  1. What did you ask them?Oh, I don't even remember any more. I've sent them an assortment of news submissions, questions about different sections, ideas, and--I think--a threat. Well, maybe not a threat, but I may have thrown one or two in there. You know, something along the lines of: "Answer me e-mails now if you ever want to see your precious TFN mascot again!" and "This is my last warning, answer or get zapped by lightening bolts!" I can't quite remember the specifics, but no replies yet.
  2. I suppose I can see how GL could get lost in the SW universe. And then again, most people think he's as much a hardcore fan as we are, but if you really look at him and how he talks about SW and how he acts about...he's really not: he just cares about his movies, the rest he disregards.
  3. I was thinking more along the lines of Kentucky Fried Pigs, but Gamorreans is much better. TV commercial: Shows wormie dressed up as Colonel Sanders and talking with a cajun/Southern accent. "So come on down! Bring the wife, the kids, the dog, but no old people--we don't have the insurance! That's Colonel Wormie's Kentucky Fired Gamorreans! KFG! So come on down!"
  4. You'll see.... Hmm . . . curious. All right.... Speaking of ranks (i.e. Scath's rank), here's a few old memories (go down five or six posts): http://www.swrebellion.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=260&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=45
  5. Whoa, wait! Not yet! What's it going to be, Scath?
  6. Your question is whether or not making ANH was a mistake you then stated something about TPM. I am quite confused, so I'll simply answer the poll question and not comment on what you posted. I believe ANH (EPIV) was made originally top be STAR WARS and that's it. It has all the characterisitics that would imply a total ending and a stand-alone movie (except for the fact that Vader got away). First, you'll notice the lack of Imperial fleet (except for a total of three Star Destroyers, two of which may have been repeats) and Rebel fleet (except for a single corvette). You'll also notice that the Imperial insignia is quite different from the other two movies. Granted, it may represent a different pattern completely and, again, granted, TESB has a clear pattern, ROTJ insignia is a blooper, it still shows some...changes. You'll also notice allusions to past situations between Tarkin and the Rebellion, who had apparently been someone very important fighting the Alliance. You'll also notice the subsequent complete lack of mention of Tarkin, which shows that ideas changed quite radically from ANH and TESB. I could go on for quite some time, but I fear I have confused enough people already and, for those I have not, I think I have made my point. I think making ANH first was not a mistake since it was probably meant to be the only STAR WARS movie.
  7. What? I was simply commenting that Mara Jade was left out among females of the Skywalker family. What were you talking about?
  8. So the Luke Easter Egg information was already known before hand. Sigh.... Has anyone tried having Leia inprisoned aboard a Death Star and then sending a rescue party that includes Han and/or Chewie? That's the impression I got as to what we have to do to get that particular Easter Egg to work...though I may (again) be wrong....
  9. Har har har, Jahled; cute, real cute. I have seen The Birds...and I must say, The Cats... 8O
  10. That's no chicken...that's a space station.... Oh, wait, I get it!!! The bucket your avatar is holding!
  11. What does that even mean? Okay, I don't know much about the twins because I have not really read much of the NJO and the most I know about them is what I've read in the two Dark Tides, Vector Prime, Darksaber, the Thrawn trilogy (as babies), and the Jedi Academy trilogy. So tell me, is Jaina or Jacen the more aggressive one? I would have guessed Jacen, but I'm begining to think Jaina is more aggressive and Jacen is more of a passive-aggressive type. Corrections and explanations, please! Enlighten me.
  12. I nevered like Stephen King too much...he creeps me out and I, personaly, think he is disturbed. I wonder if something odd happened to him during his childhood.... The only Stephen King I have ever liked is The Shashank Redemption (sp?).
  13. I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but, no, I have yet to hear the infamous stormtrooper AH! scream in TPM.
  14. Indeed! I had the same reaction! Still do.
  15. When I first started reading SW novels, I would only read the ones that seemed interesting (Jedi Academy trilogy, Darksaber, Thrawn trilogy), but then (after buying every novel from after ROTJ and before the Hand of Thrawn) I decided to start reading in chronological. Then I discovered the Hand of Thrawn duology and jumped to reading them...it was then that I went back and picked up where I left off.... I've been trying to keep going now for about a year...I got bored (with the X-Wing novels, to be specific) and am currently stuck at Bacta War.
  16. Aye, indeed! SWARMER? Hmm...he must be on a VERY extended vacation since I've never met him (same goes for UntimleyDemise and Skynxnex). It would rather funny if they happened to disappear when I showed up.
  17. YIPEE!! By the way, excellent picture, Jahled!
  18. I agree with wormie, that is, up until I saw what GL did to Boba Fett in AOTC....
  19. I know. I just thought I'd point that out.
  20. Yes, just like many other things in the SW universe, the Death Star has been problems in the fact that GL and his staff did not watch out for the little mistakes that we, the fans, would later go crazy over. Trust me, I've had my fair share of breakdowns over problems in SW throughout these forums (Scath, Trej, and Jahled will probably agree). Do you really want to know?...
  21. I'm with Leia. It might be simply because she's the original and I have a bad connotation of all this prequel and don't know much about Jaina, but I like Leia best of all. She just seems the coolest of them all and the longest survivor and the strongest in the bunch (I, of course, mean strongest-willed). Of course, you forgot Mara Jade....
  22. Are you asking or are your trying to make a point? If the former, I'm not sure. If the latter, I don't know about Australia, but I do know that all native and native-born Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens by birth.
  23. Hey, I just noticed that the longest lasting characters in the entire SW movies (both trilogies) are: C-3PO R2-D2 Obi-Wan Kenobi (not alive for the last two, but he was there) Coming in a close second is Yoda, lasting all but one of the movies. Sorry, I just thought that would be interesting to point out.
  24. Hey, I was reading through the posts on this page and...well...where'd Antilliles run off to? What's going on?...
  25. Good theory. Most people get excited over the new stuff, not the good stuff. Even so, look at the poll. Zahn and NJO are in the lead and tied. That was predictable.
