the Mediator, Viscount, Bothan Assault cruiser and the other NJO ships ? You'll have to bear in mind, that we have to have some references to let the TC still be authentic
  19. Hi everybody, just dropped by between the parties You're right, the Peregrine is the M/Strk from XVT-BOP. I'll have to check, if I can convert this to work as the new CC-7700. When I'm sober again (about 14hours after new year's eve ) I'll also try and fiddle out, how to make textures for the models. Also there'll be sort of a small new tutorial, but more on that in a few days, until then: PARTY ON ! Oh yeah and about your Avatar : Get over here !

    I think the planets are just the small pics in the dlls, so far I have found nothing in the textures, that includes planets. Thanks again vakundok !
  23. Well I made a 'trench run' to DS2's reactor core and recorded that in XWA, but I'll have to check on how this'll look as a movie. Ship to ship battles should look goooood though, you'd just need to cobble some missions together and let the ships blaze away at each other, along with the fighters dogfighting here and there... Btw, Igor could you ask Night how LA reacts to the soundtrack from the movies being used in TFN's fan movies ? I've downloaded some and everyone has the music and sound effects in 'em. LA doesn't seem to care, as long as it's non-profit, could you try and clear this up ?

    In my opinion it is just a pic, just as the fighters are. The planets could be the small pics shown in the dlls, that would at least explain, why they look so pixelish in tactical One step at a time, though
